Harmony Hall.

Okay, so, it’s been like 3 months since I’m not posting here. Wow, for me it felt like more than half a year.

So what’s up? Running out of ideas? I assure you not. At the beggining of April I published these stories on Instagram, there’s mostly why I was away and “sadly” the reason why I haven’t post is all this time even thought I had many ideas that now are all forming a quite little big mess and I don’t even know where to begin again! (that’s a nice film)

On the time between that and now I’ve actually feel a “healing” process (omg how many “” I’m usign in this), with a few really bad days for my head but also a lot of cool things and time spended with friends and family too.

Even though I haven’t post in the blog, I’ve been more or less active on Instagram; all the ramdom content I created I did it there like hey! I disovered the origin of Fall Out Boy's name! I made a post about that on my Instagram profile but it’s written in Spanish and I thought on leave it here in English too as part of music/personal stuff

I also tried to change the design of the blog and tried to create diferent buttons as a way to classify my posts in different sections like: music, fashion and personal or something like that. I havent found a way (I dont understand much HTML and the desig I already have doesn’t support what I was trying to make) However, if you go to ARCHIVE you can find the post clasificated by tags (as well as date, for example).

Aaaaand, I think this post it’s almost done! I’ve been wanting to finish it for some weeks now but it turns out that my internet was quite limited this month and I only could propoerly use it at my parent’s home. AH! I almost forgot!

Among all music that has been released during these months, there’s new Vampire Weekend’s album Father of the Bride. One day I was listening to some of their new songs and found myself kinda smiling in the subway to this. I dont wanna life like this but I don’t wanna die. That sums up pretty well the way I have feel sometimes. I’m happy to say I’m feling better lately and I’ll be here to post all the radom stuff I haven’t (MET Gala one month later? Maybe) and everything new that comes to my mind.

Done! I didn’t want to post this at the beggining of summer and that’s it! It’s still spring! Almost! It’s 23:52 in my country!

Happy birthday, Mark Hoppus!

Yeah, this times is all about birthdays. Doesn’t it happens to you that at specific times of the year it is like is the birthday of lot o people near you?

But I’m not here just to talk about births! Okay, maybe the birth of Simple Creatures; the new duo formed by Mark Hoppus and Alex Gaskarth (from blink-182 and All Time Low, respectively)

How they came to life? (Omg, when a Mark and...)

As Mark says on an interview for AltPress, he felt into an awful depression when he got home after been touring with blink-182 and his wife suggest him to go into his studio and make music, which is what makes him happy so he decided to make a record with some friends and the first one he called was Alex and they wrote a song, and the next day they wrote another song and another... they just clicked, had chemistry, Mark never got to call anybody else  and both Alex and him end up making music they enjoyed with no pressure and decided to make it a thing. True studio love story.

Their first song, Drug, came out this winter and it was a total wowh for me. The sound had nothing to do with blink-182; that’s my favourite band but hey, it is already invented, give me something different Mark Hoppus. And despite it doesn’t sound a lot like All Time Low either, it reminds me a bit more to them than to blink-182; I think it's like when Alex sings, I can relate those lyrics a bit more with what he usually sings in All Time Low  but when Mark does, it doesn’t remind me of his other projects at all. Here’s some trash pop everyone!

(I love the guitar at the beginning) That push me pull me down gives me a lot of All Time Low vibes; please, tell me I’m not the only one.

About a month alter; they released a second song; Strange Love, with a music video in which they appear but I felt nothing, any emotions... however! Their first EP comes out next March 29 so I hope those 4 new songs worth it! We’ll know in just a pair of weeks!

Like cake on my birthday

Hey hey! Today’s my birthday! (on 11 March beacasue I had problems uploadig this and now is past midnight)

So, I thought; which better opportunity to share my love for this video? (just briefly)

I wanted to make a post when this came out but I didn’t and I really wanted to put this video on my blog since I thought it would look so good!

This song was stuck in my head during all last summer and is still so catchy for me, the kind of song which I wouldn’t clasificate as one of the best but definitely one that cheers me up everytime.

And what about the music video?

Pastel bright colors everywhere! Cake cake cake! And  “friendly” panda.

I totally love the colours of the video, it is once again directed by P.Tracy as all the series of music videos for Last Young Renegade album but it has a whole dirferent aesthetic, well, not the same era.

