Daesung walked into the living room of the spacious apartment, his slippers clip-clapping against the hard wood flooring, and yawned widely. He stretched his arms up over his head and then rubbed his face before smiling at his wife. Dara was sitting on the couch, sprawled out as much as her tiny frame could, and even when he approached her, she didn't move. She looked up and noticed him, making grabby hands, even though her mouth was full of fruit and her hands were covered in lotion, which she was applying to her body. He came over to the couch and sat down on the floor right beside it, smiling lightly up at her. "Guess what?"

"What?" she replied, smiling back at him.

"I just downloaded the neatest app. It's a baby developmental progress tracker." He excitedly pulled his phone out of his robe pocket and opened it up for her to see, probably way more excited than she was. "Check it out, its got a little 3D model and it tells you which parts of the baby are growing and which are already finished and askdjdff it's so cool!"

She chuckled at him, and leaned forward for a kiss, which he obliged, and continued putting lotion on. He took the lotion from her and started applying it himself onto her, talking really animatedly while doing this about how he was going to keep track from now on and be totally up to date on how the baby was. He rubbed the lotion over her baby bump, her belly button swelled out and almost-full, carefully covering the top and all around it. When he was done, he pulled her shirt down over it again and kissed it, leaning his cheek down against it. "When baby marshmallow gets here, I want to know everything about him," he smiled at her. "Well we already know he's cute. That's the most important part."

"Well yes, he gets his cuteness from you."

"But you're cuter than me!"

"Nope! You are!"

/kisses her lips hard and smiles against them, nodding happily when he pulls away/ Then it's settled. We can't go back. No going back~ /chuckles and kisses her again, keeping his hands in hers, and turns to pull her away from the windows, out of the observatory and into the elevator, where he spends most of the ride down hugging her and spamming her face and lips with kisses/ We'll go to a hotel. I have plenty of money, I hardly keep anything in a bank /laughs and leads her outside and then into the cable car, just as it's about to take off/ By the way... If you want to know what I wrote on my lock... /whispers it to you/

/she nods slowly, understanding what he meant and it’s been on her mind for a while, it was as though he could read her thoughts; giving his hands a light squeeze, she offered him a soft smile to reassure him/ Yes, I’d run away with you. Anywhere, as long as you’re with me. That’s enough. /lifting their hands, she plants a soft kiss on the back of his hand/ We’d have to come up with our plan then.

/smiles widely as she kiss his face and kisses her lips as well, cupping her cheeks in his hands to prolong the kiss for a few moments more; when his lips part from hers, he rubs them delicately against her cheek, whispering back/ I love you too. I love you now and forever. Always. /kisses her again and wraps his arms around her tightly/ Love... There's one more thing we need to talk about though. /holds both her hands and entwines his fingers with hers; he stares at her for a long moment, the light dimming in his eyes/ Noona... If we do this... we can't go back to YG. The fans and the CEO and everyone... They wouldn't let us get married- it'd kill our careers... and someone is bound to find out about us. /stops a moment to bite his lower lip/ Would you... consider... /looks down a moment before swallowing and looking up at her/ Would you run away with me?

/her grin widens when their foreheads meet again and she slowly rubs the tip of her nose against his, a soft chuckle escaping her lips as he started singing, her heart swelling up upon hearing his warm voice and the feeling of the cold metal against her skin; she entwines their fingers together, pressing gentle kisses all over his face while he kept singing, not wanting him to stop just yet and she sways along with him; once he reaches the end of the first verse, she can’t help but give him a long, hard kiss on the lips which makes him stop singing and she hopes he wouldn’t mind; she breaks the kiss to whisper softly/ I love you.

/his smile lights up his face and his chest feels like it's going to burst, but he nods back; for a moment he just stays there and they smile at each other, before finally he stands up and steps very close to her, close enough for him to lean his forehead against hers and nuzzle her nose; he very softly starts singing/ Baby I will be loving you 'til we're 70~ /takes your hand and fits the ring onto your finger/ Baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23, I'm thinking 'bout~ people fall in love in mysterious ways~ /holds up that same hand and wraps his other arm around her waist as he starts swaying with her, dancing and singing quietly to her/ Maybe just the touch of a hand. Well, me, I fall in love with you every single day, I just want to tell you I am. So honey now~~~ Take me into your loving arms. Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars~ /glances at the window/ Place your head on my beating heart, I'm thinking out loud. Maybe we found love right where we are~

/she covers her lips, unable to keep the wide smile off her face and she starts tearing up as he goes on with his speech, rather touched by the sincere words; it’s been a long run for them but it was worth it, this was worth it and she never regretted every single moment spent with him; as he reveals the ring and offers it to her, she cups her cheeks with both hands, still surprised by his proposal; she pats her face a little to ensure that she’s not dreaming, the action alleviating the ache in her cheeks since she’s smiling too much/ Oh Daesungie… /he’s left her speechless and all she could do is just nod eagerly in response to his question/

/blushes bright red and nods, gulping and licking his lips/ Dara. I've wanted to ask you this since forever ago, but I needed the right time- I needed to surprise you. /smiles widely/ I think it worked. Noona, there is no one else I would ever, ever want as close to me as you are, in this life, in the next, in a million others. You are the only one. You are my soulmate. It took me a very hard road to find you and now that I have, I don't ever want to let you go. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. I've hurt people I've cared about, including you, and made a lot of people very angry at me, but I think the biggest mistake I could ever make would be to live any longer without the promise... that you'll be my wife. Please say you will. /with shaking hands, he opens up the little box to reveal the diamond ring, pulling it out and offering it to her/

Sandara Park... Right here, between the earth and the sky, as close to the stars as we can get... Will you do me the honor of being mine and keeping me forever? Marry me.

/she claps at her own achievement and press her lips against his, smiling into the kiss; when he pulls away, she looks up at the star again, rubbing her hands along his forearms/ Of course it is, I’d be so heartbroken if it’s not there. /upon hearing his compliments, she gives out a soft chuckle/ Oh… you’re making me shy. /she blinks in confusion as he loosens his embrace, her lips jutting out in a pout because she wished the moment would’ve lasted longer; but then he’s suddenly on his knee and her eyes widen slightly, staring at him in disbelief/ This is- this is point 3?

/he stops looking at the sky and watches her, a light smile on his face as she searches, and thinks about how much he likes the way her eyebrows furrow or the way her fingers are shaped or how her hair is done; when she finds the star, his smile grows wider and he cheers/ Yaaaay, you got it righttt!! /comes over to her and kisses her hard, cupping her cheeks for a moment and then turns her back around towards the glass, so he can wrap his arms around her in a back hug/ It's still there, still shining. /nuzzles his nose in her hair/ I love you very much, you're perfect and bright, just like that star.... /he pauses/ But I may have misled you a little bit. That... is not point 3. /he lets her go and takes a step back away from her, pulling a little black box out of his pocket and dropping down on one knee/ This is point 3.

/smiles against his lips and kisses back, giving a peck to his nose before he turns away/ Oh I’m a good student, I can still remember it even though it’s been almost half a year since then. I am confident I will pass this test with flying colours. Just watch me. /she nods firmly, leaning in closer to the glass, she tries to find the familiar constellation in which the star is situated; she bites her lip and frowns slightly as her eyes scan the night sky/ It should be around here somewhere… oh! /she jumps a little in her spot and quickly points to the star as she spots it/ There it is. Right? That’s the one.
