"That ain't even a valid argument!" Huffs.

Oh. Well, he could roll with that and fluster the mechanic. Casually just dips Souda and gives him a deeper smooch. Incredible.
"Well either way, ya said it much cuter than I did, so there!"
Souda was never very good at arguing, and if he couldn’t win one his best chance was to escape it completely. And he has the perfect tactic. He frowned for a moment before just flashing a grin, leaning up and pressing a soft, loving smooch to the others lips.

"I wasn't stealing your line, it's the truth!" No, Leon, you totally stole his line.
"Nope, you're the cute one. Just look at that face of yours. Cutest damn face I've ever seen."
"Well clearly if yer gonna steal my line!" He huffed a bit, crossing his arms over his chest and playfully nudging the other in the shoulder.

"Yer the cute one here and ‘m gonna fine a way ta make ya accept it."

Aw. He steals a little smooch himself, grinning and rocking back and forth.

"Me? Oh, but I've been following your example! Huh!"
Squirms a bit, trying to get into a perfectly comfortable position nestled in the others arms, pausing for a moment, contemplating something, before he leans up and steals a little smooch.

“‘M just followin’ yer example, man.” Maybe you should add ‘smooth as hell’ to that list too, Leon.

Leon gave a little chuckle, lightly nudging their heads together as the mechanic leaned up against his shoulder. What a cutie.
"I could say the same 'bout you, y'know. You're great as hell. Cute as hell, too. Seriously! How do you do it?"
That feeling was mutual, as Souda couldn’t think of a single place he would rather be then curled happily in Leon’s arms. He yawned a bit, still exhausted from work, laying his head on the other’s shoulder and closing his eyes.
"Yer just enough. And also everythin’. I don’t really need much, ya know? Just you. Don’t need ta be rich or famous or have a lotta business or anythin’ at all. Just need ta know that a great guy like you loves me."

Ah, perfect. He liked this feeling. The feeling of being warm and close to someone he needed. This made him feel important. Somehow, nothing else before had managed to give him the same feeling of importance. Nothing.
"Good, good!" Leon beamed, lightly nudging their forehead s together, scooting in to get close. "I like being just enough!"
Souda let out a small squeak at being pulled into the other’s arms but in a split second just grinned, throwing his own around the red head’s neck and nuzzling into Leon’s hold, perfectly happy with everything.
"Hey there… love~" Oops, he stole a little smooch. Or maybe that a couple of little smooches. "Well alright, fine then. Yer just enough. Enough of everythin’ I need. So there!"

"Me? Too much?" At that point, the redhead faked a pout, attempting to look offended but really looking more like a puppy. "No way! I'm never too much. Always just enough."
Leon blinked, staring at the other for a second before grinning and proceeding to flop down next to him, grabbing the mechanic around the waist and pulling him down with him. "Hey there."
"Y-Ya know yer really too much sometimes." Honestly, he couldn’t think of himself as something all that special but hearing these things from Leon almost managed to convince him.
Souda reached out after a pause, giving the other puppy dog eyes, holding his arms out towards the red head in a silent indication that yes, he wanted to cuddle. Very much so.

"That's more like it," Chuckles a little himself, reaching out to ruffle the top of the other's head.

"'Course I do! 'Sides, it's not going out of my way at all. Even if it were, why wouldn't I want to go out of my way to see a cutie, huh? I can't think of any good reason why I wouldn't wanna do that, y'know."
"If it’s more reassurin’ I’ll try not to smack myself in the head again." Chuckles a bit, dropping the wrench to the ground, knowing that he was sure to repeat the incident if he didn’t.

"Y-You um…" Well, you got him there, Leon, and all he could really muster was a flushed expression, reaching up to pull the beanie down over his eyes. "Y-Ya don’t have ta go outta yer way fer somethin’ like that.."

