ughh i have way too many sideblogs to keep on track i barely even come to this one!

take this 27 year old, that looks like a 12 year old, pathetic manchild that i love. more details about the redesign under the cut, if youd like to read!

(first of all im just re-posting this again bc saw some people saying stuff about the formatting of my last post, im not going to delete it bc i got some very nice and sweet comments. here it is again with normal formatting cause it was ticking me off)

my tf2 fixation came back like a truck!!! so i scrambled and started making my own interpretations of each one of these ugly old men. i started with scout because hes my new favorite i guess?

so i was obsessed with tf2 back in 2020, it took me 2 years for me to grow completely tired of it, and i couldn't even play the game, and now its back! can you see how bad these guys affected me, they won me because of the fucking comics! anyway, now its back. and stronger. and i want to play the damn game, i dont know if i can.

so, scout. i wanted to lean in COMPLETELY in his baseball player with this redesign, and also into him being the youngest one.

so i gave him a sliiiightly different outfit, inspired by 50s baseball players (apparently), but only because the 70s ones had very tight pants, and since scouts pants in the game arent exactly skin-tight, i decided to go with wider shapes, kinda like a 90s skater style? dude invented and wore it before it was cool.

i wanted him to look like the odd one out of the team. you know, we have all these rugged, big, macho men, and then we have this skimpy ass kid, that only looks a bit wide because of his large clothes, face full of pimples and zits, acne scars, i even thought of giving him braces! but i hid the layer because he has plenty of information in his face. still, i put it back, just not on this one bc i was lazy to go and edit all of the different versions. :]

the colors were a bit of a pain though. since i went for the full baseball player look, i wanted it to be the classical white with thin stripes uniform, but that doesn't work. looking at the tf2 characters, theyre all walking flags. you look at them, and you can alreayd tell "oh! thats the other team!" or "oh! thats my teammate!", but if you saw a mainly white uniform in the distance, it would make things much harder. but i kept it either way, it looks cute.

the other one is color picked from the original scouts clothes, and the other, other one is basically the same as the original colors, but with the white pants. there something about the impracticality of white pants in a battlefield that just screams scout to me. but so far, i actually prefer the one that keeps the original colors, its no wonder why it is the original.

oh and before i forget, i also made bloody versions of him! all fucked up from battle, so if you dont want to see it, dont look.
