I think as Canadians we spend a lot of energy pretending that we are polite, comfortable with diversity, and most importantly, not Americans. I think today is a good day to reflect. The shooter is pleating not guilty to 2nd degree murder. He was granted bail. Why? Colten's family is asking for justice for this young indigenous man that had his whole life in front of him. He was training to become a fireman and was involved in his community church.
