The other day I got a call from The Book Rack in Pineville, NC and they said, “your copy of The Portable Henry Rollins is in.” To which I said, “excuse me, when did that I order that?” They proceeded to explain that I requested it seven years ago and a copy of it finally became available. I’m not sure if I’m in the headspace now to read early Rollins but I very much am impressed with how well this little book store keeps track of requests. I paid the $5 and they shipped it (USPS of course).
