Hello my name is Kenneth Michael Ortiz Vera and welcome to my site. I'm a New York based Photographer documenting the ever changing world around me. One of the places that I love to photograph are the streets of New York. The People, the Architecture, the moments that unfold in front of me; those life moments make me want to make pictures. These captured moments are little stories that allude to more than what is shown in the photograph. The street has a million of these little stories, little nuggets of lives lived that I find absolutely fascinating. I try really hard to capture a sliver of those life moments. From a woman walking down a sunny street lost in contemplation, to a homeless person looking on pleadingly at a tourist snapping a photograph. These are the human dramas I encounter everyday. Take away what you will from these pictures. My hope is that they will stay with you long after you have scrolled and clicked through them. If they speak to you on some human level, then I'll have succeeded in my photographic endeavor.
