guys, I'm gonna be so for real with you all, I don't know what I'm doing with JAD. (sorry for the sudden moment of vulnerability, but I think I really need to get this off my chest. you can skip this if you want.)

I've only mostly done stuff like character design and writing, and possibly worldbuilding. well, I guess my only contribution to the production of the series would be animation. but then begs the question, what the hell do i animate? what script am i visualizing? etc.

I've really been trying to learn a lot of other things, such as episode/script writing, background art, music production, sound design, comic making, and much more just to fill in the blanks the series is lacking. but it's getting very overwhelming doing everything by myself. I'm trying to learn so much at once, that I'm learning nothing at all. I got a lot on my plate right now; especially in real life.

I thought I could do it, I really did. I believed I could be like one of those other content creators who somehow manage to do everything by themselves. I guess that proves not every belief is true, and not every wish can be granted. perhaps I was just not meant to have that kind of talent.

a lot is going on in real life right now, everything is about to change soon for me, but I'm still very passionate about JAD. I just want at least one animated episode, or even just one full comic out, so I can at least give myself some peace of mind.

I'm not gonna be gone, I'll still be here. I guess I'm just... worried about the state of JAD, and it's future, If I do nothing but die trying to learn how to do everything while managing real life stuff at the same time. especially because JAD, as a series, is almost a decade old in about a few more years. (a few of the characters have already become a decade old this year.)

this has been always a concern for me, but I guess right now is the only time I've opened up about it.

fellas, I really don't know what to do... any advice?

B1 (Batch 1) DONE! Finally freaking updated them to have all of them be more consistent with each other. I had to prioritize updating their refs for artfight, since they're the only characters I'm gonna be allowing on there.

Edit: I forgot to mention Frank isn't in that image because their ref still holds up to this day

gonna show the icons too because why not lol i think they're pretty cool (unsure what to do with Lance and Nic's icons since they already look fine the way they are, it just slightly throws me off because it's inconsistent)

I'll do the rest of the characters soon (B2), then I'll update their toyhouse profiles once it's fully complete. (check it out, btw! all you need to know about the characters are there, including some small trivias if they have any)