"...That ain't too reassuring, y'know," Well, he's still worried, but at least he eases up a little bit.
"But nah," He grinned, "I don't need anythin'. I just wanted to stop by and say hello to one hell of a cute guy." Smooth operator, here he goes.
"It didn’t hurt at all— I mean, I sorta have a hard head." That was a much better way of phrasing this than ‘he was used to it’.
"Comes with the territory of bein’ a mechanic, ya know? A-Anyways, did ya need somethin’?" Souda rubbed a hand against his head anyways, wondering if that had left a mark.

"O--Oi..." Souda, honey, please. You need to be more careful. Look at your worried boyfriend.

"Uh... You okay there, Kazu? That looked like it hurt a lil'. Don't want ya to get a bump, huh?"
"Mmm…?" Shifts a bit, raising a hand to rub his eyes… forgetting there was a wrench there and accidentally smacking himself in the forehead.

Jolts up and holds his head, whimpering a bit before opening one eye to glance over at the other, putting on a sheepish smile. “Y-Ya saw nothin’ that didn’t just happen.”

And in comes a grinning redhead hovering over the sleeping mechanic.
"Heey... Kazu." He whispered, using his newly thought-of nickname for the cutie. "Wake up!"
Lays sprawled across the couch, asleep, a wrench still clutched in his hand.
He’d meant to just lie down for a minute in between a few projects, but he’d been more exhausted than he thought.

For a second, Leon thought he was acutally going to be punched this time-- something he still thought he deserved. Though once again, it turned out to be a false alarm, and a frown formed on his face as he was flicked in the forehead. "...Yeah, okay," He mustered out, glancing off to the side, voice quiet and soft. He couldn't help it if he felt guilty. Really.

The request he got after a moment of silence surprised him, and for a second all the redhead could do was stare at the other, before giving a slow nod. "Y... Yeah. Yeah, of course I can sing," He replied, pausing before clearing his throat and beginning to sing. Nothing in particular, just... whatever happened to come to mind. Whatever worked.
Souda frowned for a moment before reaching out a hand, which was curled into a fist, only to simply flick the other very lightly and playfully in the forehead. “Oi, none ‘a that, man. Okay?” Souda’s grin quickly replaced the frown as he scooted a bit closer and placed another few kisses to Leon’s face, settling into the red head’s lap.

He let it stay silent for a moment, noticing that the worries were starting to inhabit the room again, letting out a little sigh before an idea popped in his head. “Hey, Leon. Can ya do me a favor?” Souda waited for a response, making the best puppy dog face he could manage to make sure he’d gotten the other’s attention. “Can ya sing fer me? I haven;t heard ya sing in a really long time, ya know? I miss it.” Souda had a feeling that something like that was what they both needed. Something they both loved.

Leon chuckled softly, nuzzling their heads together for a moment before he spoke. "Yeah, well, I want ya to be happy too. I ain't the only one who should be happy around here. I know someone else who should be, too, 'n their name's Souda. Know 'em?" He gave a playful nudge to the other's shoulder, before letting out a soft sigh, staring down at his feet.
"Yeah, well... you don't need to be sorry. I'm the one who woulda made us miss the concert, after all." Oh. There comes that guilt again. Full force. "Wouldn't have blamed you at all..."
Souda just chuckled a bit, since seeing the other so awestruck by the whole event just made him feel like he’d just won the lottery- he was the real victor here. He’d been trying for awhile to think of a way to repay Leon somehow, for everything, and maybe he’d managed to lessen just a little bit of that huge debt that he owed. And more than that, he’d made Leon smile.

Souda returned the hug, holding the other as close as possible, nuzzling into the embrace, the familiar scent making his heart flutter a bit. “Glad ta hear. Ya bein’ happy is all I really want, ya know?” It was Souda’s turn to lean his head against Leon’s, smiling warmly as he took a moment to steal a quick little kiss. “Sorry fer gettin’ it to ya so late, though. Glad we didn’t miss the concert.”

