the eight of pentacles made the most sense to me initially—it’s work. to them, send-offs are literally just another part of the job. like, i know we like to romanticize these interactions, but for them, it’s very “let me clock in, wave, smile, and go home.” the king of swords as their overall energy means that they don’t try to get too emotional about it either way. keyword is TRY. they’re mostly logical, detached about who’s front row or who they’re seeing again. this is work. it’s business. get it done and move on.

but before i decided to roll with the eight of pentacles first to help comprehend, the nine of cups was the first card to come out. at first made me think, “oh, maybe they feel satisfied seeing the same fans.” like, “wow, you really love us, you’re always here.” but the ten of swords? that’s deep disappointment. betrayal. hurt. and i’m sitting here like, okay… so do they actually feel annoyed? are they pretending to be happy, but lowkey sick of seeing the same faces? i clarified that ten of swords and pulled the five of cups and four of swords. so yeah, they’re tired. like genuinely burnt out from seeing the same people at every event. they try to take it as “this fan really loves me, they’re happy, i should be happy too.” but it’s giving forced smile energy. they’re mostly emotionally detached from it, but that doesn’t mean they don’t feel a little disappointed sometimes. like, “damn, i wish i could see new faces.” and also fear a bit because they obviously do have crazy fans.

when i clarified the nine of cups, i pulled the page of swords and seven of swords. the page of swords is curiosity, trying to understand. the seven of swords? hidden motives. so it’s giving— they’re lowkey trying to figure out why y’all do this in the shadows. like, “do you really love me, or is this something else?” this is them trying to make sense of it. they don’t fully trust it. i think they’re constantly battling this confusion of “are you just a super fan, or are you obsessed?” because for them, it’s hard to separate genuine support from obsessive behavior. they don’t really get it, but they’ve learned to just accept it as part of the job.

i will say this though—there are definitely members who are more curious and try to mentally rationalize it, like, “you must just really love me.” but there’s also some who are straight up like— “this shit is creepy, i don’t trust y’all.”they may not say it, but the energy is there.

now to the individual energy of the members, because there’s no way 7 people share the same opinion.

heeseung — the sun + four of wands

to my surprise, heeseung loves it. like, i don’t even have to think hard about this one. it makes him genuinely happy to see the same people. not to say he doesn’t love seeing new engenes as well!! but for the ones who are always coming, to him, it’s not weird. it’s not obsessive. it’s like, “you’re back? you made it in? that’s dope.” he’s the type to see the innocence in fans and feel warmth from it. he’s not questioning your motives. heeseung is just happy to make you happy. he sees it as a celebration, a sense of community. like, “this is our little family moment again.” he doesn’t overthink it. he’s with the vibes. it brings him joy.

jay — page of cups reversed, emperor, ace of wands

jay is very much looking at fans like they’re kids. and i don’t care how old you are, that’s how he sees it. he’s the emperor in this situation. y’all are the page of cups reversed. he sees an emotional maturity difference. it’s not mean-spirited, it’s just his logic. he’s like, “in order for you to do this, to spend all this money and follow us around, you’re emotionally not where i’m at. and i get that.” he’s not mad. he’s not disgusted. he’s just looking at it from a place of understanding the difference. he rationalizes it, stays composed, and keeps it pushing. but with the ace of wands, he still respects the passion behind it. he understands that it comes from love, even if it doesn’t make sense to him emotionally. he accepts it for what it is.