Wouldn’t it be nice to hav a birthday party in a room like that? And even nicer with All Time Low (without explosives)

As I said today’s my birthday (now there is just one hour left for the day to be over) I’m turning 22 today... all those years singing to that Taylor Swift’s song and that time is here! It feels strange ‘cause I know next year I wont be that age anyore and neither looking to ir someday but for now, let’s enjoy! (and that’s the kind of stupid little things I think)

Sold out boats - PUP

Hello everyone!

I'm here to inform that all the boats are sould out, all the boats sold out.

- What the heck are you talking about girl?

Like two weeks ago or so, I saw this on IG stories of the band PUP

- What the heck are they talking 'boooat? - I said to myself too

I loved that reference to Life Aquatic and went to look for what they were talking, were they actually selling boats? Boats!?

The answer is yes!

I haven't introduced to this band in my blog and I wanted to but this piece of news was too cool not to say it as soon as I could! For the ones who don't know them, PUP is a band from Canada who started his journey on 2013 and released a nice self-titled album that year, another album in 2016 and will be releasing a new one this April, they also have some great music videos (I specially like Dark days and DVP) and Finn Woldhard (Mike on Stranger Things) appears on a couple of them.

So, what heppens? That you can pre-order now the new album Morbid Stuff on their website but you've got more options: on CD, on vinyl, with a t-shirt, with a coloring book which is kinda cool or with a inflatable boat. You’ve read right. And the cooler thing is that the big kit that contains everything and particulary said boats is sold out!

I still don’t know the reason of this crazy cool idea adn I’m very curious about it. Among other things that come on pre-order option with cd or vynil, there’s also an annihilation preparedness kit which Includes a backpack, a waterproof container, a multi-tool cutlery set, and some actually very cute band-aids; you know, just the typical stuff you sell with your new album.

Bad things... about to happen

These 3 girls have released a new song recently and its definitely not what I expected.

At very first listen I was like; ookay, so much more towards girly pop without her previous kinda dark, grunge noisy side... (I described her sound on a previous post as kinda dark, grunge, kinda noisy girly pop) Honestly, I wasn’t totally getting the song, I mean,I know bands change and experiment new sounds but even with that in my mind I felt there was something missing. As I also wasn’t paying total attention to the lyrics i read them... and now everything fixed!

It’s like in 1984 except that s#*t$ not fictional. They’ve got us under mind control. Warnings are loud and clear but you don’t listen and you don’t see, this wasn’t how it’s meant to be. Bad things, bad things about to happen.

What kind of sound could you imagine matching these lyrics?

Maybe something like punk rock, for example? (maybe it isn’t I don't know you!)

I think that the message of the lyrics wouldn’t have the same power with a stronger melody or a “depressive” one but that’s what we’re used to! In here the stronger part is the chorus but the rest I think is kinda soft and if you don’t pay attention to the lyrics at all you might even think they’re singing something sweet.

I can be wrong since I haven't written the song but I took it as a critic to society nowadays.

The point society has gone were so many things seem so fake, mostly all population is under control, almost everything and everybody is internet connected which can be good and useful most of the time but that’s also another form of having everything in hands of someone else. Part of the reality we’re living now might sound like a science-fi novel or film back then or even now. Not just the technological part, but the open-mindedness. It’s illogical how there’s still so much hate and discrimination for being from another race, sexuality or even gender. No, it isn’t how it was supposed to be! It was supposed that by 2019 there would be more equally and in fact, there is, some progress in certainly made of course but on the other hand, we’re getting back to issues that not long ago seemed that they were fading and it’s like we’re getting back to past bad things. And, sadly, some people don´t care, don't see it. No hahaha I don’t have in mind 24/7 oooh our society problems omg the world is going craaazy (like that SP song) no, I’m not that way by far! but I just think is good to get informed sometimes and most important, have our own opinion about the things we see or read. Please, think, don't just go with the flow and create your own opinion about the topics, don’t be a robot.

On another point; I wasn’t getting the same exact message in the chorus. Always telling us that we’re wrong, we’re sick of it, I just want to feel I belong. Following the topic of the rest of the song (more or less) I could interpret it as the kind of disapproval and idea some more grown-up or elder people have of younger generations, of lets called it “millenials” or even younger. And well, it’s pretty sad when people think you are x way just because it’s like the image they have or the image society projects of a certain group of people although reality is that everyone would be different and; while some people might stick to said stereotype, some others might have another mindset and they (we?) would like to be accepted as an equal, not feeling excluded for the simple fact of being young and, therefore, as some might think, less wiser or even disrespectful!

