More than any other art form, #burlesque has shaped who I am as a performer. It’s daring, funny, female, musical, fluid... all of the things I am and aspire to be. #NYC in the mid 2000’s continues to be my groundswell. This is from one of my very first acts. The bolero and thong were given to me by a dominatrix friend who used to tour as a stripper in the 90’s, but retired when her agent suggested she get a third boob implanted on her back so she could headline in Asia. Eventually I did bedazzle that bra, but it never looked as good as the jacket. Life is a journey, and I am super incredibly proud of mine.
