'' oh my gosh . . . '' rochelle sighs , pressing a hand to her forehead in exasperation . ever since keith had reunited with ellis and joined their group , it felt like her headaches had doubled in intensity . dealing with ellis's antics was one thing , but adding keith into the mix ? it was almost too much to handle .

taking a deep breath , she steadies herself before speaking , '' keith , can you please calm down ? '' she asks , tone patient but firm , hoping—perhaps in vain—that he would actually listen this time .

"Right, of course, the firework plan." He stuffed the glowsticks back into his bag.

"You ready to blow them horde all up?" Keith grinned, it'd be a show for both of them and something fun to do.

"It's gonna be so awesome! "

woah, exploding the bastards would make one helluva show, ellis could certainly agree to that. hell, it might even do some good, if they could take out a large chunk of the zombie population with these fireworks then it would make this whole apocalypse thing a lot easier, surely?

❝ aw, hell, yeah, we could blow the bastards up 'nd— ❞ cutting himself off, ellis watched curiously as his friend rummaged through his bag.

❝ dude, I think I preferred tha' firework plan. ❞

"Well, It's nice to meet ya!" He smiled.

Keith was covered in burn scars on the right side of his body and face, it being pretty clear to see as he was wearing the iconic Bullshifter shirt. He was also sporting a mohawk-like hair style.

"You know my friend? Which one, Dave? Did ya bump into him when he ran off that one time?"

he knew it. from the moment the damn hick had opened his mouth, before it, even. he was exactly as ellis had described. pinching the bridge of his nose, the conman let out a heavy sigh, debating on whether or not he could get away with just turning around and leaving the situation without another word. ellis was hard enough to deal with on his own, god knows how exhausting things would become if he was reunited with his best friend.

❝ goddammit... ❞ he murmurs to himself. ❝ ...just my fucking luck. ❞ another heavy sigh and then, a little louder, he addresses the man.

❝ names nick. I know you're friend. regrettably. ❞

Shit. Keith hadn't thought about that...

"Oh, yeah, right... Ya think we could, i don't know, explode some of them horde with these fireworks?"

Keith then had another brilliant idea. He took off the backpack he was wearing and dug through it, pulling out some glowsticks he'd found from who knows where.

"I'm going to cover myself in whatever the hell these got in 'em that make 'em glow, then I'll glow! I'll be the shining light in the dark!"

He smiled, Keith always had backup plans. Most of them were stupid. Actually, nearly all of them were stupid.

usually, he was more than happy to go along with keith's schemes— hell, it was always a hoot and, even if they didn't end well then at least the mechanic always got a hell of story from it. it wasn't very often that ellis was the voice of reason. in fact, it was incredibly rare...
