sometimes i don’t like telling people online that i’m from the uk cause i get made fun of

AS A JOKE AS A JOKE, but still. i wouldn’t care if it didn’t start getting to a point… like, the rest of the conversation then resolves around my nationality and all these stereotypical questions for fun — but it doesn’t feel fun for me when people escalate it further and suddenly a lot of my conversations with said people are centered around poking at me with brit jokes.

it should be more socially acceptable for people, specifically teens and younger adults, to skip around and bounce off the walls in their own houses. I feel like society has this weird expectation of older people that they just have to lock in and be professional all the time even at home when we're all just children at heart that need to be unleashed somehow. I'm not saying this in a way to be a creep or anything, I just genuinely think people need to chill out a little bit with their expectations and be more whimsical about the little things. I'm sure we'd also be more energized and happier if we all just got up and got moving on our days off (assuming you have the energy for that but it's okay to use your breaks for rest)