Estas tres chicas (Hey Charlie) han sacado una nueva canción hace poco y definitivamente no es lo que esperaba.

La primera vez que la fui a oirla estaba yo como:ookay, mucho más hacía girly pop sin su anterior lado más grunge, oscuro, fuerte... (describí el estilo de Hey Charlie en un post anterior como kinda dark,grunge, kinda noisy girlie pop). Sinceramente no estaba entendidodel todo la canción osea, se que los gruposcambian y exploradn nuevos sonidos pero incluso coneso en mente había algo que me faltaba. Como tampoco estaba ponieno mucha atención en escuchar la letra fui a leerla... ¡y ahora todo encajaba!

Es como en 1984 solo que esta mierda no es ficción. Nos tienen bajo control mental.Las señales de alarma están altas y claras pero no escuchas y no lo ves, esto no es como se suponía que iba a ser. Están apunto de ocurrir cosas malas.

¿Qué tipo de sonido imaginas que irá con esta letra?

Quizá algo punk rock, por ejemplo? (alomejor no es esa tu respuesta, no te conozco!)

Creo que el mensaje de la letra de esta canción no tendría el mismo efecto con una melodía más fuerte o con una melodía “depresiva”, eso es a lo que ya estamos aconstumbrados! Aquí el estribillo si que es más fuerte pero el resto es suave y si no prestas atencón a la letra puede incluso parecer que esté cantando algo dulce, bonito.

Puedo equivocarme ya que yo no he escrito la canción pero la he entendido como una especie de crítica a la sociedad de hoy en día.

El punto al que ha llegado la sociedad en el que tantas cosas parecen falsas, la mayoría de la población está como bajo control ya que casi todo y todos estamos conectados a través de Internet; cosa que puede ser buena y útil en la mayoría de los casos pero es también otra forma de que todo esté bajo las manos de alguien más. Parte de la realidad que estamos viviendo ahora podría sonar hace años (o incluso ahora) como sacado de una novela de ciencia ficción o una película. No solo por la parte de la tecnología sino también por la mentalidad de las personas. Es ilógico como puede seguir habiendo tanto odio y discriminación por ser de otra raza, sexualidad o incluso género (y por otras tantas cosas). No, así no es como se supone que iba a ser! Se suponía que para 2019 habría más igualidad y de hecho la hay claro, bastante progreso se ha hecho pero por otra parte estamos un poco volviendo a tener presentes problemas que hace no tanto tiempo atrás estaban desapareciendo y es omo si estuvesemos volviendo a las cosas malas del pasado. Y, tristemente, a alguna gente le da todo igual, no ven nada. No, jajaja mi mente no está a toda horas diciendo -oooh los problemas de la socidad el mundo se está volviendo loco- no, no soy para nada así! solamente pienso que es bueno informarse de ve en cuadno y más importante, tener nuestra propia opinión respecto a las osas que vemos o leemos. Por favor, pensad, no os dejeis sencillamente llevar con la multitud y cread vuestra propia opinión de las cosas, no seais robots.

Por otra parte; el estribillo no me trasnmitía del todo el mismo mensaje que el resto de la canción. Always telling us that we’re wrong, we’re sick of it, I just want to feel I belong. Siempre diciéndonos que estamos equivocadas, estamos hartas, solo quiero sentir que pertenezco. Siguiendo un poco el tema del resto de la canción (más o menos) se podría interpretar como la desaprobación y la idea (errónea) que algunos adultos o personas más mayores tienen de las generaciones más jóvenes (por ejemplo de los “millenials” u otras generaciones aún más jóvenes). Y, en fin, es algo triste cuando cierta gente te tacha de ser de x manera solo porque es la imagen que tienen o la imagen (estereotipo) que la sociedad proyecta sobre ciertos grupos de gente aunque la realidad sea que cada uno es diferente y; mientras unos puede que encajen un poco más dentro del estereotipo a veces creado, otros tendrán otra mentalidad y les (nos?) gustaría ser aceptados como iguales, no sentirse excluídos por el simple heho de ser más jóvenes y por lo tanto; como algunos pensarían, menos sabios, o incluso irrespetuosos, por ejemplo.

¡Y hasta aquí mi reflexión!

SWMRS.

Hey hey hey, what’s up?

It’s been much time since I wanted to write about this band that the’ve released new stuff! But I’m gonna begin from.. well.. the beggining.

