My drawing muses for Keith & Allura: Forrest Kiyoshi Hoffmann & Bee Melvnin.

Forrest is actually half Japanese, while Bee is from Ghana, and that is, in fact, her natural eye colour. Also, Forrest even sounds like Steven Yeun (check his Instagram).

Couldn’t be any more perfect, if you ask me, though I’d love it if you would hit me with your favourite muses for these characters!

You don’t have to be a Kallura shipper — this is a safe space for all. 😊

Revising this post, as I got the details wrong:

While it breaks my OG-fan heart, it appears this movie will have a new generation of pilots. I initially thought this meant a new iteration of the main crew, but it seems likes they’re getting new names and everything (though I’m hopeful Keith’s counterpart will be called Akira at the very least…)

However, the director says they will stay true to the heart of Voltron, so it is likely we will see similar group dynamics to the older generations of Voltron.

In any case, looking forward to this movie! It has definitely revived my passion for the fandom.

If anyone knows of a good one, I would love to join, assuming the one I was in back in 2018-2019 is no longer active. 😭

For my old K/A fandom friends: long time no see! It’s me, Junimullet. Above is my first real piece of digital art ever made. Found my OG sketches of it in my closet the other day, and whoa, did the nostalgia hit hard.

I disappeared from socials for a couple years due to life happenings, and also because of imposter syndrome with my writing. Was in a bit of a funk for a few years.

Upon hearing of the upcoming Voltron movie, I decided to re-upload almost all of my old works (some of them, like “A Hundred Ways To You”, were sadly wiped on my old laptop when I had to reset it) as a way of reconnecting with the fandom.

I am also writing a sci-fi novel of my own, and hope to use this platform as a means of kicking my writer’s block in the butt, as well as getting a feel for how you all might respond to my OG works.

To any new faces: thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to sharing lots of Kallura art and writing, both of which have improved a lot since 2018. 🤣
