How to commission me

Hello! My name’s Marieta, aka. Kai and I’m a self-taught artist. I draw in manga style and even if I try something else, I always somehow swing back to manga.

I’m open to commissions most of the time so don’t hesitate to message me about it. Generally:

Reposting, stealing, taking without credit/permission is strictly forbidden.

What I definitely don’t do:  - completely naked people  - explicit smut/violence - if other, I’ll tell you in advance

What I do: - Manga portrait of you - I’ll need a photo for reference. I’ll do my best for it to resemble the original person but remember manga is always different. If you want realistic, I’m not your artist. - Fanart - just tell me the anime and the character - Character design - if you send me description and/or reference - Your voice - I have some form of synesthesia, so if you send me a voice record, I could *try* to put it on paper - Form, size, colouring is all to your choosing

How I do it: - Pencil sketches [example] [example] [example] - Ink sketches (digital and hand-inked) [example] [example] [example]  - Clean digital lineart (which you can use to colour yourself) - Digitally coloured pictures (Photoshop) [coloured pencil] [full digital]

My fav picture of the whole thing is the one with the bubble background. Mari is so in love and Adrien is so in awe <3

Cwn you do a part 2 to are you healous

I’m not intending to have a sequel. For me this piece a completed one-shot. 

However if someone drops me an idea of how to continue and it inspires me, I might draw it. That goes for all my drawings. =3

Have you guys read Something in the Night by @konekat? Well, I thought I’d torture myself some more with another ongoing thing, but the hell, it turned out to be so captivating!! *w* If you haven’t read it, I don’t know what the heck you’re waiting for. 

It’s amazing though, in the Miraculous Ladybug fandom I found out such incredible writers that are more talented than a lot of people who’ve actually been published. And I’m eternally grateful to the fact that these Incredible WritersTM put so much effort into their stories, that they put them up for nerds like me to read and that they inspire me this much.  

Really, honestly, personally to @konekat, thank you for writing. This fanart is for you, hope you like it. <3

Commission: Wedding invitation in manga style

The couple requested it half-jokingly but what they said remains burnt in my memory: “The more I look at it the more I like it.” =3 (I heard that line from many other people later on and I think it describes my art style well lol. But this is the case I remember most vividly because they aren’t even manga fans) They had it made into magnets and gave one to each of their guests.
