A mermaid is a mythical creature that is half woman and half fish. The name comes from ‘mer’ meaning sea. Some of the bad things that mermaids are accused of include telling sailors their ship is doomed and enchanting sailors and causing shipwrecks. Seeing a mermaid is a sure sign of a violent storm to come. In other stories, they deliberately drag people down in the water and squeeze the life out of drowning men. They also take men down to their underwater kingdoms. However, on occasions, mermaids can also bring good fortune by giving humans cures or granting them wishes. In some tales, they even marry and live with humans.

I owned your house 2000 years ago. It's OK if I kick you out and throw you in jail or beat you for protesting, right? I mean, you've only owned it for 50 years! Sure, I wasn't living in my home for 2000 years, but it's the principle of the thing! I have the right to commit genocide because I once lived in that house. You and your native arguments can GFY.
My first hate comment, I mean you just deciced I said something else than what I did than attacked me for it. That’s not what I said. I explained why you shouldn’t call jews “colonizers” and “westerns”. You look at things just from 1948 and then tell a story. All the interenet talks about colonization of the west. Jews are not “the west”. Jews were colonized and treated like shit throught the world because of their ethnicity. I get you want people to know about Palestine, but stop earsing Jewish history to fit into your narrative. Jews are not white, it’s a religion but also etnicity just as much as other ethnicities it has it’s own cultures and tradition that were carried all through the many exciles. That’s why dissmising it is a form of antisemism and even if you want to critisize someone you can, but don’t desmiss the history of my people.
Also your analogy is wrong. You owned the house, you were kicked out of it (exciled) then you came to a different place, you were beaten there, your property was robbed and stolen. Then you came back to your homeland after 2000 years to settle. I never owned the house, I lived in the house, I paid the rent of the house but I never had sovernity of “the house” I owned the kitchen on it. You bought land, legally, from the owner, and there was even an agreement with the locals (Faisal–Weizmann Agreement).  The land was bought legally, between a willing seller and buyer (yes, arabs sold land to jews, we didn’t just popped out of nowhere and took it!). Then years after you lived there too, you got attacked and robbed and killed (e.g. The Disturbances of August 1929). By attacked I mean tried to kill all of you. Then we reach 1947 and the partition plan. With the conflict already present, why violence is cool then? There was no genocide or attacks from the Jewish side twards the Arab side, the ooposite.
By your analogy, I will say my family came to attack and beat you because they disagreed with the way the landlord (britian) decided to scatter his property and he gave more to you than me. My extended family started the war, trying to kill all of your family. You conquered land from them land, land that was supposed to go to me if they haven’t tried to take all of your land. My house was on that land, I escaped\was told to leave. Then the war was over and you asked if I and my family will recognize you, we said we don’t, so you kept the land. My cousin also seized some of my land but he never gave it to me, yet that never bothered me. I only hate you (edit: if anyone did not understand I went with asker analogy where I’m palestinian-arab and he is the jew). Also I never tagged the post, so if you saw it cause you are my follower, be my guest and unfollow instead of telling me gtf, cause I will not accept casual antisemitism in 2021. Goodbye.
edit: also who let you decide what is native? i didn’t know my nativity expired and Palestinians are now native because they conquered it centuries later??  why do you not fight for the natives of the Sahara desert or og Egyptians? want to advocate for Palestinians self determination? do it without erasing my heritage, learn the history or say you don’t really know but don’t tell Jews what they are or just ignore historical facts to support your point

ok, i’m done ignoring the antisemitism on tumblr. “Israel is a settler-colonial entity” from OP post or “tread over the indigenous people of the land” from the commenter who decided a random represent Israelis ignore the fact that Israelis are NATIVES to the land:
“Although Judaism as a religion first appears in Greek records during the Hellenistic period (323–31 BCE) and the earliest mention of Israel is inscribed on the Merneptah Stele dated 1213–1203 BCE, religious literature tells the story of Israelites going back at least as far as c. 1500 BCE. The Jewish diaspora began with the Assyrian captivity and continued on a much larger scale with the Babylonian captivity. Jews were also widespread throughout the Roman Empire, and this carried on to a lesser extent in the period of Byzantine rule in the central and eastern Mediterranean. In 638 CE the Byzantine Empire lost control of the Levant. The Arab Islamic Empire under Caliph Omar conquered Jerusalem and the lands of Mesopotamia, Syria and Egypt. “ - from the Jewish history entry on Wikipedia
You need to understand The Romans renamed the place Syria Palestina, and that’s why the name Palestine came to be (falastine in arabic, as there is no P sound in Arabic). But before that the place was called Judea, that’s why we are Jews, we are from Judea. That’s why you being antisemitic when you decide we are European white people. We are not. We are Jews, weather we are white or brown we are ethnically Jews. Did the British promised the land and the region to both arabs and jews? Yes. Did the Arabs had a reason to feel betrayed when the partition plan was announced in 1947? I mean yeah. A few decades earlier their was a plan to create greater Syria. Palestine identity grew only when the Jews started to return from the dispora in the late 19 century and early 20th century. Can you see why both are related to the land and to each other? The palestinian identity was shaped by the creation of the nations surroding it, they were not Jordans or Israelis, the were not Egyptian but those countries got their independence when the British empire decided to leave India and therefore did not need to control the ways to it, so they left the MENA region. “daily terrorism” and “ethnic cleansing”. Now when you try to wipe some enthicy down they tend to lessen not to be more than they were so if Israel does that, it does that terribly. Also Israel has suggested peace agreements dating from the 90s yet the Palestinians have rejected them. Why? Rockets are being shoot to Israel as I type this. Palestine does “daily terrorism” themselves. Or throwing rocks at civilians car is not terrorism? Running over people with cars is cool cause it’s their land right? It’s fine to go to settlers home and kill babies and kids and their parents? Yeah, you are right, it is very crystal clear. It’s crystal clear you only like Jews weak, dying without resistance. I know the Israeli narrative and I know the Palestinian one, I talked to both sides and I know where they disagree on the facts, where they read the reality differently. I also know that some voice in the “Free Palestine” earase the Jewish history and care more for annihalition of Israel than the creation of Palestine. They say Israel is not a country. Denying facts and saying “Israel belong at the sea” will not free Palestine. Only when you respect your enemies you can come to make peace with them. This conflict is older than the state of Israel. Jews were lynched in this country before it was a country, just for being here by the Palestinian residents. So when I say it’s complex it’s because I’m aware of both sides. Tow wrongs don’t make a right. My example showed how you can claim it’s clear and simple to the other side than what OP claimed. Here I can also quote a Zionist Israeli to counter yours:
“When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”    ―      Golda Meir,  A Land of Our Own: An Oral Autobiography
and "if the Arabs lay down their arms there will be no more war, but if Israel lays down its weapons there would be no more Israel." - Netanyahu
Instead of celebrating Ramadan Palestinians celebrate the falling of rockets on Israeli citizens, they lynch and throw rocks... but Israel wearing a wolf in sheep’s clothes. Fuck you. Goodnight.
When discussing Palestine/Israel, “It’s an extremely complicated situation” is always code for one of two things:
“I’m a wolf in sheep’s clothing trying to obfuscate the reality that Israel is a settler-colonial entity engaged in daily terrorism and ethnic cleansing by confusing you and reducing your confidence to speak openly about this topic”
or
“I have no idea wtf I’m talking about”
There is absolutely no in-between
