Sean Monterrosa was a 22 year old hispanic man. He was shot and killed yesterday by a police officer who fired through his squad car windshield 5 times, killing Sean while he was kneeling on the ground with his HANDS UP. The officer "mistook the hammer in his pocket for a gun" and decided to shoot him with no reasoning. His hands were up, he was complying.

Completely pointless but memorable dog walk

I was walking my dog just as it was starting to get dark outside, & i had a really weird experience. I tried a new route this time, & i decided to go down this little road that lead to a dead end, but it wasn’t too long of a road. As I was walking past houses, I smelled someone grilling steak, & I’ve always loved this smell bc it reminds me of cookouts from when I was little. I saw some people out in their garage & I had THE weirdest feeling of loneliness and wanting to go talk to them, go inside their house and hang out with them. It was so strange. I kept walking & this road was VERY dark, & usually I am scared of the dark but I figured my dog would alert me if there was anyone else there. Going down this road, I smelled so many things, relentlessly one after the other. I smelled more grilling, honeysuckles, pine needles, laundry detergent, sunscreen, mold, & cigarette smoke. There was also a house that had a light outside that changed colors, & I was very drawn to it. It was the most random array of smells, all of which I have emotional ties to. Also, there was no one outside besides the people grilling, & they were way past me now. It was strange, comforting, & nostalgic all at the same time. It’s not that big of a deal but it was altering to me, & I wanna document it somewhere lol.