SWMRS are a band from Oakland formed in... well! first there was Emily's Army but I'll let that for another post 🤗

So, SWMRS are a band from Oakland that released their first album (first album as SWMRS) in 2016. Drive North. and are about to release a new album in just a few weeks!

But, who are them? Cole Becker is the soon recognisable voice you hear singing, Max Becker does his good job as lead guitar, Seb Mueller plays the bass! and Joey Armstrong.. wait! That's sounds like he may be the son of the first man on the moon? No! But the son from Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day... yes! That’s right! and he’s the drummer!

They have their own record label called Uncool Records; they released the album previously mentioned, Drive North, under that label but months later they sign to Fueled By Ramen and re-launched the album with two more songs apparently.

Wanna know their sound? Go listen them! Here I let 4 songs to trying to decribe their style (in their Facebook page they said its genre is hawaiiange x)

Figuring It Out was how I discovered them, it’s maybe their most pop-punk kind of side.

This became one of my special songs at first listen. The lyrics (and music) are lovely, it’s calm, maybe the same type of calm there is after a summer storm; that’s what this song is for me. It has a music video but the lyric video fitted better in here and with my feelings for this songs since the other one has no much relation to the lyrics and the feeling(or I think so); however it’s a funny video and pleasant to watch thanks to its color palette with pastel tones and its art and I reccomend you to watch it!

Louder. This is way louder and faster than the others, more energic even though I think they are a powerful band in every song and every sense. Songs like this are probably my favourite type of songs.

If you listen this one after the one above, well, different, more chilled, right? An upbeat, happy, indie mood that kind of transport you (or me) to a beach, or a fresh evening at the end of summer.

Special mention to my personal favourites: Miley and Uncool. Both songs are included in the Drive North album but were previously released in an EP in 2015 called Miley with those said 2 songs.

Hope you like SWMRS or at least any of their songs! I did not talked about the latest songs since therey dropping the whole new album in two weeks so here I’ll be when that happen!

Hace tanto tiempo que llevo queriendo escribir spobre este grupo que incluso han sacado canciones nuevas! Pero empecemos por el principio.

SWMRS son un grupo de Oakland.. bueno, primero estaba Emily’s Army pero dejaré eso para otra entrada.

Figuring It Out - Es la canción con que los descubrí, quizá su lado más pop-punk.

Lose it - Se convirtió en una de mis canciones “especiales” desde la primera vez que la escuché. La letra ( y la música) es preciosa, calma, pero es el tipo de calma de despué de una tormenta de verano. Sí, eso es esta canción para mi. El video que he pusto es el lyric video porque el videoclip no me trasmite lo que me trasmite la letra y la música por separadado osea no tiene mucho que ver el vídeo con la canción en sí pero recomiendo que lo veaias si os apetece porque es divertido y agradable de ver gracias a sus colores y el arte.

Harry Dean - Más rápida, enérgica y ruidosa. Me encantan este tipo de caniones y sobre todo las de este grupo.

Turn Up - Si escuchas esta despúes de haber escuchado la canción anterior, bueno, diferente, más relajada ¿verdad? Una melodía y un carácter más desenfadado, alegre, indie que de cierto modo quizá trasnporte (a mi al menos) a una playa o a una a una tarde al final del verano.

Mención especial a mis favoritas: Miley y Uncool. Ambas canciones están incluídas en el album Drive North pero salieron antes las 2 en forma de EP en 2015 llamado Miley.

Espero que os guste SWMRS o al menos alguna de sus canciones! No he hablado de sus últimas canciones ya que están apunto de sacar el nuevo album en 2 semanas por lo que estaré aquí cuadno eso ocurra!

Hi weirdos! What’s up?

Nothing, just that I’m super excited with new Gerard Way’ song.

Halloween has past but this post stills making sense, right? (RIGHT?!) because, who doesnt like a spooky good song any time of the year?

Baby, you’re a hunted house by Gerard Way is the Halloween surprise no one expected and, at least for me, one of the best. Yes, I love Halloween and Gerard Way, just put them even more together.

The simple but great videoclip/lyric video was directed by Claire Vogel; who had work before with MCR on the Dancger Days videos and whose Instagram account I’m gonna leave here - @oclaire - because she’s a photographer too and maybe you like her colorful lovely pictures as I did!

I’d like to add that the bass line for this song was recorded by Mikey Way, former bassist for My Chemical Romance and Gerard’s brother.

