Chicken of the woods, destroying angel, black trumpets, pixies parasol aaaand wrinkled peach mushrooms.

They’re all 10x10” and were a great way to figure out how this free motion foot thing works. And best of all- I LIKED making these. I’ve always been dissatisfied with my drawing and my sewing, but with their powers combined I finally found an art form where I like the process as well as the outcome. Who’d’ve thought.

Anyway. Maximum scrunch.

In my quest to use the most of the fabrics I buy,

Here is a 3 pieces outfit i made using the same fabrics in each pieces

The Pants are the Acajou pattern from Deer and Doe, I used the big plaid for the pants with a black twill. The pocket were made with the smaller plaid that i also used for the shirt and top

Long sleeve shirt is Laurent from Jalie, tank top is Elsa from Jalie. Both were made using black cotton jersey. The sleeves are lined with the same plaid fabric. The patterns on both tops were drawn by me and topstitched using the zig zag stitch!

The pictures are ugly but in the spirit of trying to use the fabrics in my stash: Here is a quilted sleeves shirt i sewed yesterday. Backed the inside of the sleeves with a green jersey so it can peak out when I roll the sleeves!

My latest knit! Pattern is the Very Varied Vest by Lydia Morrow (I’m a big fan of all of her patterns) , I used a chart on pinterest for the fishes, just changed the colors.
