We’re a family, we’re all lost, we’re the bad guys, we want the world to be better. We live, we die and are reborn.

I’ve gained so much but lost so many. The chapter grows larger, the laughter is louder. The world is ending but we’re just living in it. Priests, soldiers, sailors and mages.

We are virtuous but sinners. Loyalty comes naturally. To kill for these people would be effortless.

I’ve been possessed, cursed, injured and unheard. I’ve built a life, healed hundreds, fought countless battles, loved and lost so many.

Take me away and let me live there, in a silly fantasy world where we all matter. Long live the Empire and all the memories that come with it.

eventual Merthur, light angst and identity reveal

Merlin falls through a natural portal on an otherwise normal quest. Naturally his prince jumps in after him. They find themselves in a dangerous situation, surrounded by sorcerers on the brink of war and they are preparing for a tournament of all things. Merlin is forced to confront his role as a tool of destiny and comes to understand Arthur better than ever before as he steps into a role of responsibility that he never asked for. Arthur is lost.
