Old art from 2023 that I posted ahead of another odd-year Seattle local election with major consequences and insanely low voter turnout. Guess what, it's that time again! Guess what, voter turnout is still absolute shit! Guess what, last time we let old nimbys vote in a bunch of absolute shitmorons onto city council! Are we gonna keep them?

How am I suppose to have any hope for broader national politics if we can't even show up locally for literally anything. Fuck.

Dunk your ballot in a box by 8pm tonight. And show up again in November, too.

Honestly so sick of drawing bald eagles.

Odd number year. Seattle city elections are really important this year though. Primary turnout was pathetic. Feels bad. Hope the general turns out okay. We're a mail-in ballot state!! Just put it in the mail!! Come on!!

Thought of making it an osprey to make it more Seattle-centric, but tbh I’ve seen way more baldies here than ospreys, though maybe because they’re just bigger and easier to identify.

Local bike shop Mello Fellos has some shirts and totes featuring my art now. :> These are a limited run and only available in-store, I think.

The design on the shirt/tote is actually an adjusted and cropped version of the art. The full original version was designed to be printed on water bottles, which will hopefully be available in the next month or so.

A thing people who have sites that put out RSS feeds don't need to do is reblog stuff for visibility because a feed reader will have that update noted for at least 30 days and if the follow doesn't look at it in that time or marks as read, it was at least their decision to do that.

Seth asked me to contribute to his Witch, Please! project (go back it Kickstarter!), wherein he watched and reviewed all 200+ movies in the “Witches and Warlocks” section of Scarecrow Video and asked artists to contribute work based on a movie of their choice.

This was based on The Sonata (2018).
