hands shaking dropping the pen im holding so they're (we? us? insert name is lee so lee n i interchangeably) not endgame, at least in school. they will never be endgame because both have two completely different set of issues that they cant resolve fast enough-

i think my current lore is just that lee got to him through doing task for ruggie n as god said my little guy energy simply have him kept me around like a jester in court, giving him opinions sometimes but mainly a guy that just say shit that leona finds funny (that then evolved into occasional casual sharing of personal anecdote n life lesson (->chronic ponderer).

in chap 2, lee follow the pack n collect info for Savanaclaw, but ended up defecting because of Jack's chiding and stop associating with leona n ruggie until the blot fight. after the fight, lee brought cheka to the infirmary, refusing to talk to anyone n left. in chap 3, they ended up helping the trio out and was forced into following ruggie n those 2 have a talk. ruggie doenst like what lee did, but he shouldve seen it coming, n their trouble r sort of resolve, but lee n leona never rlly got back into the same dynamic after bc lee would, avoid even looking at leona while leona seethe n cope lol

in chap 6 they get dragged by ruggie to go see leona, n then the whole kidnapping thing happened n they're haunted by it n run to leona the moment they feel him (UM lore, its so embarrassing to say anything related to power:stand:) n hover around while he talk with ruggie n jack n lee ask if hes ok. they're still distant with him but mayhap leona make small effort to reach out to them. this is wish fulfillment but idc i want him to try blink blink

n that's sorta it, just very, ? tension filled for most of the story runtime but they get around to hanging with each other again. i think it would be fun for leona to fell into a sort of false safe state where he find comfort in someone who's silly n is a normal amount of positive around him, even proud that they're so loyal n think highly of him, only to come into contact with the other side of them that is extremely avoidant n refusing to engage in anything at all to the point of coming off as uncaring n cold! n thru it realizing that oh, i actually sort of enjoy being around this person, n have him terrified of the thought for some time until he accept it n go on to mb try (n fail n get pissed off) to get them to talk to him again.

my friends told me im endearing but i think i can be the opposite, extremely mean, vindictive n aggressive, so seeing it with leona is like two straight line running side by side n then one of them swiveled entirely away from the path at all. leona as a character is actually a sturdy type, he can be mean n snarky with a hidden caring side, but at the same time, you can prtty much predict his actions most of the time bc of it!

that is to say, until leona grow as a person we are not holding hands :skull: desperately wanted a highschool romance but we are definitely the "meet again n go from there" type, i need time not seeing his face to want to contact him, and he needs time to just be a little less negative because god fucking knows the jester is stressing about his king refusing to try to do anything.
