Scrolling the Celine tag in search of fanarts and seeing my own post in the "top" category is one of the most rewarding experiences im my life. Finally someone appreciates how much of my free time I spend on analysing fictional characters.

The thing about Celine that I feel people don't talk about is that she does truly loves Rumi, as a daughter, and cares for her deeply. She wants what's best for the younger, she's just mistaken what that is. The reason she wants to get rid of marks is because she doesn't see them as an inherent part of Rumi, but as some sort of curse that has to be healed. Further more one should not forget is that Celine was though her whole life that demons are evil, she have seen them kill people, and she killed them as well. So for her to accept Rumi's demon heritage would mean to question her and the whole lineage of huntresses actions. If the demons aren't all evil that means she spent her life killing people. And that means there's nothing she can do about the pain she carries. It pose a danger to her view of the world, and the meaning she had found in life. She did her best to rise Rumi on her own, which by the way isn't easy with a normal child, but with half-demon I can't begin to imagine. There is no textbook for that. And we don't know if she even wanted a child, if she was ready for one. But she takes on that responsibility for her friend and raises and loves her the best she can. She doesn't want anything bad happening to Rumi, when Celine realises that her daughter asks her to kill her, she looks absolutely terrified. Imagine someone who you took care for asks you to end their life, someone whom you watched grow and tried to protect. She doesn't hesitate a second to say that she does loves her, and yeah that's not enough but it counts. But Celine is a broken woman doing her best, not some kind of cold hearted manipulator that doesn't care for Rumi besides her voice.

I have so much more thoughts on this topic and this is just a scrap of them, so I'm probably going to write another post about Celine and Rumi.

Someone probably pointed it out, but Celine is the only one with two Norigae. And like do you think that one of them used to belong to Rumi's mom and Celine decided to keep it, because I think about it a lot. I bet that the purple one is Ryu's.

So for years I was thinking about how in this one episode of tgf Stan talks about people making fun of him for being weak and he doesn't want that for Dipper. And I was wandering whether he was talking about his experiences or Fords since everyone thought he is Stanford back then. So was Stan bullied and considered weak or was he just seeing Ford in Dipper and thought he can't quite protect him like he used to protect Ford? We see his past self wear glasses which implies that it's ford, but to me he looks like mix of them both.

I think it's interesting idea that Stan was bullied, and was forced to learn how to fight, but maybe he learned to fight to protect Ford? Also I think that him wearing the glasses isn't that weird considering he needs them when he's older, maybe they were broken and his parents didn't buy him new ones?

Can someone please explain to me why there's so many fics with parental Slade Wilson or with Slade and Dick in romantic relationship? This man is canonically a child predator, with really messed up obsession on my pookie. Not to mention he is like twenty something years older than him. Also he's simply a terrible person, father too by the way.
