Indulge in the smoky, sweet, and savory flavors of this delicious burger featuring a juicy beef patty topped with smoked baked beans, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and more. It's a flavor explosion in every bite!
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 4 burger buns. 1 cup smoked baked beans. 4 slices of bacon, cooked crispy. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced pickles. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties. Place the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or to your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover until melted. While the burgers are cooking, in a small saucepan, combine the smoked baked beans, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce. Cook over medium heat until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly. Toast the burger buns on the grill or griddle until they're slightly crispy. To assemble the burgers, place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a spoonful of the smoked baked beans mixture, a slice of crispy bacon, some diced onions, and diced pickles. Add the top half of the bun, and your Smoked Baked Beans with Brown Sugar and Bacon Burger is ready to enjoy!

Despite the unusual ingredients used in their preparation, these ribs taste fantastic! They are very forgiving and not too difficult to make. To create them, though, requires a certain level of trust. Continue baking even if your mixture seems and feels like a terrible mistake. Even though I made these mistakes the first time, they were still delicious. My incredibly carnivorous husband even enjoyed them. They really stick to your ribs and are excellent comfort food.
