Just a theory.. in 2x7, when Nick and Sabrina were making out (after "what are warlock boyfriends for?"), I noticed Sabrina was opening and moving her mouth more. It was kinda more hot and passionate. Compared to Sabrina's kisses in 4×5 before/during their sex scene. You could see Nick lije really in the moment of passion and of desire but I felt like Sabrina's kisses were more like a peck of the lips. I just thought the sex scene would have warranted more passion and body movement esp from Sabrina who was gonna experience everything supposedly for the first and last time, you know?

Anyway, the theory is, maybe in the earlier seasons like part 2 Gavin and Kiernan tried to date/had a relationship? There were certainly rumors. And since they were dating, both of them were more open to more passionate kisses on screen.
