Angry Latinxs United!
Angry Latinxs come in all sexes and genders.
(Angry Latinxs stand in solidarity with Latino cismen in the face of white supremacist capitalism and expect true solidarity from Latino cismen against heterocispatriarchy in return).
Angry Latinxs wanna fuck everybody (sometimes nobody, ever).
Angry Latinxs do not tolerate homophobia, bi- or pan-phobia, transphobia and fetishism, (trans)misogyny, intersex erasure, or any form of oppression based on sex and gender.
Angry Latinxs center the voices and experiences of women, femmes, and of bodies coded “female” (whether at birth or later on).
Angry Latinxs honor the history of the two-spirit and other gender identities rooted in ethnic/cultural traditions of non-binary gender systems.
Angry Latinxs know that gender, sex, and race are inextricably related in our identities and histories.
Angry Latinxs are intersectional anti-racists.
Angry Latinxs understand that true intersectionality has to start with challenging and dismantling anti-blackness within Latinx communities.
Angry Latinxs are of European, African, Asian (Including South and West Asia), Pacific Islander, and Native (North/South/Carribean) American ancestry.
Angry Latinxs are mixed and know what’s up when you say “shadeism.”
(Angry Latinxs are white or white-passing sometimes - they channel their anger into support for black and brown Latinxs, use their privilege to challenge white supremacy wherever they see it, and step back when needed).
Angry Latinxs speak Spanish, don’t speak Spanish, speak French, speak whatever language they feel like, whatever language they were allowed to speak, languages they fought to keep, languages you think are dead, languages that “don’t sound Latinx” to you and resent your identity-policing based on language.
Angry Latinxs don’t care if you talk like this or if u talk like dis and say “fuck you” to intellectual hierarchies based in white supremacy.
Angry Latinxs want to dismantle capitalism and reject all notions of human worth based on “productivity” or “independence.”
Angry Latinxs are physically disabled, mentally ill, chronically sick, and supportive of each others’ body realities.
Angry Latinxs are athletes, witches, mad geniuses, revolutionary painters, spiritually awakened, hardcore scientists, mechanics, pro-hackers, wrestling champs, quirky sales reps, civil engineers, doctors, lawyers, basket weavers, unemployed, college educated, street educated, parents, sweet, surly, hermits, party animals, counselors - we are people and we are everything.
Angry Latinxs know that not all Latinxs are treated the same.
Angry Latinxs do not disrespect and ostracize fellow Latinxs just because they only speak Spanish or are less assimilated to American life.
Angry Latinxs know that the vast majority of undocumented Latinx immigrants are of indigenous heritage and have every right to move about this continent freely.
In fact, angry Latinxs support “the right to stay” for all immigrants of every background, whether documented or undocumented, because human beings have the right to self-determine their destiny.
When the match-up is “people vs. colonial, capitalist interests,” angry Latinxs choose people every time.
Angry Latinxs want justice for all Latinxs and all peoples.
Angry Latinxs don’t appropriate cultures they have no roots in just because they are Latinx.
Angry Latinxs fall, they get up, they stay down, they hurt, they heal, they survive, they suffer, they assist, they collaborate, they step back, and they step up.

Kid Cudi enters rehab for depression, shares beautiful note with fans
Kid Cudi announced Tuesday night that he’s checking himself into rehab to address his “depression and suicidal urges,” as he wrote in an open letter to fans posted to Facebook.
The letter displays a level of openness and of vulnerability artists rarely offer their fans. Cudi deserves praise for his strength and the light that he’s shining on mental health especially as a black male artist.
Artists and fans have been sharing tributes to Cudi, with Joe La Puma of Complex posting a heartbreaking yet poignant Vine of the rapper.

If a person is not comfortable being honest and vulnerable with me, I have to stop and consider the reality that the problem isn’t that they won’t open up, it’s that I haven’t shown myself to be a person who they feel comfortable being open and vulnerable with.

#NoMoreCraptions is a campaign by Rikki Poynter for Deaf Awareness Month in her continuous effort to make YouTube equally accessible to all users, as well as to highlight the injustice of the lack of captions and inaccurate captions (or “craptions”) that mock the need for access.