"T---That's..." Leon stared at the tickets for a minute, awestruck and even having a hard time believeing this was real for a second. But picking them up and feeling them in his hands, well... Souda really had gotten the tickets. How, Leon had no idea, but there they were, and was he ever happy to see that.

"S...Souda..." After continuing to stare at them for another moment, he quietly slipped them back into the envelope, setting it down before pulling the mechanic into a tight hug. "Y--Yeah, that's definitely the right one... thanks." And a kiss, cupping the other's cheeks in his hands and flashing a little grin afterwards. "Makes me happy as hell."
"Special magical powers, that’s how!" The fact that he managed to say that with a straight face was rather impressive. "N-Nah just kiddin’. I sorta um… well when I heard ya talkin’ ‘bout this American band ya really liked comin’ ta play in Tokyo I started thinkin’ ‘bout this. You said the tickets would be too expensive ta afford but it’d be fun ta think ‘bout goin’. Ya seemed so down that it’d be too much so I made a promise ta myself ta get them fer ya!"

"I’ve been savin’ since then, ya know? Doin’ a couple extra jobs here and there as well as runnin’ the shop now that my old man’s handed it over. I just… ya know, wanted ta do somethin’ fer ya. Yer always talkin’ about your dreams, so I guess I just wanted ta make one of ‘um a reality!" Souda just grinned, proud of his work, moving to plop himself back down on the ground next to the other. "Y-Ya wanna go…right? I mean— it’s the right one, right? I don’t know too much ‘bout music so I was worried I got it wrong—"

Leon let out a little laugh, feeling his face being covered in little kisses and finding the sensation to be a bit ticklish. Souda was so excited, like a puppy, and hell was it ever cute. How was a guy supposed to handle something that fucking cute? Good lord!

Just as he was getting relaxed, though, the mechanic's voice spoke up again, and he sat upright, tilting his head to the side and watching Souda scramble off before he could so much as get a word out. "O--Oi, what--" He raised an arm to try and grab the other, but it was too late, so the redhead just flopped back on the ground for a minute. Ah, it had been his birthday a month ago, hadn't it? He'd almost forgotten, surprisingly. Hearing the whistle, Leon once again sat upright, taking the envelope from him with a curious expression, opening it as his eyes widened. "T--this is--!" He breathed out, staring at the tickets with a glint in his eye reminiscent to that of a child in a candy store. "H--how?!"
Souda raised a fist in unison, chanting the mantra along with Leon before practically tackling the other, unable to contain his own happiness and excitement. He quickly proceeded to cover the red head’s face in little smooches— god damn if he had a tail or something it’d be wagging fast enough to propel him through the air! He eventually managed to settle down, curling comfortably into Leon’s arms and resting his head against the other’s shoulder.
"Mmm…~" Happy couldn’t really even describe how he felt right now, the word just wasn’t good enough. Cheerful, Joyous, Elated— no word fit the bill. He let out a relaxed sigh, glancing up at the other before a realization hit him. "A-Ah…oh yeah! Y-Ya were gone so long I never got ta give ya— Ah well, suppose it makes a great Valentine’s gift too! Luckily it’s not too late for ‘um! Lemme go get it, mmkay!" And he was off, prying himself from his comfortable position and rushing around his room in a rather mad frenzy before yanking a white envelope out from underneath the mattress of his bed.

Souda walked back over to Leon, giving a little cheerful whistle before holding the envelope out, prompting the other to take it. And inside Leon would find the gift Souda had meant for his birthday, but better late than never: two tickets to a concert Leon had been talking about going to.

