today went great! didn't take much pics though so here's some meal pics of today instead lol
- woke up at 5am! decided to stay awake after morning prayer instead of going back to sleep and i understand now why people wake up at such an early hour. i managed to accomplish all of my tasks, and some more, by 10am.... i don't think i'm ever going back to waking up after 5am like this is perfect! the only thing is that i need to adjust my night routine and sleep earlier
- had a delicious lunch which was yoghurt mixed with protein and topped with brownsugar apples and peanut butter! very filling and very yum
- incorporated yoga in my morning routine as well today, did about 45mins of it paired with a meditation before and after finishing. it was soo calming and a great way to start my day
- i made a website using react! i followed along with a tutorial and it's a very simple to-do list website but i'm going to adjust the code and make it more enhanced so it has more features like subtasks, recurring tasks, etc. might make a post about it once i'm done
- watched the first two episodes of the umbrella academy's new season! it's a favourite show of mine and i'm so excited to see how this season goes, although i have seen some spoilers and well... hoping it still ends well

today went alright! i accomplished my tasks, but i still feel as though i could have done more. i'll make up for it tomorrow, and today would simply be a rest day :)
- i started having a spoonful of garlic and honey in the morning! my mum is quite into natural remedies and such, she persuaded me to start doing this regularly lol
- had a wonderful breakfast! asides from the eggs and toast, i ate some watermelon and had my matcha latte. very filling very delicious
- today's workout was a yoga flow which was surprisingly both gentle and strengthening, i ended up sweating a bit but still finished the workout feeling calm
- did some revising on react and tweaked my website a bit! didn't end up starting a new project today lol but i'm definitely going to tomorrow, i got a bit stuck with a specific component and that took up my time
- i did a facial massage in the evening after dinner and it felt incredible! i've always wanted to do facial massages because of all the benefits but i couldn't find one i could stick to because of not wanting to constantly use oil on my face or do one that was too long, but i came across one today which seemed to be perfect!
- i've been cleaning my room (sweeping the floor) everyday instead of every other day and tbh the people were right when they said to keep your space clean. i mean, my room wasn't dirty lol but sweeping the floors everyday just helps with the overall cleanliness

i was quite productive today, in my humble opinion, and i think i'm making some good progress. hopefully i continue to maintain this routine
- i made myself a blueberry matcha latte for breakfast because fortunately there were some good blueberries at the market recently! it was very delicious, i loved it
- i had an everything shower today which reminded me of why i dislike everything showers lol they take up so much of my time, i need to find a way to break down the routine and spread it throughout the week instead of just one day. but i also did a cold shower instead of my usual warm ones and lol it was definitely Not Fun in the beginning but i got used to it
- i did move with nicole's 35min cardio workout with weights and i know my limbs are going to be absolutely sore tomorrow!
- i followed along a tutorial for creating a movie list app with react and it was really fun!! i will be adjusting the code and personalising it more tomorrow, but i managed to finish about 90% of it today!! gonna move on to different projects soon
- journaled and meditated last night as usual, i'm finding it slightly easier now to write somewhat neater

the weekend went wonderfully despite me not being the most productive academics wise, but i did accomplish a lot of tasks that i'm proud of myself for.
- deep cleaned my room, i'm doing this once a week
- rearranged my wardrobe, i was putting this off for so long only to finish it within 10 minutes lol
- rearranged my desk setup (will be doing a reveal soon!) because as much as i love the whole maximalist layout, it is so tedious to dust and clean
- cleaned my bookshelves
- started journaling again!! i'm trying to practice having a more neater handwriting because ever since i got into uni, i've only been taking digital notes and my handwriting has practically deteriorated
- began reading a new book, i've had the copy for ages but only got around to it now lol will be letting you all know my thoughts when i'm done
- today i started with the basics of react! i'm following along some tutorials on youtube, hopefully i'll be able to have a steady grasp on it by the end of august and create at least one proper project
- my skincare, pilates, and bedtime yoga + meditation game has been going strong! i've been consistent with my routines and i'm feeling pretty good about it. i used to do pilates 4 times in a week during july, and towards the end of the month i started doing it 5 times. this week, i'm aiming for 6! move with nicole's weekly workout routines have been a major help with this tbh i love her workouts even though they sometimes destroy me
- i went to bed last night earlier than usual and i managed to wake up earlier today too!! did some adjustments to my routine and i now have ample time to do what i want and still go to bed early :)