I’m running to ask you, did you achieved what you wanted to do?

Today’s the day. Finally. I’m back.

After losing a post I made like a month ago explaining why I didn’t post in all summer even I had lots of ideas I wanted to share and blah blah, because I did, now I don’t feel like telling my life reasons again so here I come with the stuff. (Well, now Marta, let’s save this post to continue writing later..hoping it doesn’t get deleted)

Today I heard my Summer of 2018 playlist for the first time. Like, every summer, I made a playlist brick by brick: including songs that mark some moments with friends, feelings situations, special songs, or simply random songs I’ve been playing non-stop all summer long.

Well, as I said, I’m listening it for the first time today and is making me so happy! Honestly I feel happy today but the playlist just adds some more excitement and surprisingly it kinda matches my outfit! (Yes, I’m here for two reasons; music and fashion)

So here’s my look!

I said surpringsisly because that look is total 70s vibes for me or late 60s and the playlist is not very much that style as you’d see!.

Those brown shoes are my mum’s!

Sweater from Zara from a couple of years ago but I think there still are similar ones with pearls at the end of the sleeve.^^

And the playlist of course! Is at the top of the post! (Wasn’t intended a reference but hey! If anyone got it tell me!)

It all started with the fisrt song of the new CHVRCHES album Love is dead and then all of this:

Birthday, new All Time Low single got stuck in my head and I could be find singing I need you like cake on my birthday at least once a day; Time to pretend because it’s special to me and I saw MGMT in concert this summer; also some new realeses by Twenty One Pilots; High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco that gives me all the power right after waking up in the mornings, Miley by SWMRS because I freaking like that song; Youngblood, new hit by 5 Seconds Of Summer which I didn’t loved that much at first but end up in my head just by the end of summer and I can say for sure it stills and will be all autumn long; there’s a song from the album Infinity On High by Fall Out Boy ‘cause I fully listened again and it has such great songs; and Boomin’ in your Jeep by Crystal Fighters which was just okay for me but I enjoyed it so much live at the very end of summer at a music festival (special mention too to Thunderclouds by LSD, thanks to my dear friend George)

Those and a few more songs are part of the music that made my Summer 2018 Hope you can enjoy the songs too even they aren’t part of your summer :)

I just wanted to be one of The Strokes, now look at the mess that you made me do...

Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, what a name! How was the new Arctic Monkeys album going to be? Well, just some minutes into it I see how well it suits that crazy name.

First song and I feel myself entering at the classy bar of some high elite hotel, maybe not so high. There are only few people and the barman is cleaning some glasses. Alex Turner is jocking around with his friends as the alcohol comes and goes. Third song and you are already part of the usual gang of the hotel nights. Anyone feel it like I did?

Two weeks ago, on their release date, the internet was on fire with the new album, half kinda disgusted, half kinda understanding.

Clearly is that this one is far away from the others and despite someone can like it or not I think it's lovely music made with care and a nice taste like all their other ones; they just simply evolve in every different album.

Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino... ¡vaya nombre! ¿Cómo iba a ser el nuevo album de Arctic Monkeys? Bueno, solo unos minutos oyéndolo me doy cuenta lo bien que le queda ese extraño nombre...

Primera canción y me siento como entrando en el cásico y elegante bar de algún hotel de alta élite, o quizá de no tan alta. Hay solo unas pocas personas y el camarero está limpiando vasos detrás de la barra. Alex turner no para de bromear y hacer e ltonto con sus amigos mientras el alcohol va y viene. Tercera canción y ya eres parte de la clientela habitual de las noches del hotel. ¿Alguien más se sintió como yo la primera vez (u otra) vez que escuchó el album?

Nada más publicarse el nuevo album internet ardió; una parte estaba medio digustada (o del todo) mientras que otra parte comprendía el cambio.

Está claro que este disco es bastante diferente a los anteriores y, apesar de que a alguien le pueda gustar o no, yo creo que es música bonita hecha con cariño y buen gusto al igual que todos sus otros trabajos, simplemente evolucionan de uno a otro.

But apart from that, the truth is it makes me kinda :/ because there goes some of my favourite items, those that make that cupboard warmer 😉 and myself happier 'cause most of my fall/winter clothes are timeless and that's because they're my favourite: I've been owning some for years, others are really new from this winter but I know those new pieces are gonna stay with me for the next winters since it's a style I don't think I'll ever gonna get tired or it's gonna be not fashionable.