jake — eight of pentacles reversed

now jake. jake does not fuck with it. the eight of pentacles reversed says it all—lack of focus, misdirected effort, poor work. so there’s two sides to this. first, this is genuinely a part of idol life he does not enjoy. if he could skip send-offs, if he could skip seeing the same people at every barricade, he would. he doesn’t see the point in it. he’s sitting there like, “this is not why i do this. i don’t do this to see the same people every day.” it makes him less motivated, less happy to even do the send-off in the first place because he knows who’s going to be standing there. second, he’s looking at these fans like, “why are you investing your time, your money, your energy into something that’s not going to get you anywhere?” and not even from a rude place, but from genuine confusion. he’s like, “you’re putting effort into something that’s not serving you.” he’s clocking that some fans are chasing a fantasy moment that’s never going to happen.and he doesn’t get why they can’t see that. so for him, it’s both—he hates seeing the same faces all the time because it ruins the experience, and he also thinks you’re mismanaging your life.he’s worried about your focus, your resources, and why you think this is the best thing to do. he’s not angry, he’s disappointed.

sunghoon — seven of swords reversed, six of swords, temperance reversed

sunghoon is not fooled. he sees fans who try to act normal like they’re just “big supporters” but in his mind, he’s like, “no, you’re obsessive. you’re not hiding it well.” the seven of swords reversed is like when someone thinks they’re getting away with something, but the truth is showing through. he sees the obsessive energy and he’s silently clocking it. the six of swords is interesting here because it shows he mentally moves past it. this could even mean it makes him want to just get send off over with and go back home due to these type of fans. he’s not going to confront you. he’s not going to make it a thing. but he’s distancing himself emotionally from the situation as it happens. now, that temperance reversed is important. temperance reversed is a lack of balance. so this tells me that these types of interactions throw him off. it disrupts his emotional and mental balance. it’s like an internal “ugh.” he’s sitting there like, “why can’t this just be normal? why does it have to get weird?” he doesn’t trust the ones who keep popping up everywhere. he knows the difference between fans who just love enhypen and ones who are trying to be seen by him specifically. it throws him off, but he’s keeping it pushing while mentally side-eyeing you.

sunoo — fool reversed, ten of cups

sunoo loves engenes, but he thinks some of y’all are a little dumb for doing this. he’s like, “i love you, but why would you spend all this money and time for that?” it’s not coming from a shady place— he’s fulfilled emotionally by seeing fans and he understands they do it because they’re emotionally fulfilled by seeing them as well, but that fool reversed is him clocking the recklessness. he’s like, “that wasn’t smart, but i love you anyway.” he accepts it, but he’s also like, “please be serious.”

jungwon — four of cups

jungwon does not like seeing the same people over and over. he loves engenes, but that’s the whole issue. he wants to meet ALL engenes. the four of cups is him sitting there like, “i’ve already seen you five times. i’m looking for new faces.” he’s over it and he wants to focus on the fans he hasn’t had a moment with yet. he feels like it’s unfair to the other fans who haven’t had the chance. so when he sees the same people, he’s mentally checked out from them. like let’s say he recognizes you as someone he’s literally seen and interacted with 5 times already at multiple send offs or barricade, the next time he sees you, he will purposely ignore you when you’re trying to get his attention. he’s not with the hoarding of attention.

niki — the empress, three of wands

niki loves it. he sees it as dedication. to him, it shows how much you care. he has a soft spot for consistency. he doesn’t see it as obsessive, he sees it as sweet. he’s moving forward with the energy like, “i appreciate you always showing up.” he’s not weirded out by it. it may be a self confidence boost for him as well. he feels it comes from a place of genuine love and nurturing from engenes. like omg they love me so much.

two of cups, the devil, strength

as a group, they know the bond between them and fans is strong. they know y’all love them, and they love y’all back. but the devil shows they’re also aware it can get toxic and obsessive real quick. it’s a strong, sometimes overwhelming bond, but they’re doing their best to stay balanced. the strength card is them holding it together, keeping their composure even when it feels like a lot. they understand the love, but they see the crazy too and they’re navigating it as best as they can.

i had a lot of people ask me why i ranked jungwon higher than others usually do. please watch this 😂😂😂😂 on a serious note though, i think even outside of astrology he has shown himself to want to be the apple of those he loves eye. engenes, etc. i ranked him 3rd because his jealousy comes from a more personal and emotionally sensitive place compared to the members below him.
