obviously there are so many books that should include tws. this was just my first encounter with a book that lacked them, when i personally believe there should’ve been a bit of a warning. like i said before this is not me attacking bardugo (please don’t kill me i just need a warning)

coming back from my grave to share a little experience. so basically i wanted to read something different for the fall. (different as in i wanted to read something “scary.”) i figured hey I’ve read leigh bardugo’s books before, i loved sab and soc !! so why don’t i read ninth house. i saw so many positive things about it, but i also went in kind of blind.

i dnf it. not because of the plot, i actually really enjoyed it. i just think the topics were too heavy for me. i skimmed chapter seven and wanted to puke. all in all i think i’ll give it a shot when i’m in a better place mentally to read something like that. but this also brings me to the point that there definitely should’ve been some TWs for that book in the beginning !!

anyways this wasn’t criticizing the book or leigh bardugo, she writes beautifully. i guess it’s my fault for not reading up on it enough ? i read reviews but there wasn’t any mention of that…maybe one day i can come back to it.

an archived snippet of “shatter me” that i posted on instagram. i think it’s kind of funny because the caption was just me complaining abt adam. it wasn’t that i didn’t like him, i just found him a bit boring.

i feel as though if i didn’t know that warner wasn’t an asshole before reading shatter me then i would’ve hated him like i was supposed too. (knowing me i would’ve still liked him because uh oh danger is hot…)

just finished a court of mist and fury by sarah j. maas. i adore rhys and feyre so i figured i’d do an annotation/doodle for them. had a lot of fun doing this, i think i’ll start doing it more often.
