Travel Tips For Thailand
Thailand, also known as "The Land Of Smiles" is the second most visited country in the Asia Pacific. If you are planning to visit Thailand, here are the top 9 best tips for your trip.
Cultural Tips For Thailand:
Avoid Touching Other People's Heads
In Thai culture, the head is believed to be one of the holiest and purest parts of the body, so it's considered offensive to touch people's heads or hair.
Respect the King
Thai people adore their king. You'll find various posters, monuments, statues, and many more displays of affection. Thus you should never disrespect the Thai monarchy and say anything bad/offensive about them.
Remove Your Shoes Before Entering Temples
Unlike the head, the feet are considered the dirtiest part of the body in Thai culture. Thus you'll have to remove your shoes when entering temples, people's homes, spas, and some other establishments.

Safety Tips For Thailand:
Avoid Frauds:
Although Thailand might initially seem harmless, scams still exist as in many other places around the world. One of the most famous ones is 'the attraction closed scam'. Some Tuk-Tuk drivers might tell you that the place you asked them to go to is closed, so they will offer to take you to other places that they will recommend. Although this might not always be true, they will do it to get more money off of you.
Avoid Petty Theft
One of the worst things that can happen to a tourist is petty theft. In order to avoid petty theft make sure to lock your stuff in a safe place or somewhere else safe, and try not to bring too many valuables out with you while exploring.
Tumblr media
What Not to Do in Thailand:
Do Not Ride Elephants
There are a lot of organizations that make money by exploiting animals for the purpose of tourism, which is horribly wrong. Elephants' spines are made to carry lots of weight underneath or around them, not on them.
Riding elephants puts a lot of pressure on their bodies which is extremely harmful.
Do Not Stand Taller Than a Monk
The monks are some of the most respected people in Thai culture, thus you should never put yourself physically higher than a monk.
Do Not Overstay Your Visa
The Thai government is pretty strict with its immigration policy in terms of overstaying visas.
Usually, you will get a stamp on your passport which tells you the expiration of your visa, so make sure you leave before the expiration of your visa.
In case you fell in love with the country and you would like to stay longer, you can always apply for a visa extension.

Phuket
Have you ever asked yourself 'What is a great place for a vacation that is not too pricey, but will also satisfy most of your demands?'. Then Phuket is the best place. Phuket is famous for its breathtaking beaches, natural beauty, and all the nice people that live on that beautiful island.
Phuket is widely known for all the magnificent beaches it has, but one of them stands out the most. That beach is called Nai Thon Beach. What makes it stand out the most is, that there are no sun-loungers and umbrellas or restaurants, thus the beach is completely natural.

For people that like to try out something new, diving/snorkeling would be a great experience. Phuket has great underwater biodiversity. The dive sites have many different underwater creatures to show off to the divers, such as tiny clownfish, huge turtles, sandy-colored sharks, and many more. Also, a fun fact the one and only underwater painter Olga Belka lives in Phuket.

At the end of the day, there are a few interesting night markets scattered around the island. One of the best is the Chilva Market. Located in the most iconic district of Phuket Phuket Town, Chillva Market in Phuket is a trendy night market with a somewhat bohemian vibe and an impressive selection of food, fashion, and souvenir stalls. It has colorful shipping containers as shopfronts. The night market also has an overwhelmingly local feel, with attractively low prices to match.

My Dream Destination
From meatballs to creating one of the world's largest and most successful retail chains for the sale of furniture and household goods. I'm talking about no other than Sweden. It is one of the safest and richest countries in Europe.
I love visiting rural hereditary with charming mountains, azure skies areas, and busy cities. Luckily Sweeden is a perfect combination of both of them. Also, I absolutely love mountain skiing and it so happens that Sweden has a bunch of great skiing resorts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can't forget the flavorful food that Sweden has. The delicious worldwide famous meatballs with mashed potatoes and cranberry jam (Which they call Köttbullar) as one of my favorite main courses. My favorite Sweden dessert is cinnamon buns. They are perfect because they are not as sweet as many other desserts like chocolate fudge, macaronies, and other desserts.

Overall I would try to visit Sweden as soon as the Covid-19 quarantine settles down, and the Russian-Ukraine war finishes.

Cultural Shock
Thailand is amazing. It has everything, from tall and cold mountains to sunny and warm beaches, delicious food, fascinating culture, and many more. On the other hand, it's quite a freaky place.
Growing up in Russia for 10 years and suddenly moving to a different country was quite an experience. The first 2-3 months that I was going to school were very difficult due to a language border since I couldn't speak English neither the teachers could talk in Russian. As time went by my English skills improved and also I met some other people who could both speak Russian and English (such as Nazar).
As so I wasn't too familiar with the Thai culture. So when the time arrived for the vegetarian festival I was extremely shocked at what people would do to themselves. Even though at that time I only watched a more educational video during a Thai lesson it was still shocking. In that video, I saw people put a variety of different weird objects through their checks such as various types of spears, swords, and guns, and also there was a guy with a bike through his check. I was also shocked by the other activities that are done during the festival such as walking on a path of hot coal or what they called the fire walk, the Bamboo Sword Demarcating Ritual, and many other things.
In Russia, we don't have any festivals that would be even close to the vegetarian festival. One of the craziest Russian festivals is probably Maslenitsa (or Pancake week due to google translate). And the only truly crazy thing is that at the end of this festival we burn a giant woman's scarecrow made out of hay to celebrate the end of winter.

