If you believe a certain group of trans people are not oppressed, you are transphobic.

If you believe a group of trans people isn't oppressed enough to talk about it, you are transphobic.

If you believe a group of trans people talking about their oppression is always and inherently dismissive of another group of trans people's experiences, you are transphobic.

If you believe a group of trans people needs to be quieter about their oppression because another group of trans people has it worse, you are transphobic.

If you believe calling trans people names, bullying them, shaming them, and belittling them is activism, you are transphobic.

If you believe trans people criticizing binarist beliefs and community infighting is problematic, you are transphobic.

If you believe it is just and right to compare a group of trans people to literal hate groups, you are transphobic.

If you believe a group of trans people has systemic privilege over another group of trans people, you are transphobic.

No ifs, ands, or buts. There is no nuance to be had here. It doesn't matter if you're trans, or just a really enlightened ally, or anything else. It doesn't matter if you think there is a ranking to be had among the body counts. If you believe any of these things, you are transphobic. Period. End of story. We're done here.

tbh what bothers me more than anything about That Cis Dude saying he's got "tboy swag" while actual transmascs are telling him he is talking over us and begging him to please stay in his lane re: trans issues is that he is very plainly using the "tboy swag" thing as permission to talk over real actual transmascs about transmasc experiences.
