𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐬 : where does your muse feel most safe, what does that look like?

I feel safest with my twin. He knows me better than anyone else, and sometimes it's because I can't stop yapping long enough to be mysterious and keep secrets, and other times it's simply because I feel like I can tell him anything.

There are no judgements with the Tamblyn twins... okay, maybe I sometimes judge him in his choice of outfits and career and sometimes his dating life, but it's all out of love!

“Oh that definitely sounds interesting!” Kenny grinned at the idea. They hadn’t thought about doing something with the Aurora Bay Times before. “Well we definitely should! I think that sounds like a great idea!”

“Oh it’s awesome. It’s nice to see people happy, it’s entertaining to see the drama that weddings inevitably bring to life. I love my job! And yes, we can totally be knights together.”

"Somewhat, yes. It really depends on the story, mostly. It's gotten me doing more with photos from taking them and drawing them more, which is pretty cool." Shyne shared with a slight chuckle and grin. "YouTube videos - not that's interesting. We could probably collab on something sometime, maybe outside Aurora Times." He spoke with an interesting, sure they could make an interesting project together in some spare time.

"A wedding photographer sounds rather nice. It must be nice seeing people's special days, capturing them and getting to do all that traveling." Giving an understanding nod at the drinking thing as it made sense - they'd be on a job after all. "I'd love to go and I'm all for being knights together. I'll call myself Sir Knight all day," he said with a happy laugh, excitement coursing though him.

Seeing that the man wasn’t totally disinterested or staring at this in disgust yet, Kenny continued on about it for a moment. “Oh well, I don’t really post those on my channel. I have a portfolio online, but the vlogs are just things I’ve been doing. Making videos for a bride and groom’s wedding is where the real money is at, but I can’t lie that I do love the drama of a wedding.” And had Kenny seen some drama at the weddings they worked.

“Oh? Hm I’ve never actually done anything like that but I’m willing to try new things. It would be nice to do something like that for a business in Aurora Bay.” Even if they swore they hated it when they left years ago. “Do you have anything in mind you’re interested in doing with it?”

"Annoy away," Sal says sincerely, possessing a genuine interest in what was so far out of the realm of what he did or had ever done. He listens as they explain, a couple of nods and an 'uh huh' here and there accompanying it. Wedding videos wouldn't have been anything that crossed his own algorithm of it's own accord but that didn't mean he didn't see the merit in it.

( Had his engagement not fell apart when it did, hiring someone for that purpose might have been a reality for him. )

"Interesting, you'll have to send me a link and I'll check it out."

While Sal had no need for someone with their skillset for anything matrimony related, he did now have an idea for what could be a productive use of his own time and money.

"I own a liquor store here. Is promo for something like that anywhere in your wheelhouse? Because I'd be interested to see what that would look like. Wouldn't mind the business if it generated it."

Kenny always liked hearing peoples stories even if they were complete strangers like the woman before her. Their heart sank when she said she came back because something bad happened. Kenny understood that all too well. They’d sworn they would never come back to Aurora Bay, only to come right back after their mother died. Kenny wanted to be there with their twin and the rest of their siblings because even if their parents weren’t great people, their siblings were.

“I’m sorry to hear that.” Kenny gave her a little smile but decided it would probably be best to move on. “Right, yeah. Aurora Bay has changed a lot since I’d last been here. It’s weird, honestly.”

“ I think there’s still quite a bit of a difference out here. Like it might not be cold the way it is up north where it snows but you can tell there’s a difference between summer and winter. “ mostly because their summers in California were absurdly warm sometimes. Someone who isn't okay with my siblings. Sure, I make fun of Ford like it's my job, but that's because I'm his twin... it is my job. But yeah, I get very protective of my siblings, especially Ford with all those stupid tabloids and all. But that's the biggest thing, if you can't accept me or accept that my siblings mean so much to me, you're just not it.

😷 - Being sick and forced to go to work/school

I was traveling home from a destination wedding I'd made a video for and I guess I caught some kind of stomach virus. Those poor people seated near the plane's bathroom... I'll leave it at that. It was the worst eight hour flight of my life.

👀 + would you go back in time for anything?

Maybe I'd go back in time and keep myself from being born before midnight so that way my twin and I could actually share a birthday. It's not as fun trying to steal the birthday spotlight from him when we technically have our own days.

"Well, shoot.. that would've made such a good plot line for the wedding video." Kenny teased with a laugh. "Well good, I'm glad you won't be leaving the groom on his big day, too. Don't worry, I talked him into staying for you too." Kenny paused for a beat, wanting to see the reaction to the joke. "I'm teasing! He's very much on board. Very excited for everything."

"Now, not to be annoying, but getting down to business. Everything's good to go on my end. That is unless there are any other preferences or ideas you want to run by me?"

"When aren't my feet cold? My therapist is on the case, so don't worry about having to deal with a runaway bride," Lemie promised with a chuckle. "Alright, alright, you have me there." Kenny chuckled softly as they raised their hands in mock surrender. "You really have the same conversations with people? What, do they not remember the same bartender they come to every week?" Although Kenny supposed that if alcohol was involved during their conversations it could be quite easy to forget who you've talked to or what about.

Blueberries, filet mignon for when I'm feeling bougie, wine, anything on the menu at Neptune, which is also for when I'm feeling bougie, uuh.. any seafood. I love food. Just anything, honestly.

“ oh my god “ ford yelled out from the other side of the door as soon as he heard his twins pounding. He halfway thought it was the cops or something with how loud it had been but the specific knocking had to have been from Kenny. It reminded him of their younger years when ford would shut his door on them so he could get some work done. Or smoke without his mom knowing. It was wild that he would try to keep such a small secret when their parents had been keeping much more damaging things to themselves .

“Why do i have to know how to fish to live here? I haven’t gone full old man yet “ ford replied shaking his head as soon as he opened the door. “ it doesn’t smell like fish? “ he asked as he glanced at his twin with a small smile. “ okay you got me out here so what are we doing ?” @kennyxtamblyn
