✨ (PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENT) I started this fan art about an year ago, before TMMN finale aired, hoping for a scenario like ep. 41 in the old TMM anime for Retasu’s Mew Aqua episode (BTW I still love how that episode was written in the end, her Aqua Rod scene is one of the best). But then I was overbeared with other projects, work, personal struggle and then… TMMN ended and we have no news since then, so I was too sad to continue this fanart, once filled with hope and enthusiasm.

But the other day, a dear fellow Ryoutasu shipper - with whom I shared lots of nice chat and amazing moments - saw my Arcane AU artwork and wips and commissioned me to finish this old drawing of mine straight away.

Since this was not a commission but a personal work I absolute refused to be payed, but she gave me the right motivation to finish this one. As well as ALL OF YOU: the amount of enthusiasm I received from my latest posts and artworks preview (I see you Gurple fans, I LOVE your enthusiasm as well) made me want to jump back in this world once again.

So I wanted to dedicate this artwork not only to this dear friend who supported me but also to all the people who keep support my personal project, a personal project that makes me feel happy to work and motivates me so much!

Some of you kindly asked in my inbox for some fan art of certain ships and/or character of Tokyo Mew Mew and, since I am working on my TMM x Arcane AU in my free time (yeah, battle, ships, lots of scenarios and more) I thought it would be nice to post some previews here on Tumblr where I have the most active and supportive fanbase..

So here some illustrations (that are also an excellent excuse to study and learn some perspective) I am working on: battle scene between the mews and the aliens, an amazing fight scene with Mint and zakuro in the moonlight and some other ships too.

I hope I have tingled your curiosity enough, I promise I will work and post all of these as soon as I can ✨

THEM. I can see this totally happening in Return. Even if i can see why he would call her (and everyone else for that matter) by surname, my headcanon is that he would stick to their Mews name for a while (e.g. Mew Lettuce ) until growing closer to someone.

I love the fact that even though i thought about them for nearly 20 years and played every single scenario (including penpals) in my head, this still made me tear up. (i paused to read the letter, the fact that she chose the finless porpoise paper and the little drawing are overload of cuteness). I LOVE THEM

Just gonna enjoy my pietasu crumbs and ignore Pie committing war crimes.

This is so cool! I would hang it on my wall if i had the print version. It is the perfect conclusion of this amazing journey with you all *sending virtual hugs to everyone in the fanbase*