forgot to make a post yesterday because i was quite busy!! but yesterday went great, still working on my sleeping sched but everything else is going smoothly
- i did move with nicole's power pilates class, which absolutely wrecked me btw i was sweating so much throughout it and my legs were shaking by the end. i love nicole's workouts and they're my go-to, but i'm trying to branch out and find others that are just as good, so if you have any recommendations please share!
- i did end up meditating after my bedtime yoga the day before and i did last night too! i'm really excited to start adding it to my routine, i think it's a good time for me to meditate because one of my issues was finding the time to do so, and doing it after my bedtime yoga is perfect since i'm not just meditating and starting a whole new part of my routine but i'm stacking that habit onto another which i already do!
- i made dinner for my parents today, usually its my mum in charge of dinner (we make our own breakfast and lunch), but i decided to start making dinners for my family ever thursday! i made a chicken curry inspired by sanji's curry recipe in one piece, not that i've watched the show but a close friend of mine does, and i missed her so i thought why not. it was quite a long process because there were several steps and the ingredients had to be prepared in different ways and it wasn't just chopping and dumping them all together, but i still enjoyed cooking and it turned out great! also i say inspired by the recipe because i ended up changing a lot of things lol
- i studied and practiced javascript for about two hours! bless the compsci bros on youtube for posting free tutorials and giving access to knowledge. i'm trying to transition into react as well so most of what i'm learning for javascript is based on what's necessary for react!
- i've been on a social media break (instagram and twt specifically, deactivated my ig account) and i'm finding it really nice. it's supposed to be for a month or so but i'm tempted to just not return back to instagram at all— can't say anything about twt because my relationship with it has always been somewhat like a toxic ex, i leave it for around 4 to 6 months only to come back to it and start all over again until i leave— but i'm sticking to tumblr because i still barely use it lol i kinda just post and scroll for a bit then leave
goodness my daily logs are less of a quick post and more of me yapping and using this as my journal, which i guess is fitting since i call this acc my online diary. maybe i'll try shortening these posts and use like one sentence for each bullet point, let's see. anyways i hope you all are doing well, thank you for reading if you've read this far ♡

today went wonderfully, although i still haven't gotten the hang of fixing my sleeping schedule. i'm trying to sleep earlier and wake up earlier, but i end up falling asleep a bit late and wake up late as well, which doesn't give me enough time throughout the day to do everything i want to accomplish. but despite that, i managed to do most of the things!
- did my daily workout, it was cardio today :) i managed to get into the habit of exercising regularly which i'm really grateful for because it's been keeping me sane lol
- practiced javascript for a little over an hour, i'm aiming to enhance my skills this summer
- cleaned my room and organised my shelf. been meaning to rearrange my things and i've been putting it off for so long, but i decided to finally do it. i listened to this youtube video on self compassion and shame, and how shame is rooted in the need for love. it was really insightful, definitely recommend watching/listening if you have an hour to spare
- i'm trying to incorporate more protein and really just maximising my protein intake and omg this snack i discovered is so so good... its basically yoghurt mixed with peanut butter, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon, and i used that as a dip for apples! very delicious very filling
- i'm going to try meditating after i do my bedtime yoga so i can get back into the habit of meditating regularly, i miss it tbh

hello everyone! my summer break has started recently and i thought there was never a better time to finally post again on here. sorry for the drought lol but i ended up getting quite busy and barely opened this acc!! lots of things and changes have occurred so i'll list them down
☆ i started and finished my first year of my bachelors degree! the modules were all interesting and i enjoyed them, my classmates were all pleasant and so far i'm really excited to be starting my second!
☆ i turned 18 on june, which still hasn't set in lol... i know it isn't as serious of an age but oh well
☆ i got the highest grades in all of my assignments and classes! quite proud of myself for this one
☆ managed to get a hang of python, sql, html, css, and the basics of javascript and php!
☆ i created my very first website :) it was part of our assignment and we had to create one for an online supermarket. maybe i'll make a separate post for it
☆ i reached this year's reading goal! 40 books, i set it quite low because i haven't been reading as much but since there's still some time left before the year ends, i'll probably try to hit 50
☆ not as major of an update but something i've found myself drawn to lately is the way of tea and it's connection to mindfulness, also just trying to cultivate mindfulness in my daily routine. might make some posts about it later
this is all i can remember for now! i hope you all are doing well, and that life is treating you kindly. will be seeing you next time... preferably sooner than after a few months but lets see

palestinians refuse to lose hope, and you need to do the same. it is very difficult to not spiral into despair when it feels like all you can do is watch this unfold on social media but you can't let that happen. you cannot let yourself become numb and exhausted and indifferent. stay furious and stay devastated. hold onto your grief and let it give you the power to keep pushing. to keep protesting, boycotting, calling your state representatives and congress members if you live in the us - you have to stay emotional. israel and the us want to bully you into numbness and despair because that's the key to getting away with this. either get your citizens to accept your propaganda as gospel truth or make them give up the fight.
apathy and doom-spirals only aid in israel and the us's genocide of palestine. you have to keep hoping and you have to keep believing that yes if you try hard enough you can contribute to making a difference. don't look away, and don't give up either, okay? 🇵🇸💗