Mahanakhon
Hello everyone my name is Artem and I really like to travel around the world with my family. One of my favorite things to do during traveling is go to museums, and amusement parks and visit other significantly important landmarks.
One of my favorite trips was a trip to the MahaNakhonin Bangkok Thailand. It is the tallest skyscraper in Bangkok standing at 320m to the tip (78 floors). As we walked inside the enormous building we were greeted by a massive line to get the tickets for the ride on the elevator to the top of the building. Luckily my dad had already bought the tickets beforehand so we passed the line straight away. Even though the building is 78 floors, as we stepped into the elevator we got to the top in no time. When the elevator stopped I walked out of it to look around the full glass floor. Even though the room had walls they were made out of glass, so you were able to see the entire Bangkok from a bird's eye view. The view was breathtaking you were even able to see some of the top-floor apartment's balconies.
As we finished looking around the floor we started walking up the stairs to the glass floor walk and a roof bar. When we got all the way to the top of the building there were a lot of people on the glass floor, but because the sun was setting people started to go toward the edges to get the best pictures for their social media accounts. As there were only a few people left on the glass floor, as I stepped onto the glass deck and looked down the view was both terrifying and magnificent. I stood there for a good 10 minutes just looking down at people that were more like ants on those little farms you could buy. and as the sun was setting, all buildings started to light so it became even more magnificent, but sadly most people started going off the roofs of the tiny building around the giant. Afterward, I and my family watched the sun set into the distance from the highest point of Bangkok.

FNaF Lore cuz Idk why
so it all starts with William Afton, and his buddy named Henry. Afton was a dad, had a daughter named Elizabeth, a son named Micheal, and an unnamed (probably had a name, was just never brought up) younger child, who is known as a crying child, due to his constant crying in literally any situation. Now Afton and his buddy were geniuses that somehow created machinery centuries ahead of its time (fnaf starts in the 1980-the 2000s), and start a new diner which had two functional kiddie entertaining robots, those being forebear (a bear), spring Bonnie (a bunny), and the security puppet (a marionette). Considering the number of restaurants that existed, they were pretty successful. now another thing to mention, is that Afton (and only Afton) is also a psychotic murderer, and murdered what is possibly his first kiddie victim, although maybe not, some voice lines in UCN prove that chica (Susie) was the first victim. But this is the first victim shown in the game at least, maybe he killed Susie but only did (stuff that is spoiling to the plot later on) after animatronics were able to be used, with that out of the way, mofo killed his buddy Henry’s daughter for some damn reason, his actions may or may not have a purpose, but yet again, that’s later. There definitely was a security puppet, but the kiddies inside the diner had seemed to use her (probably the puppet’s gender) aesthetic design against her, stacking boxes on the giant present she peeks out of to check the area, of which she was able to push off, yet a bit too late considering the kiddies locked out Henry daughter (I forgot her name sorry lol), of which gave Afton a perfect time to kill. The puppet then went outside in search of her, of which it was raining, and since the puppet was an early design, water screwed her up, which she broke down while laying near (Henry’s daughter) corpse, which seemed to somehow get her to possess the puppet. Now I could be screwing this all up, and it may have happened in the revamped location which is until later, but my brain isn’t functioning properly considering it’s 2:48 AM rn and I am doing this from memory. With that out, now we go to the crying child’s pov. He was severely bullied by his older brother who would terrorize him with a mask of the future face of foxy, for no (yet) explained reason. Another thing to mention is he had an attraction to Fred’s, yet was also terrified by it, and would at times try to sneak into Fred’s without his father’s permission. He had some weird ass plush of Faz bear that would talk to him in full-length sentences To prevent this, Afton had the genius idea to use genius tech ahead of even modern times, on his child, and make him have horrific hallucinations/nightmares of the future Freddy gang, and of forebear, to deter him from trying to go back there, and that fazbearbplush? It seemed to be controlled with a microphone or something that William would talk to him or something like that. this didn’t seem to work, and for some odd reason, Afton thought it would be a cool idea to also have his birthday party there. Micheal was also there, and with some of his own buddies, and they all had the great idea of grabbing the crying child and putting him inside of Fred bears jaw so that he could “kiss him”, which caused his frontal lobe to get bitten off, or something like that, and no, this is NOT the bite of 87, since it happened in the year 83(television showing the show “Fred bear and friends” proves this). now, it is uncertain if the crying child died or survived, and for some time it was considered that he was the protagonist we play as, of which is now false, but it seems to point towards him dying, and semi-possessing Golden Freddy. Now, another thing to mention is that his sister may or may not have died before him, but I am currently not functioning and have no clue which goes first.
