"Hello. It's nice to meet you, Lucas. My name's Anabel."
A lot of people decided to cross your path!

"Um, hello," he greeted, coughing. "My name’s Lucas Adams. What are your names?"

And then her heart sunk slowly as he took his time to wonder off. Sure they haven't seen each other in a long while, but he wouldn't have forgotten her like that, could he? Well, it wasn't like she gave him a lasting impression.
"Well, no you're not." The change that the other took was certainly a surprise, it wasn't really the physical change, but something didn't feel right about him, like something else had changed, but she just assumed it was just her over thinking it.
When Ash had finally said her name, she quickly nodded, having herself be filled with relief, "Yes, it's me Anabel, from the Hoenn Frontier!"

An approximate cocktail of painkillers roughly swallowed some hour or two beforehand had him feeling almost disembodied. Uneasy feelings he could easily hide behind a thin and ineffective veil of indifference, copulating with a minor sense of bewilderment, but he remained feeling like a passenger strapped behind a foreign pair of eyes. Heavy, his head tilted to one side, a dead weight hanging in the breeze as limp and lifeless as ever, and he wondered. He wondered, and he wondered, and he wondered some more, yet no matter how much he tried to place the face to a name, he could not. For all of the nostalgic purple in her hair, he could not.
Vaguely, he thought of Harley, but the notion slipped away from him the second it had arrived, not unlike the wind in his hair.

“Yeah, that kinda… happens,” he said indirectly, hazel eyes squinting in the light. “Ain’t exactly Benjamin Button, am I?” The colour of her hair made it somewhat easier to recall the scent of his mother’s prize flowerbeds at home, but that didn't seem to rouse him any. Scratching at his bristled chin, he pondered. Faces so easily stretched out of view in his mind the longer he stayed away from them, it seemed; fractured along a lane of distorting memory, forfeit to the decay of time. He could not remember her name, or why she looked familiar. Maybe he could find her wavelength, a thin string of consciousness streaming by his own, and walk astride it with his thumb out - pick me up, take me to the end of the line, everything will be signposted, fluorescent strips burnt in bright headlight.
After a moment, he found it there.
“It’s Anabel, right?”
Well, you’ve still got your ceaseless charm, if nothing else.

You know, you would be so much cuter if you grew out your hair. I would say something about the boobs needing to get bigger, but you really can't do anything about that, and now that I think about it, you would look a little odd with big a big rack.
"Rude!"

She gave a small chuckle, "Ah, you didn't, today's just my day off. Anyways, I'm Anabel, you are?"

"Thank you so much." Nate sighs relieved.

"I almost thought I missed it for the next weeks or months."

"Research. I’m not really familiar with the Frontier Brain, so why not?"

"Oh alright. Then was there something else you needed?"

"Hello there. I’m not here for a challenge since I’m not even a trainer, so don’t worry about it."

The female blinked, looking at the man who had just walked in. Wait, that was Ash wasn't it? It was! He certainly changed a lot since their last meeting. Well, no duh, everyone changes sooner or later. "Ash? It seems like you've grown up."
