While their gym may be pink and puffy their passtime is considerably less so! 

Before my trainer went pink and became a gym leader they were quite the competitive battler and edgelord supreme. They wouldnt so much as glance at a pink pokemon when they were younger. However, despite being a somewhat gifted trainer when they tried to go to the big leagues a disastrous battle left them stranded with a team of blacked out pokemon. Lost and afraid the traumatizing experience had a silver lining. They met a certain pink pudge by the name of Lolli who lent them a big hand. Ever since then this trainer never doubted the power of pink. While they took a long break from battling they eventually got back into it with the help of their new pink companions. They never quite gave up on their spoopy companions though. Later in life they’d decide to turn their team into one focused on exploration. They love visiting historical sites and adventuring through abandoned or ancient places!

Their full spoopy team consists of Rozenrott the Cofagrigus, Nynder the Claydol, Skortch the Solrock, Boggart the Beheeyem, Booburgh the Shiny Palossand, and their adorable mascot Zozo the Riolu.

Occupation: Researcher (Combination Historian/Zoologist?) Their research centers around the history of pokemon, primarily their place in civilizations and relationships to humans.

Trainer Class: Pokefan? Pokemaniac?

Regions Explored: Alola, Hoenn, and Unova

Current Goal: Wants to visit Sinnoh due to the ties with the creation pokemon. Particularly Canalave Library.

Brief History: Born and raised in Nimbasa but despite being in the entertainment capital of the region Fairy was more interested in the desert and ruins that lie beyond the city limits. They spent a lot of their childhood exploring the Unburied Ruins on route 4 and Relic Castle in the Desert Resort. It instilled a love for both history and lore. They would also visit the northern part of the region to see their grandmother who lived close to the DragonSpiral Tower. Fairy often visited the ruins to explore and possessed a fascination with dragons due to their mother.

Fairy also traveled a lot to various regions. Combined with their love of pokemon seeing different types of pokemon around the world made Fairy want to dedicate their life to working with pokemon in some way or another. They used to be competitive with pokemon but dropped battling after highschool. They currently dislike battling for the most part and avoid it if possible. While they dont like the conflict trainers go through Fairy still wanted a reason to be close to pokemon in a way similar to a trainer. Thus, they decided to make pokemon the focus of their career. Combined with their love of history and lore Fairy decided to study to become a researcher with their field focusing on the history of pokemon in civilization and their unique relationship with humans.

Pokemon Type Specialty: Their main team consists of Pokemon related to ancient civilizations or the history or lore or types that can help them explore ruins. However they have a particular weakness for cute pokemon, particularly those of the pink variety.

Been a while sinceI mused about pokemon things here.

This is mainly just team exploring. There are so many pokemon I love but overtime I think I’ve started to narrow it down some.

I dont think I could really pick a pokemon by type though a lot of my faves seem to fall into the dragon/psychic/normal/fairy/ghost type categories with some exceptions of course. Its more like I love pink pudgy pokemon, cute dragons, and then I dont know how to describe this last category but let me try. Basically pokemon that have an element of history or mystery about them, pokemon related to ancient history or pokemon that came from space or have some sort of cultural element to them. Examples that come to mind are claydol, beheeyem, solrock, lunatone, cofagrigus, golurk, bronzong, and so on.

Honestly if I were to be a trainer I’d either wanna rise and care for pokemon or explore ruins and study history and mythology!

Im still hung up by the fact that pokemon can undergo special transformation if the bond with their trainer is super duper mega stronk. Does it happen to people? Do they get like hair color change, abnormally pointy teeth, oddly tinted skin colors, weird eyes? 

How does this work, explain pokemon.

Was having a real rough few days emotionally so Im sorry Im a little bit behind when it comes to the asks. I have all your prompts still just gotta catch up with somethings before I answer.

I didnt get a lot of sleep and it affected me emotionally at least, I felt sad and tired even though I was having a good time with friends. My motivation to draw too was affected so I tried to get myself in the mood again by doing these quick ideas of pokemon crossbreeds. Been messing with ideas for a pokesona. I have my lickilad sona but I always get fairy typed when I ask others.But I can never pick between some of the options, mainly slurpuff, granbull, wigglytuff and clefable. So been messing with some crossbreeds to see if that could help. Im still as lost as ever but at least some of these came out cute!

The sweet space boy. Beheeyem is still one of my fave pokemon of all time, hes just such a cutie patoot. Im thinking about doing an all psychic team Alola run and Im very tempted to make Elgyem my starter. Enjoy this cute alien mon!

Alolan Lickilicky!

I finally beat the Elite Four in Pokemon Sun & Moon and its just rekindled my love for this region and everything about it. I’ve seen some folks make their own Alola forms of pokemon so I thought I’d do one for my favorite of all time, Lickilicky!

Some thoughts about their Alolan form:

Type: Grass

Info: Lickilicky’s diet consists of mostly fruit in Alola. They eat so much of it that they eventually began to resemble the fruit they eat. In the past they were believed to bring a bountiful harvest and were given lots to eat whenever one showed up. Lickilicky helps nurture fruit trees and make them produce plenty of berries, it shares the bounty with other pokemon.

My big coffin baby. I always loved Cofagrigus since it was first announced. Kinda always been in my top ten since then and would probably make a great partner pokemon since its got so many things I like design and content wise.

There was a time I kinda wanted to do the poke-ask blog thing but not so much anymore. Mostly time constraints but also despite there bein a lot of cool peeps out there I just got put off by some things too. Mainly just seein a lot of blogs with characters who openly went after other characters on different blogs for the sake of beating them in battle so they could be ‘teh stronkest’

Like obviously its one thing if both parties are just havin fun but a lot of the time it just felt like the power fantasy category where folks just need to prove that their OC is stronger than yours and just...no thanks. Like believe me I used to do it when I was in highschool, I saw the appeal but I think it just led to a lot of not-fun situations in the end. Again this isnt about folks who are both havin fun its specifically about peeps who feel the need to randomly go after anyone else who has a strong oc and start an unwanted encounter so they can defeat said strong oc.

Some psychic pokemon! I love a lot of psychic pokemon and ghost pokemon but thought it’d be cool to doodle some of the psychic babs I love. Creepy eye pokes are the best.

Ain’t he precious? Booburgh is my shiny sandyghast @5targuitar got me as a christmas present. I love him so much and he is a beast in the ring, and maybe...a lil outside the ring too. Booburgh when and where did you get that skull????
