its been so long since i've come looking for rp partners on tumblr but i'm in desperate need of someone to write with so here i am on my knees begging. must be at least 20+ to reach out for plotting as i'm personally 29 ( don't feel comfy writing with anyone who still has the word teen in their age sorry. the only exception is if you're 19 but turning 20 this year. pls don't lie about your age 🙏 ). writing male characters is my preference but i can write females characters as well. we can also do doubles if you're into that. mostly write m/f or f/f but i'm also down for m/m. looking for plots that are drama-filled and more on the toxic / potentially darker side so that there's never a dull moment.

in terms of writing i can do anything from novella or multi-para to shorter things like one para or one liners / quick responses. absolutely love to plot / brainstorm, world build, flesh out characters together, create moodboards, make playlists / send songs, send inspo that reminds us of our charas, and generally gush over ongoing or future plots.

stalker plot with a twist. muse a is something of a micro celebrity / content creator with a small but loyal following. their face is plastered all over social media from tiktok to instagram to twitter and they love the attention that comes with it. enter muse b. they're one of muse a's most consistently loyal and avid followers, have been around practically since day one when they only had 40 ppl joining their lives, and have been trying to get noticed by muse a for the longest time. in their mind muse a would love them if only they'd give muse b the time of day. and then it happens. it's a fleeting moment on an instagram live but muse a reads something muse b writes in the chat, something so unhinged it genuinely gives muse a good laugh, and from that moment things are forever changed. muse a starts to remember muse b's username and periodically reads their messages if they see them pop up in the chat and things graduate from little shoutouts on ig live to muse a reaching out in dms. it's only when they accept the dm that's been waiting in their requests from muse b and see an entire private chat riddled with messages from from months ago that vary in degrees of sanity that muse a begins to realize just how obsessed muse b might be with them. they share it offhandedly with some of their close friends who find the behavior to be disturbing but muse a only seems to find it all to be amusing and maybe even a little flattering but they'd never admit that to their friends. could never tell them that this obsession that borders on psychosis is fascinating to them, could never share that selfishly they wanna see how much gas they can pour on the fire of this unhealthy obsession before everything went up in flames. and so they do exactly that.

we can obviously discuss this more in depth if it sounds even remotely interesting to you. or we can do something else entirely! just needed to get this out of my head.

as far as fcs go when it comes to males there's one face i really want to use and that's wonbin. my absolute fave male fc currently. if you give me the opp to use him my life is yours.

mad. muse a and muse b spent their highschool / college years hating each other - not really knowing why. they meet again some years later and muse a ends up confessing that they had a crush on muse b the whole time but didn't know how to deal with it. muse b admits to the same thing. now that the energy has shifted into attraction, they ask themselves - did they waste all this time being mad?

sometimes/why is she still here? a messy situationship vibe. muse a and muse b have been having a thing for years, started as a hook-up but caught feelings along the way. muse a is with someone else and yet keeps stringing muse b along, not really theirs, but not leaving them find someone else. muse b is growing tired of only having them sometimes, and wonders why they're still here.

i can't have you around me anymore. muse a is muse b's ex - and best friend. they've stayed close, probably closer than they should be - too close for muse b's girlfriend's comfort. they hang out in secret places, end up naked, nothing ever happens but they're always a little too close in pictures. when muse b's girlfriend asks them to choose, they decide they can't have muse a around anymore - but can't stop wondering if they should be with them instead.

i like you better when you're gone. muse a and muse b have had a good thing going on for years, but muse a had to move across the country for work and now they only see each other a few times a month. when they're together it feels like before - almost. but slowly, muse a starts feeling that they like muse b better when they're gone - and wonders if they're just idealizing something that is over.

+ (a fun one, to balance out the angst) good girl/shy. muse a has always been a good girl, never drinking or sleeping around. but then muse b showed up and took them dancing 'til the sun came up and they ended up falling in bed together. muse a has always been shy but now she's discovered what being bad feels like and begs muse b to ruin her life, making everyone in her life worried about her.

childhood sweethearts (on the rocks)

a plot where muse a and muse b have been friends since childhood — here and there, they would have a one night stand, but never really allowed themselves to progress into anything more than just friends. now, as adults who are figuring out the dating scene isn’t as easy as their parents made it seem, muse a and muse b are seeing each other more and more frequently. eventually, muse a starts seeing someone new, and has less and less time for muse b. i’m talking jealousy, tension!!! muse b realizing maybe they’ve had feelings for muse a the whole time, muse a having to make tough decisions — either continue dating this new person or hurt muse b!!! i liiiiive for drama pls

childhood sweethearts (with a twist)

okay but a plot where close childhood friends reunite — except muse a was in love with muse b growing up, and muse b became muse a’s best friend’s high school sweetheart. muse a concealed their feelings for muse b all throughout their friendship, in high school & college, although both muses definitely had feelings & felt sparks for one another long before muse b started dating muse a’s best friend. despite the connection they’d felt, neither wanted to jeopardize any of the friendships between the three, and ultimately, muse b ended up married to muse a’s bff… except now, years later, muse a and muse b reunite at muse a’s best friend’s funeral. imagine the hurt of losing a loved one but having the comfort of yet another loved one?? blurred lines, tension, second-guesses…….

okay so i’ve been kicking around a ranch hand plot where muse a is looking for help around the ranch they’ve just inherited due to a death in the family, and seeing as they’re just one person with lots of land, and virtually no knowledge on how to take care of it, it’s impossible to go it all on their own… enter muse b. muse b, a man who not only knows how to work the land but can take care of the ranch with ease, finds it impossible to not take care of muse a, while he's at it. just give me texan sunsets and lovers with low static music crooning in the background from some vinyl record please & ty

a friends with benefits plot where muse a is dead-set, hellbent on not having a relationship and not getting too intimately involved with muse b; muse b has been in love with muse a for years, and muse a knows this, but still can’t bring themselves to get emotionally attached. i need tensionnnn and like, a lil toxicity ykwim??? for the angst omg

so hear me out — a plot where muse a and muse b met at a friend of a friend’s party & instantly hit it off. muse a is immediately infatuated with muse b — they laugh, talk, drink; they even make an incredible beer pong team. at some point during the night, muse a decides to put the moves on muse b. however, after leaving to get them some drinks, muse a comes back to find muse b kissing someone else… and to make it worse? it’s their boyfriend/girlfriend. tbh this plot could have the potential of a shakespearean comedy if we did it right akdjgh ok i'm talking messssssssyyyy 

you feel like home (but i’ve got a different address)

okay so i need a tense plot where muse a and muse b are soulmates, beyond the shadow of a doubt — but muse a is married to a nightmare of a spouse. little by little, they spend more time together one on one, but it’s getting increasingly harder for muse b to see muse a with their spouse, especially knowing how that spouse treats muse a. idk this is a rough plot/work in progress plot but i feel like it has potential to go somewhere!!!
