hi, how do you keep going despite everything? all the wars in the world? i'm asking this to everyone i can ask anything to because i'm struggling so much.

You keep going because society is made of individuals and zeroing in on and focusing on connecting to the individual will stabilize you. The people of Iran want to live, they want to keep going, so do the Palestinians, the Sudanese. You go on because every individual IS the world. Reach out to your Iranian friends, be there, be present. Do this for everyone. Have discussions and be tactful. My family is currently stuck in Iraq and they are being barred from going back to Vienna to their children and their jobs, so my role is to check in and comfort them. We send them money, we listen, we connect. We are no closer to the question of what is justice than we were one thousand years ago. Your day to day interactions, and especially what you let filter into your subconscious through the internet will be the only thing to keep you sane.

adriana smith who was forcibly kept on life support after being brain dead to incubate her fetus due to anti abortion laws in georgia, usa will be taken off life support this week. she had an emergency c-section today and the child was born prematurely and is in the nicu. her family is raising funds for hospital bills (that the state didn't even pay for despite forcing this "treatment" btw!) and for the new baby. donate if you can. you just genuinely have to not care about things to be happy like when i hear how people talk about being slighted in interpersonal contexts, my recommendation is just assume the best of people and don’t care. don’t dwell on it, don’t remember, don’t assume they were being rude, just don’t even care. don’t make generalization or judgement just genuinely move on. people who sound crazy / anxious / depressed are always recalling the past and interrogating. detach imo

Things will never work out the way you expect you can’t stay in paralysis waiting for the right moment forever or you will experience nothing. Keep it moving and remember not knowing how things will go is part of the excitement of living
