An Early 1900s MxM Romance (Long Term, OCs)

Hi, I’m Pixel (She/Her - Trans), 27, from Germany (CET/CEST). I’ve been roleplaying for at least 10 years and am looking for a role-play partner who is 21+. Our characters can be 18+.

I imagine a role-play set somewhere in the early 1900s, meaning somewhere from 1900 to the 1950s. While I want our characters to get their happily ever after, I also see them facing some challenges (due to family, society, mental health, or whatever else we might come up with.) Smut is included, but not the only point of our writing. I want there to be some kind of story and development. The early 20th century lends itself well to plots with secrecy and discretion and even real world tragedies and conflicts. I prefer to be immersed in the era, so fantasy elements may only come into play, if they don’t take away from the historical experience.

What I play: I prefer to play Dom/Top characters, but can also enter switch/vers territory, if it fits with the other character. My characters are very masculine, very tall (sometimes way above average) and depending on the plot more gruff, but with a good and soft core. They may be older than yours, but I try to not make the age difference too big - usually not going above a 12 year difference, if there is a big one at all.

What I’m looking for: Someone to play a Sub/Bottom. The character can be more effeminate (and gender queer as long as amab), but doesn’t have to. If you want to play someone shy and inexperienced or a power bottom, I’m pretty open to any of it. Regardless, I want our characters to shine more for their personalities, rather than just for their position behind closed doors.

Writing and Communication:

I write semi-literate to literate. Depends on the writing partner and the scene being written. Sometimes a small paragraph or multiple big ones can feel fitting.

3rd person past tense.

I can make us a private server. I like setting up rooms and places as channels.

Faceclaims are a must. Real people (Old Photos, Actors, something that can pass for the era)

I want good OOC communication for planning, including communicating when we start and when we stop role-playing. Perhaps making some kind of schedule. I usually respond fairly quickly.

We can be friends! Getting all giddy over our characters, sharing memes, gifs, etc. If you need to vent, all that is fine with me. Your ideas matter to me too, of course!

Please communicate when something is off, or if you don’t want to proceed, etc. instead of ghosting. This way both of us can focus on moving on to other prospects.

Spicy Stuff: I am very open to various kinks, except for toilet things. My ideas lend themselves to Daddy issues and because I like my guys to be very tall, to a size difference kink, but I think those things are better discussed when we’re in contact. Please understand that RP and OOC lines can not be blurred.

RP Plots

As I'm looking for 1x1 MxM Role-play partners, here is a list for plot ideas. But I'm open to discuss new ones too.

The Handsome New Servant: 

The youngest son (18+) of a wealthy family has found liking to the new footman who recently joined the staff of the estate. Tall, handsome. A bit of a rough yet humble background, although he is such a professional when serving. Physically and emotionally the wealthy man starts to get attached to the servant… But the servant is only doing his job! Even if more comes of it, certainly they couldn’t be together, or could they…? Possibly set in the Edwardian era. I’m thinking of either a wealthy American family or British Nobles.

Anastasia inspired, but gay:

The Russian revolution got the Imperial family killed and many nobles as well. A young nobleman escaped with his life but lost his entire family and had to take on a new identity to survive. In a different country, perhaps Germany, he had to learn to live a normal and humble life, while staying out of the eyes of others. Finding work, he ends up with an employer who is a very humble and understanding man. As shy as the former nobleman is, his feelings grow and he wishes to be completely devoted to this humble man. But the fear of rejection and losing the stability he had just gained, is terrifying…Likely set in the early 1920s.

Big and Small - When Size Matters:

A man of short size, somewhat below average, hates his size, as he often gets teased about it. Then comes a man of above average size; practically a giant (above 7 feet/ 2 meters), who is so tall that he struggles with some aspects of daily life because of it. Having to duck through doors, bonking into things, getting unwanted attention. He too hates his size. 

Both men are of different backgrounds, but when they meet, they instantly connect. They appreciate each other’s sizes and learn to love their own through it. The era for this can be discussed.

Rags to Riches at Sea:

Set on a luxury liner, there is a wealthy man in first class and a poor one, either in crew or third class. Who plays who, is not decided, I literally thought up this idea while writing this. I just like the idea of crossing class-boundaries. A voyage is however on limited time and by the end of it they will have to figure out if they want to fight to continue this. How would they even go about that…? This plot can be set in any era. I have a lot of knowledge on ocean liners and can easily find one to set this on.

The Gruff Detective and his Helper:

He may be rough and not always pleasant, but the gruff detective has someone who sees him as his everything; his assistant. Someone with a softer and gentle side, who counteracts the roughness of the detective, who unfortunately had a very bad past. The assistant does it out of love, but there is a problem: The detective is married. He had been forced into an arranged marriage and he and his wife don’t even love each other. And so any bond between the men has to be kept secret… But what if the wife found out? I imagine late Victorian or Early Edwardian for this one.