That grey oversized woolly sweater in the picture is from Zara and it is my new favourite from this winter and I realised I wore it less than I would like but when I did it was fun to me. My favourite outifit was wearing it with transparent black tights, a nice pair of black heeled boots and a ponytail or a messy bun for a most laid back, comfy look.

[This pic below was for Instagram stories so it has that text and it was when I didn't have my mirror hanging on the wall so I didn't fit in the and I had to make weird poses! I remember I was having fun, it was a Christmas present I got from Los Reyes Magos.]

I'm not saying I don't like spring/summer clothes, I actually love them too, but I'm gonna leave that for another post.

Es hora de meter en la maleta mi ropa más de invierno para llevarla a casa y es algo que en parte tenía ganas de hacer. En el piso que estoy viviendo ahora mismo tengo un armario normal y algunos cajones para toda mi ropa asique quería liberar algo de espacio porque, para poder más o menos ver y tener todo accesible, tiene que estar colocado al milímetro.

Pero aparte de eso, la verdad es que me hace sentir un poco :/ porque tengo que quitar algunas de mis prendas favoritas, esas que hacen de mi armario algo más cálido ;) y a mí algo más feliz porque la mayoría de mi ropa de otoño/invierno me parece atemporal y por eso es por lo que es de mi ropa favorita: algunas prendas las tengo desde hace años, otras son bastante nuevas; de este invierno, pero se que las más nuevas estarán conmigo los próximos inviernos ya que tienen un estilo del que creo que nunca me cansaré y que tampoco pasará generalmente de moda.

El jersey oversize de lana gris que veis en la foto, es de Zara y es mi nuevo favorito de este invierno aunque me he dado cuenta, que me lo he puesto un poco menos de lo que me hubiera gustado pero, cuando me lo he puesto ha sido divertido. Mi look favorito con el que ponerme este jersey es con un par de medias negras medio transparentes, unas buenas botas negras con algo de tacón y una coleta alta,auqnue un moño despeinado (a messy bun) también le da un toque desenfadado y cómodo.

[Más arriba he subido una foto que en su día subí a Instagram stories (por eso que tenga ese texto, tampoco quise quitarlo). Aún no tenía mi espejo colgado en la pared de la habitación asique tenía que hacer poses raras para salir entera x) Recuerdo que cuando hice esa foto me lo estaba pasando bien, el jersey fue un regalo de reyes y lo estrenaba ese día] :)

No digo que no me guste la ropa de primavera/verano; en realidad me encanta, pero eso lo dejaré para otra entrada.

Este post llega con un par de semanas de retraso pero aún no es tarde para dar la bienvenida a mi playlist de primavera!

Hace unos 4 años, en 2014 creé una playlist llamada Spring. 

En ese momento estaba muy feliz y salieron varias canciones nuevas que escuchaba mucho y me encantaban, me ponían aún de mejor humor. Para mí sonaban a comienzo de buen tiempo, comienzo de algo nuevo, sonaban a tardes de salir al sol y a felicidad.

Es una playlist que me motiva bastante, qué me ayuda a ser productiva y a centrarme a veces, como sabiendo que después de estos últimos días de estudios etc. llegarán cosas mejores ( o distintas) el verano, tiempo libre.. 

En ella la mayoría son canciones por las qué me ha dado escuchar en ese momento de primavera, canciones mas o menos nuevas de ese año o nuevas para mi. La mayoría las he ido añadiendo primavera tras primavera, el resto del año no suelo añadir nada a esta playlist, salvo quizá que una canción me recuerde mucho a la sensación esta primaveral que cuento antes jaja. 

Quería compartirla ahora al principio de la estación (aunque ya llevemos un mes) y otra vez cuando acabé la primavera y ver cuántas y qué canciones he añadido este año. Hope you like it!  (btw, ya hay una canción este año pues la añadí el primer día)

The tour is over, we’ll survive.

When I saw this picture like two a couple of months ago or so, Adam’s song was suddenly playing in my head. The tour was over, we’d survived.

As soon as I read this is the last year of Warped Tour, I looked for flights to the USA  (I’m from Spain) and they were kinda expensive for me.

