tw// eating disorder talk, binge eating specifically

i don't see enough posts about regressors who struggle with lesser known eating disorders, specifically compulsive eating, or as it's more well known as, binge eating.

yes, binge eating IS in fact an eating disorder, a medically recognized one, typically referred to as BED (binge eating disorder).

so, to all my regressor friends out there who struggle with binge eating, i see you, i love you. i've struggled with compulsive eating since my early days in high school. it's hard, but we will get through it one step at a time.

eating disorders do not have a size. not everyone with an ED under-eats or is underweight. not everyone with an eating disorder has anorexia or bulimia. many of us binge, we overindulge, we are overweight. please include us in your positivity and activism. we often feel so excluded in ED discussions because we are left out.
