Hey hi hello, it's been a while life got in the way of things. But have my girl Lexa she's a comfort character of mine :) trying out some new shading, kinda hate it tho.

Under the cut is the speed paint, and as always any critiques are welcome :)

I used to draw till my wrist wouldn't let me move it any more. That was the kind of person I was I needed to always be creating some form of art. But for some reason I stopped during covid, and ever since then I tried to get back into it but I just kept discouraging myself. I wasn't as good as I used to be so I just never picked it back up which made things worse. This made me develope a mentality that I can only draw if I'm just as good or better than I was. I would look at art done by people of the same age as me and just put myself down even more because they have more experience and are more talented than me.

A couple weeks ago I decided to put an end to it. I would draw every day, doesnt have to be finished it doesn't have to be perfect and I won't get too hung up on minor imperfections. So I'm going to try and post my art on here despite knowing it's not the best quality. I'm thinking about making a blog just solely dedicated to this but that sounds like a lot of pressure right now when I'm just trying to get back on my feet.

That being said here is my latest WIP of Gerard Way. I am actively coloring it digitally so maybe there will be a post later on about it :) its not great but any feed back is always welcome and very much appreciated :)

I'm newsih to art! I haven't been creative for a really long time. I'm trying to get better and will try to post updates on my progress.
