Door to the Future

There is a special tree, near a special lake in Bulgaria, called Dospat. It is a place full of positive energy that transforms the crystal clean water found there into aqua vitae.   Winter is here already. And a reminder we have to be more careful. This was a relatively small warehouse at the ring road of the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. But see the smoke! Fire has started in seconds and the pollution was huge, hopefully nobody has been injured during the incident...

Story of five photos

  I would like to present to you today a photo of five of my iconic photos :) Ops, and the sofa in my atelier! :D Those particular prints took part in few events in 2016: Exhibition at the Glastonbury Festival of the Arts, according to some artists, this is one of the world's largest festivals with over 200,000 people. It happened in Pilton, Somerset, UK. Another exhibition at the Wilderness Festival, more "modest" with about 60,000 visitors, at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire, UK. The history of those visuals is quite interesting :) From left to right: the first one I gave as a present to my brother who continuously supports my art endeavors and who's a great lawyer, by the way :) The second one I sold at a charity auction for this cause: http://www.helpivan.com/ The third one I sold at a charity auction for a child with learning and physical disabilities. The forth and the fifth are still with me in my atelier, and I intend to sell them soon for charity as well. Joy of Life

I was on a photo travel with few friends, also photographers as myself and we woke up very early in the morning to meet the sunrise, really, we woke up and were outside so very early, almost an hour before the Sun appeared over Black Sea. I don't know this girl. She passed by me, going to the edge of the promenade by the sea. Then she started celebrating the new day by doing those strange exercises... I felt happy to be there at the moment and observe and photograph this joy of life in the instant. Photo taken at a photographic travel with my friends from Club Photo World, Bulgaria. It's always great to go on journeys with people who share the same passion with you, right? :)

Black Sea Impressions

During one of my photo journeys, wandering around the docklands of the beautiful town of Sozopol, at the shores of Black Sea in particular, I saw this photo in the evening, few instants before I pressed the camera trigger. I love black and white photography, and I also love silhouettes. And there were so many, telling so many stories...
