"Make-A-Wish" Bakery Sales: Azure and Turquoise are busy baking and decorating the starry cookies for the charity sales.

I love drawing my girls. I made them the main characters in my books "Checklisted Beauty" and "My Best Friend Sunny" and, love to continue to draw them in my new book. Yesterday, they were participating in a charity bake sales for Make-A-Wish. I couldn't help drawing them and putting their fun experience in to a short animatioin. They are growing taller and bigger, but still adorable!

It's my incredible honour to participate in their 20th-anniversary celebration as an advocate. To help raise fund for #MakeAWish, I've made a short animation to show to the donors the “magical difference” their donation would make on the young patients’ lives. https://makeawish.org.hk/林凱思-兒童繪本作家及插畫師/ 我有幸成為「願望成真基金•20周年」的願望大使。為了盡一分力，我希望透過此短片向捐贈者闡述其捐款如何對受益兒童帶來莫大的幫助。

Research showed that patients who felt the care and love from others would be more willing and positive in enduring the medical ordeal and therefore be more likely to recover from the illness. 研究顯示，當病人感覺到別人的關心，便會更願意接受艱辛的手術及治療，最終其痊愈的勝數亦更高。

This clip shows the joy and hope a young leukemia patient experiences after having his pilot-wish granted.

短片中患白血病的小孩因為透過「願望成真基金」的幫助，實現了當飛機師的夢想。這個「奇妙」的經驗令他更能勇敢和樂觀地面對手術和治療。

‘Stop doing the, “Let’s talk about the royal wedding!”’ How gutsy the award-winning actress, Emma Thompson, responded to the reporter’s question “will you wish them well?’. While I personally found Thompson’s response very amusing, it apparently went against the tide of the public fascination with the royal family. The Royal Family is one of the longest-running Truman shows in history, constantly bringing the audience new surprises by adding characters such as #MeghanMarkle and Prince Louis of Cambridge. The recent internet sensation caused by the red-dressed #Duchess of Cambridge looking flawlessly seven hours after giving birth to her third baby is another piece of evidence to show how the public obsessed are with the royalty. Behind the royal veil, the royals are just human, animals. The heraldic bearings do not make them smarter people or better parents. With this logic, I developed this Lowbrow piece. Vincent Van Gogh’s peasants shared the same colors as Buckingham Palace in here... enjoy!

Police Lookout-Station in my fantasy world: Still secret! But I want to share with you some process work from my new book, released next month published by WE Press ..thrills! Took an inspiration trip to Shangrila, western China last year. Among the thousands wondrous things I saw there, this pop up (Left image in second picture) station for traffic police caught my eyes, and BOUM! I told myself I have to draw it my new book... And there it went... colorfully, and joyfully ... in bright orange and B/W stripes on my draft, setting the stage for my little character friends to do their play. My professor, as helpful as always, thought the architectural perspective was a little off. So he drew lines for me to fix the perspective. Result?! Well, please wait for a few weeks more and you'll see on my new book ! (squeals!!)
