Blog 3 :
Day - Tuesday Date - 07/02/2023
Time - 10:37 a.m. Place - New Delhi
Hey everyone!! Hope you're all doing well. I am certainly doing great. Why? I'll tell you that.
So, as I've already said in my first blog I'm into singing. On the 5th of February 2023, I got my first big gig. I got a chance to perform my first live concert. Yeah, you read it right. And oh god, was it surreal.
Being an Alumni from Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Pitampura, I got a chance to perform at Indira Gandhi Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The name of the event was "DAV United". Teachers, students and alumni from all the branches of DAV in India were present, along with famous personalities who are alumni of DAV as well. Kartik Aryan, Maninder Bhuttar, Milind Gaba, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and many more celebrities were present there.
Talking about my performance, I did two. One was a Karaoke one the other was an open mic. The songs I chose were Bollywood retro songs sung by the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Songs like Dum maaro dum, Hungama ho gya, Ye mera dil yaar ka deewana and many more.
Fun fact about me - I have a tendency to get stage fright. But standing on that stage, in front of thousands of people, it all made sense. The vibe, the fun, the music, the rhythm and the people were all making sense. In that moment I felt that this is where belong and the stage is mine. Once I started singing, the crowd started singing with me, and that made me so confident.

This is one of the pictures from the concert. I felt bold, confident, cheerful and all packed up with good vibes.
I am very grateful for my music teacher, who found me capable enough to represent my school in front of so many people. Can't wait for more such opportunities, because now, there's no-one stopping me.
That's all for this blog. Until next time.
Love and Peace

Blog 2 :
Day - Friday Date - 03/02/2023
Time - 10:22 p.m. Place - New Delhi
Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well. I've had quite a lazy start to the day. It was so cold when I woke up that I stayed in bed longer than I planned on. This weather makes me a couch potato.
So, as I told I haven't decided on a specific theme for my blogs I'll write about something interesting that comes to my mind. I'm thinking of telling you all a review/summary of one of the books that was quite trending on tik-tok and Instagram. The book I'm gonna talk about today is "It Ends With Us" by Collen Hoover.
Talking about the characters of the book, there are a few main characters and then a few supporting ones. There's Lily Bloom, Atlas Corrigon, Ryle Kincaid, Marshall, Allysa, Lily's Mom, Lily's Dad.
Summary:
Lily who witnessed her mother getting abused by her father all her life and feeling helpless to do anything about it. Determined to live her life on her terms, she moves to Boston and it is here that she meets Dr. Ryle Kincaid. Charismatic and decadently handsome, he is a man who looks like he stepped straight out of a men's magazine. They hit it off straight away but Ryle is against relationships and Lily doesn't do one-night stands. However, with time they come closer. Life is good, too good but then one incident leaves this perfection of a life in pieces. Faced with heartbreaking situations and hard decisions, Lily has to decide if It Ends With Us.
Review:
A book that broke my heart and then stitc it back together, adored It Ends With Us. It's a story that is all too common and familiar yet forbidden to be discussed and addressed. This is a brave attempt by Collen to bring forth an honest and unbiased picture of people who do and of people to whom these things happen. We often hear incidents like the ones discussed in this book but how many times does anyone truly understand the inner struggles of the people involved and their helplessness to get out because they don't have the support from friends, family, and society.
Without revealing the plot, will just say that Colleen takes up two major social issues and brings them to light in a new perspective.
That's all for today's Blog. Until next time.
P.s. - It's finally Fridayyyy!!!!
Love and Peace

Blog 1 :
Day - Wednesday Date - 1st Feb 2023
Time - 08:27 p.m Place - New Delhi
Hey everyone! I am Samriddhi Agarwal. I'm about to turn 20 soon. I am residing in Delhi for the past 6 years now but I was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. I'm a graduate student from the University of Delhi. The course I'm pursuing is BA programme (HDFE and Sociology). Well for those who don't know HDFE is Human Development and Family Empowerment.
Af first I thought, I won't go to the details, but now I've certainly changed my mind. So, let me begin from the start. Being from Kolkata, I've always been asked the stereotypical question whether I'm a Bengali or not. So clearing that out, I'm not a Bengali but a marwadi.
Coming to academics, my plan wasn't on studying the course I am doing right now. I wanted to do English Honours, but due to certain glitches or I don't know technical issues with the CUET system, my preference list got rearranged and I got this course. This must have happened to many of you I'm sure (If you're from the 2021-2022 batch). So, now my future plan in to do my masters in English, my PhD and then give the NET exam. So yeah, I basically want to be a teacher/professor.
Talking about my hobbies, I'm all into arts. Be it singing, dancing, sketching, doodling, painting and so on. I love reading books and binge watch. I do write at times, but it's mostly when I'm filled with a certain type of feeling. I just have this habit of writing things out to calm myself (again might be relatable to quite a few people).
This being my first blog, is an introductory one. To be honest I am writing blogs for my assignment. So, I haven't decided on a specific theme for my blogs per say. Let's say I'll be spontaneous. I'll keep my blogs interesting and will be flexible with the theme. I'm sure the ones from my age group might find things relatable as well.
Being and extrovert, I feel like this might turn out good, and I actually might start doing this on a weekly or atleast monthly basis. I will love to interact with you all, might as well make new friends haha.
Not gonna say more for today. Until next time.
Love and Peace
