Table made for Garden Mania in Eindhoven. This table is designed to sprout your herbs. During dinner you can cut fresh herbs to fine-tune your meal, or you can make nice herb tea.

This table is shown at the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven in 2014.

This is KRIJT. 

KRIJT is a techno event organized by Lars Weijtens and myself. We both share the passion for events and techno music, so we decided to organise an event together. 

KRIJT was held on the 11th of December 2014 in Eindhoven.

The concept of KRIJT is an event with raw techno sounds (not very common in the Eindhoven techno scene) that you can visit for low entrance fee. And it was a mayor must to keep KRIJT on a thursday (student night) because there are a lot of events in the weekend, and not so much on the student nights (you can only go to bars).

The evening was from 20:00 till 2:00 and in these six hours there were six dj-acts including one back to back act.

Our goal for the evening was to have 150 visitors, but because of all the factors named above, wide range flyering and facbook promotion we reached 200 visitors. Which we considered it to be a great achievement for the first edition of KRIJT and our very first self organized event.

Because we had no budget to realize KRIJT, we had to use our large an strong network within the techno and event branche. We asked everyone that we knew for help to create a better experience for the evening.

Because of all the positve reaction and questions about a second edition we got from the people, we decided that this couldn’t be the end.

KRIJT Events was born and we haven’t looked back!

CONFETTICLUB at Mumbai Color Festival! Mumbai Color Festival is a festival on liberation day (5th of May) in Utrecht. During the festival you could buy the color powder, better known as holy powder. 

My job, along with 4 other girls, was to decorate the faces of the visitors with fluor paint.

Trash&Treasures at Boothstock Festival. Boothstock is a one day festival in Rotterdam. Trash&Treasures was here to organize a festival market where you could purchase a new outfit, get your nails done and get a caricature of yourself. They realised this market with participation of different parties from all across the country. 

My job here was to assist Marlon Schuurman (employee of Trash&Treasures) in making sure the different parties would be well guided through the day.

Trash&Treasures at MONARCK. MONARCK was a one time festival at Paleis Soestdijk in the Netherlands. The main music was techno. Trash&Treasures was here to organize a festival market. They realised this market with participation of different parties from all across the country.

My job here was to assist Marlon Schuurman (employee of Trash&Treasures) in making sure the different parties would be well guided through the day. 

I made a plan, so all the parties knew where they had to build up their stall. After that I was in charge of the camera, so I made pictures during the day where you could see all the beautiful clothes and accessoiries. 

It’s important for the parties to be on the pictures, because they can create a bigger brand awareness.

CONFETTICLUB at STRAF_WERK Festival! STRAF_WERK Festival is a techno festival in the Netherlands. CONFETTICLUB was here to make the most beautiful feather headdresses with the visitors.

My job was to assist Marlon Schuurman (founder of the CONFETTICLUB) during the day. Together we transformed our little area into a place where people come to escape from the madness. At the end of the day everyone’s walking around with a selfmade headdress. It’s amazing to see all those happy people.

Also on this day I was in charge of the camera. I captured every smile and everyone with a beautiful feather headdress. The pictures can be seen on facebook afterwards. This is a very important part to create a bigger brand awareness for the CONFETTICLUB.

My job was to assist Marlon Schuurman (founder of the CONFETTICLUB) during the day. Together we transformed our little area into a place were people come to escape from the madness. At the end of the day everyone’s walking around with a selfmade fan, it’s amazing to see all those happy people.
