NEW SONG WAAAAA

A song I made for my previously revealed Daggerheart character. It's this weird hybrid song between noir and rock. It was an absolute blast to make. I hope you guys enjoy it.

DAGGERHEART

Now that I have your attention, here's my Daggerheart character. A 1940's style noir detective named Marshall Graves. He's a Slyborne Infernis Juggernaut Brawler. He's a bit rough-and-tumble, but a super sweet guy once you get to know him. He refuses to turn down a case for those who clearly need justice or closure. He has a office in the backside of an apothecary shop. This office also acts as his home. While not ideal, at least he has a window.

I FINALLY GOT BACK INTO ART !!!!

So yeah... Meet Rhododendron, my new DnD character. He's an Owlin Shadow Monk. Not much to say about him yet. I hope to draw more of him soon though.

NEW SONG!

This one was just so fun to make. It's got that "just jamming out" vibe, and it's so fun to listen to. The song was all me, but I ripped the melody from "Holy Rollin" that I uploaded a while back. I'll probs do some art to go with it soon.

Been awhile!

Sorry for the inactivity, I got a new job and now it takes up a load of my time. Anyways, I made a new song with the self imposed challenge of making it really short (like an intro song). I'm calling it "SCANNING THE ECO". I'll be putting up the audio file as well as the full artwork I made for it. All three songs in the speedpaint are made by me, as well as the art. This took me almost two hours of almost straight work to complete, and I REALLY like how it came out. Looking at it now, I can see some mistakes I've made, so I'll be sure to do better next time.

Qlippoth

Qlippoth is a master manipulator and a puller of strings. His power is almost as great as the gods themselves. He enjoys tugging on chains and toying with emotions. He was the patron to both Tother the Forgotten and Du K'Ra. Tother broke his contract but K'Ra's contract was bought out by someone else. Qlippoth is currently MIA.

Yup, I've finally decided to start doing commissions. Now I know this won't be seen by many people, but it's worth a shot. If you wanna get your characters drawn, then come on down! I'll be putting my Ko-fi link in my bio for the foreseeable future!

I'm also trying to learn how to animate (which explains the inactivity). So I'm going to try and make a stronger effort to keep up with my posts. One or two of said posts will have a song included!

So in the post earlier today, I mentioned original music. Well this is it. This song is essentially the theme song for K'Ra featuring his leitmotif that I used in my "credits // death" cover.

I MADE A NEW THING (sort of)

I decided to make my own remix/cover/version of "credits song for my death." I call it "Credits Song for a Flightless Corvid," because I only have a few more chances to play him. 😭

Du K'Ra

Our DM is retiring after this campaign ends, so the members of our party have to come to grips that our characters will be moving on without us. I've already decided that K'Ra will travel city to city as a vigilante named GRUDGE. In today's session, he acquired a Mask of Disguise, allowing him to cast disguise self at will. The mask also contains his beak, so his beak won't be felt through the disguise (much like how a portable hole works). Imma miss my edgy little bird man. 😭

Ruu Kelkara X Du K'Ra (K'Ruu)

The following are transcripts for your convenience, because my handwriting sucks.

1 - Kenku don't kiss, they gently hold their beams together. This is also an expression of trust.

2 - Ruu is a Magpie. K'Ra is a Raven

3 - Kenku don't solely resemble crows, but can be any member of the corvidae family.

4 - Ruu enjoys social conventions. She tends to speak for K'Ra and act as a shield against people he doesn't like.

5 - K'Ra only goes to gatherings because Ruu enjoys them. He acts as Ruu's clock, and lets her know when it's getting late.

6 - Ruu worships Sune, Goddess of Beauty and Love.

7 - Kenku show affection by being physically close to one another.

8 - *snugs*

9 - Ruu loves K'Ra's music, despite it being very unorthodox.

This is my first attempt at anything close to shipping. The purpose of these drawings is to practice drawing interactions and build lore for Du K'Ra. Give me feedback if you have any.
