    Knowing Kuroo and how he was rejecting even touching his face which caused the drop of the food in the first place,  he probably should’ve expected that the guy would also reject paying for his ruined food.  He’ll give a moment of silence for the fallen.

“Mmm, in that case, I suppose it’s only right to let you know that you’re doing that wrong.”

He thins his mouth, following Oikawa’s line of vision, and already there’s a thin trail of black ants circling his food. If he laughs, it’s more so reflexive than anything else.

“ I hate you. ”

    He won’t press it past that.  Kuroo can deny all he wants but he made Oikawa drop his food.

“ You owe me money for this wasted food. ”

He just bursts out a laugh at that.

“I guess that’s why you hang around me so much. Your intense hatred. I’m not paying for your mistakes.”

“  Why do I need to PROVE it when it’s only between you and me?! ”

    Now he’s starting to wonder why he’s still letting this argument go on.

His grin alludes to nothing but mischief.

“Because I say that never happened.”

“ You squished my face!!! ”

“Prove it!”

prospere-risu:

“ I wasn’t even the one who started it so I’m the one retaliating in the first place! ”

“I never did anything!”

prospere-risu:

“ I wasn’t the one holding on to wrists with a tight hold now was I?! ”

    And so Oikawa will rub his chest a little,  feeling a very slight pang of pain.

“You kept trying to touch me! That’s a logical response!”

    And just for the applied pressure,  he won’t be as nice.  Oikawa will try to stomp on Kuroo’s large feet — bigger targets.

“ Maybe what’s wrong with me is that you’re touching me! ”

And Kuroo lets go, shoving hard at his chest in accidental surprise.

“I’m stopping you from touching me! You’re deluded!”

“ Thing is… I’m NOT a child. ”

    Oikawa is simply going to apply a light,  but swift,  knee to Kuroo’s groin — or at least right next to it.

Kuroo jumps back, sweating a little and squeezes at his wrists until he’s certain they’ll bruise. 

“What the hell is wrong with you! That’s not funny!”

“ If you can’t handle the heat — ”

    Oikawa will take his chances and nudge Kuroo with his elbow a little hard.

“Listen--”

He grabs at Oikawa’s wrists, holding them tight enough to make the bone shift.

“Stop being a child!”

“ How is it insisting when I noticed you touched my face?! ”

    He’ll reach over and smack the hand that Kuroo is using to rub the other.

“Stop touching on me! This is unwarranted contact!” He pushes his hands away.

prospere-risu:

    Oikawa doesn’t normally like doing this but he’ll have to,  apparently.  He’s going to have to smack Kuroo’s hand. That hurt him more than it hurt Kuroo,  probably.

“ I hate you.  I’m not sure where you got that out of what I said. ”

And he laughs at him, cheery and loud while he rubs the back of his hand.

“It sounded like you were insisting to me! Maybe you’re just the shy type!”

“ Then how do you explain your hands touching my face?!  Do you think I have a memory of a gold fish?! ”

And Kuroo finally turns to face him, his expression limited and blank while he reaches up to tickle his fingertips along the line of his jaw.

“You know, it just sounds like you want me to touch your face. Why didn’t you just say so?”

“ Not when someone goes for my face like you just did!  Pick it up! ”

“No I didn’t! And no!! It probably  has ants by now.

prospere-risu:

“ I’m amazed you can lie straight to my face. You made me drop my food on purpose and you know it! ”

“Wow! You dropped it? Well damn, that’s a real loss, yeah? You should be more careful with your things,”

prospere-risu:

    It’s probably the automatic flinching that got him to drop his food.  Damn Iwaizumi and his conditioning Oikawa like this. Time for his traditional nose - scrunch.

“ Why are you like this?  Who hurt you? ”

“Eh? I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. I’m just sitting here.”

Mushes Oikawa’s face, effectively making him drop his food.