"H--Huh?" Leon blinked in surprise, staring in confusion at the expression on Souda's face. Was he--- was he angry? Determined? God, he couldn't tell, but he winded up just being even more confused by his words. "W...Wha-- Who's what?! I--" Oh, that's what he was getting at. Now Leon understood.
A grin forming on his face, returning the playful headbutt before raising up a hand, holding it out as a fist in some sort of gesture for a fist-bump. "Man's promise? Hell yeah! You got a man's promise from me, a'ight! We'll go to the moon, we'll go on that rocket together! We'll see space, and it'll be fucking awesome!"
"Together, huh? Alright fine! But ya gotta make it a promise!" Souda’s expression turned serious for a moment, though it was hard for someone like him to give an intense stare and the result ended up being something much more comical than intended. "Ah.. what is it that guy in yer class said— The one with the… ya know— Ah right! A man’s promise! Ya gotta make me a man’s promise Leon! That you’ll come with me ta the moon!"
A ridiculous notion, yes. But Souda was, in general, a ridiculous person. But his heart was in the right place, and his words were earnest, and when it came down to it that’s what mattered the most. The grin spread across his face only widened as he playfully butted their heads together, resuming the koala cling he’d had earlier, the stubbornness and refusal to budge even an inch etched across his expression.

That purr was way too cute. God, did he miss hearing that kind of thing. How was it possible for someone to be so fucking cute? Ah, he was just going to let himself relax now, try to at least push the guilt to the back of his mind for now. He'd find a way to fix things, he would. But now wasn't the time to be worrying, now was the time for action.

"Good..." Leon gave a quiet sigh of relief, before his face melted into a look of mild shock. "W--What? Hey, don't give up the dream! You gotta make the rocket, man! You gotta do it! Ya... can take me with you, though. On the rocket, I mean. We can go to the moon together, yeah?" He gave a light chuckle, once again bopping their foreheads together. "Imagine that. The two of us goin' to the moon."
The mechanic was completely content now, all sense of doubt flown from his mind or buried deep down where he couldn’t even reach it. He tightened his hold on the red head, nuzzling his forehead to Leon’s with a bit of a purr, closing his eyes and just letting himself relax into the hold. Without a doubt this was the greatest feeling in the world, and Souda wouldn’t trade it for anything. He didn’t want anything else. He’d never been upset or threatened by the fact that he was poor: just that he’d been alone.

“‘M fine! Never been better in fact!” Souda replied, a cheery laugh to his tone as he leaned forward to place a little peck to the other’s nose. “I love ya too, Leon. More than anythin’, okay? I’d trade the world for ya, heck I’d give up that dream of buildin’ a rocket for ya! Nothin’ matter more, got it?”

Well, it was better to accept forgiveness than to fight it. He wanted to make Souda happy, after all, not more upset than he had been for the past while. His guilt wasn't going to go away, not by any means, but hell, if he could make things right again, you could damn well bet he would try.

Leon was rather pleased with the dip, attempting to deepen the kiss just a little... except, he found himself falling forward before he could do much of anything. Letting out a light 'oof,' he rubbed his head, before immediately shooting upright to look at the mechanic with concern. "O--Oi, you okay there? I..." He trailed off, hearing Souda laugh, and immediately a tiny grin formed on his face. Damn, he missed that laugh. A hell of a lot. A hand moved to ruffle the mechanic's hair lightly, nudging their foreheads together with a warmer smile. "...'m glad to see ya. Really, I am. I love ya."
Souda didn’t one to argue either, heck he couldn’t argue. There was no other answer for him, no other solution. All he could do was forgive Leon so they could fix whatever mess had been made. He’d learned from experience how foolish it was to hold a grudge against someone. And he also learned from experience how trustworthy Leon was and how much the other cared about him.

That bright, familiar, shark-toothed grin finally graced his face as he just fell quite comfortably into the other’s hold. He returned the kiss with gusto, as much as he could muster as his hands found their way into that soft, red hair. Souda clung onto the other with both his arms and legs, a koala with no intentions of letting go… until it backfired by throwing them both off balance thanks to that romantic little dip. Souda grunted a bit when he ended up falling on his back against the ground, but right now he couldn’t care less. He just laughed. And damn, did that feel good.
