i'd like to point out the korean on the top left says "we meet again" referencing how chae-yeonh played these games before 🥹🥹 and also 250 was ji-hoon's number (ji-woo's brother) and 132 was chae-yeong's number, and also gi-hun is in the bottom right corner (and approaches chae-yeong aggressively after this)

i have a post on chae-yeong (the blonde one) but i should explained her and her ex girlfriend so 👇

ok so at some point in life chaeyeong meets hansol (my name for player 324 from season 1), and through hansol she meets jihoon (my name for player 250 from season 1). jihoon introduces her to his sister, jiwoo (girl with red hair pictured above), and they start talking and eventually dating a bit after.

(for reference, left is park ji-woo, right is ahn chae-yeong)

everything is pretty chill until they move in together, and chaeyeong realizes jiwoo is a HARD druggie. like a lot. she uses all of their money on drugs (and chaeyeong didn't even have that much money since she immigrated).

finally at one point, hansol convinces chaeyeong to confront jiwoo, who gets mad and says she'll change, but transfers chaeyeongs credit car balance to herself, and then kicks chaeyeong out. chaeyeong is broke as hell now, and just living with hansol and jihoon while working her job.

the thing is jihoon and hansol have a gambling problem, so it's not long until they are near eviction. that's when the salesman comes and recruits them to the game. they all accept, and join, and then both hansol AND jihoon die. chaeyeong makes it out after voting to leave, and doesn't return.

(in case you forgot who han-sol and ji-hoon are)

in that one day, they were kicked out of their apartment and all of their stuff was outside. she grabs everything and moves into a new apartment with her own money, which was a resell from con artists. they fuck with her a lot but she's living.

flash forward a year or so, and she's on her way to her minimum wage job as a ticket seller at a subway station when jiwoo confronts her. she said how she'd been looking for chaeyeong but she wasn't registered as an apartment owner or anything.

jiwoo had gone to the police to find her, but she was told she was the SECOND person to ask, and they didn't know anything about her. thrown off by that detail, chaeyeong is framed for changing the subject.

jiwoo pulls her from her station and tackles her, obviously high, blaming chaeyeong for her brothers disappearance, believing her brother cut contact with her. chaeyeong tries to explain, but only pisses off jiwoo when she presents the idea of her brother dying in a crazy death game. jiwoo has chaeyeong pinned against a wall strangling her when the two are approached by none other... than the fucking recruiter.

and thats what this drawing is 🥹🥹

after allat, jiwoo flirts with recruiter (who's name is je-chul in this au) and gives him her number and whatnot, and then she actually gets with jechul (she's lesbian but she was high so she's doing anything to piss off chaeyeong) (jechul goes along with it to stalk chaeyeong)

Like just imagine them on a little life boat, Inho shivering because he gave his coat to Gihun (trying to be chivalrous), Gihun ignoring them both, scowling and rocking Junhee's baby (the kid's sucking on his shirt like it's a pacifier). I see Inho defending Gihun if Junho gets mad at him, but Gihun gives zero fucks when the anger turns to the older Hwang.

And there's Kim, huffing and puffing, trying to row them to land without the two brothers strangling one another. I also would have LOVED to see Wooseok interact with Inho. the sheer comedy there. our wise queen and his sixth sense clocking this lame little simp for who he is immediately.