Music means a lot to me and punk and its derivatives (mostly pop-punk) have a special place in my heart. I’ve loved everything it surrounds since I was like 10 years old: fun times with people, skateboarding, finding some kind of happiness even in the darkest times...Well, I guess all those feelings came to me because I had to read it (that this was the last tour) just when I was spending the weekend at my parents home, in my town, where, as a pre-adolescent and part of my teenage years I used to dream about going to Warped tour some day in the future.That was the place where every new band I listened to had played or was gonna play another year. Since NOFX or Green Day in the early years of the festival to All Time Low or Neck Deep on the latest editions. 

Always I’ve been to a concert of this kind of music I got a general feeling of community, of support. It is kinda special to sing out loud all those lyrics you sang and read and feel once and once again alone in your room but this time surrounded by lots of people singing the same as you but maybe with different meanings for every of them. (One song, 1 hundred thousand diffent expeciences/meanings)

I just wanted to share this ‘cause I didn´t expected such a thoughfull moment, it kinda felt at the moment I read the news like the end of an era or something. Maybe it’s not that much but I don´t know, it was special.

It was cool that many bands and a whole festival toured arond USA with concerts in lots of cities during the summer.

Next year it’s the 25th anniversary of Vans Warped Tour and they want to do something to commemorate it, as it says Kevin Lyman, founder of the Warped Tour. I’m sure they will find a good way to celebrate it and make people have a great time again.

But for now I wish everyone enjoy this last year tour line-up which includes bands such as Bowling for Soup, Pennywise, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, Less than Jake, Four Year Strong, Simple Plan, Tonight Alive, 3OH!3, Waterparks or The Used among so many other amazing artist.

Hey Charlie

Hey! Charlie?  Is there any Charlie reading this?

Well, well, well, I wanted to start the series of post about girl bands with this one beacuse I thought about showing them to you on my blog since I discovered them ‘cause I loved it.

Hey Charlie is formed by 3 british girls: Lizz, Sophie and Lauren. The first thing that impresed me about this band was their look: all the members had a very very similiar hairdo and wore the same outfit (one that I loved I have to say). That was the first thing because I went to YouTube to listen to them so I get to see them before listen to their music. And when I did, I got sooo impresed too… they were great! Something different, with a cool personality. Kinda dark, grunge kinda noisy girly pop; a combination I really love.

Hey, their first single came out this summer and not long ago they’ve released their fist EP, Young and Lonesome which features 4 good songs: Young and Lonesome, Hey, Cheer Up Princess and She looks like a dreamer.

Hey Charlie are now supporting All Time Low on their European tour something that I’d be so glad to do if I were in a band, lucky girls! I hope lot of people would love this band as much as I do.

Belive in the power of girl bands!

Hey! ¿Charlie? ¿Hay algún Charlie leyendo esto?

Bueno, quería empezar la serie de post sobre grupos de chicas con Hey Charlie porque quería enseñaoslo en mi blog desde que las descubrí porque me encantaron.

Hey Charlie son una banda inglesa formada por 3 chicas; Lizz, Sophie and Lauren. Lo primero que me llamó la atención sobre ellas fue su look: todas tenían un peinado muy muy similar y llevaban el mismo conjunto (el cual me encantó por cierto). Eso fue lo primero que me impresionó porque fui a escucharlas a YouTube la primera vez asique las vi antes de oir su música. Y cuando lo oí me impresionó bastante también...eran geniales! Diferente con una personalidad guay. Something kinda dark, grunge, kinda girly noisy pop; una combinación que me encanta.

Hey!, su primer single salió este verano y no mucho después fue publicado su primer EP, Young and Lonesome el cual incluye 4 canciones: Young and Lonesome, Hey, Cheer up Princess and She looks like a dreamer.

Hey Charlie están ahora de gira por Europa como teloneras de All Time Low, algo que a mi me encantaría hacer si estuviera en un grupo; ¡qué suerte tienen! :)

Espero que a más gente le guste este grupo tanto como a mi.

Friday. 2nd June. Last young renegade.

Hey dear someone, All Time Low again! :)

I was on YouTube like hey yesterday All Time Low uploaded a new song and today another one? Wow, they’re gonna upload all the album one by one if they continue like this… wait… it’s today! Today is 2nd June, the release date of the new album!

Yes, Last Young Renegade is out today and I’m gonna listen to it now. The song I was about to listen in YouTube was ‘Ground Control’ (feat. Tegan and Sara) and I choose to listen this one ‘cause those are the girls who sing.. EVERYTHING IS AWESOMEEEE!! :D yep, Lego Movie.

Anyone has listen to the whole album? What’s your opinion?
