                 ”Kinda! It helps bein’ the last of my kind an’ all that junk. Seems                like everybody knows who I am, mosta the time…”        Giggling, she ducks the swipe with a practiced backward bend, twisting and taking a step forward into his space to try and pluck another sweet from the array tucked into his belts. Surely he wouldn’t miss one more, with how many he had, right? 

                         ”And it’s nice to meet you, Gaius the nimble! Though thieving isn’t                 really somethin’ I can get behind, I guess I can let it slide this once. Ya                 seem like a pretty alright guy, after all.” 

  “ Oh, you’re good. ”      

     A small chuckle passes through his slightly gaped mouth, stem from multi-flavored sucker donned in his own fashionable way. Residue from honey stains on the outside of his pockets seemed like minor footnotes at his caped ensemble, hiding a myriad of sweets and goodies beneath his veil. It wasn’t as if the cloaked crook was particularly lacking in the confections area, so he figured he’d let the blonde keep her reward(s). 

   “ I’m sure the shepherds would love having a fiery gal like you aboard. ”

[When it came to Gaius, Henry knew that he’d more than likely end up eating stuff with lots of sugar and Henry liked watching all the sweets he found in his way but wasn’t very experienced with them so every time he hung out with Gaius, it was quite the experience for the dark mage.]

Oh wow! That’s awesome! Yeah let’s do that! 

     Taking several steps forward in the direction of the nearest pub, a subtle smile cracked the foundation of the thief’s charismatic lips. Finding himself enjoying the presence of his fellow shepherd, the cloaked crook acknowledged the other’s jovial persona, swishing around a loose lollipop in his mouth before tossing one towards the dark mage. 

   “ So tell me Junior, how long have you been here?      Do you think there are any other shepherds roaming the city streets searching for us? ”

    While most might hear someone call themselves a bandit and move for fear of being hurt or the like trying to stop them, Ari’s instinct is the very opposite. Hearing the gleeful declaration, she instead moves purposefully into the man’s path, head canted and expression mild. 

                        “Did you jus’… rob that place?”

   “ It’s not what you think. ”

     Of course it was what she thought, but the thief opted to mince his words around the stranger. Holding his bloated brown bag, the man ruffled the top to reveal sugary confections overflowing. At least it wasn’t a bag full of money.

  “ OK, so maybe I did.     Either way...     Are you gonna stand in my way, beaut? ”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TYLER!

Citta Alveare, to many of us, serves as more than an MFRP–it’s a platform for the narratives of characters near and dear to our hearts, it’s a means of connecting with new and old friends alike, it’s a second home. Most MFRPs are passed down from owner to owner, but Tyler has put forth such a great deal of time and devotion towards maintaining Citta Alveare for the sake of this community. Thank you for everything Tyler, and I think I speak for everyone when I say you are both loved and appreciated. Happy Birthday!

     As did Gaius, who seemed to liven up at the sight of another recognizable face. While the thought was relatively unnerving to ponder upon, the overall status of their circumstances within their home universe, it was slightly more comforting to know that he wasn’t the only one missing in action.

   “ Aw drat, have you really?       I’ve been here for quite some time as well!       Say, how about we catch up over brunch?       My treat. ”

[Henry loved meeting his fellow Shepherds in this city even if that meant they were also sent here against their will since they at least had each other in this wicked city.]

Hey! It’s been a while! I’ve been here for months but it’s nice to seeing you here!

     Eyes narrowed, first glancing at the fiery redhead before him, then to an amateur brute scurrying away with the grace of a garbage disposal. A stem from some sugary confection swished around the ginger bandit’s mouth, gripping onto the now-light brown bag in one hand and an iron blade in another.

   “ You’ve made a believer out of me, Red.       Alright then!       I’ve got a plan. ”

     Halting rather dramatically, Gaius huddled across from the stranger, whispering.  

   “ This is an offer I don’t make often,       but you seem like the kind of man who enjoys his sweets.       So I’m offering you a quarter - not half! - of my stash,       if you agree to help me catch this evildoer.       Are you all in? ”

“Hey, I ain’t punched no bag, dude! Why would I deny a man the pleasure of sweets?” That’d be too cruel a thing, from Samejima’s point of view.

“Now, I can help you find the criminal responsible for such a crime, just like that guy over there!” Samejima suddenly started running past Gaius. His eyes were focused on a shifty looking man, whom also started running as soon as he noticed the demon advancing towards him. If the thief looks closely, he’d see the fugitive had one of his fists tightly closed, as if holding something.

    “ Only if it isn’t an inconvenience to you!        Don’t worry...        I’m harmless. ”

“I am sure there is one in sector five. Do you want me to lead you there?”

     A small, barely noticeable fumble as the thief bent over to grab hold of multitude of candied treats laid upon the ground. Stuffing many into various pockets hidden within his grungy, knotted cape, eyes narrowed to view a nearby watcher. Breaking the ice with a laugh, Gaius beckons the woman. 

   “ I know, I know.      I’m incredibly s e x y, it’s evident.      But there’s no reason to stare so hard.       Shouldn’t you be preoccupied with tending to Bubbles’ every whim, Sunshine? ”
