⚡️ Some Hercules Headcanons! ⚡️

Herc has four siblings.

Oldest to youngest:

- Athena

- Ares

- Eileithyia

- Hebe

- Hercules

He is the baby of the family and his older siblings are VERY protective of him.

He is bisexual with a slight preference towards girls.

Herc and Adonis actually dated briefly (like a year or some months before the show’s events). Like the self-centered snob he is, Adonis just couldn’t help but flirt with every girl he meant. Not only that, Herc’s clumsiness embarrassed Adonis. This caused a big stir in his and Hercules’ relationship, and eventually led to their messy breakup and rivalry.

Herc has had a couple other boyfriends in the past, his most special one being Hylas. But nonetheless, Meg is his true love! (She’s bi too).

Hercules has a bunch of freckles. He used to be very insecure of them when he was younger, but Alcmene and Amphityon would always tell him he was perfect just how he was!

Meg loves his freckles too!

Herc has always been a hopeless romantic, dreaming that he’ll find someone who will love him for who he is and despite his flaws.

Before he started his journey to become a hero, he was interested in getting into theatre. (Theatre kid Herc my beloved).

In a modern AU, Hercules would be a jock, theatre, and choir kid. He has a bunch on his hands, but he likes to keep himself busy.

He also would be very close with Ariel. They have their own little special nicknames for each other (Hercie and Ari). Cousins gotta stick together!

He is an age regressor. Everyone he’s close to is very supportive of him. (Although, I imagine some townsfolk would be confused by the fact their great hero has a childish side to him.)

If anyone were to complain, Meg won’t hesitate to fight someone. No one insults her baby!

Icarus and Cassandra are also very supportive of Herc’s regression. They’re great substitute caregivers if Meg, Phil, or Pegasus aren’t around to help him.

Icarus is especially good at keeping Hercules entertained while he’s regressed. He always has Herc laughing hysterically and clapping his hands.

Little Herc also loves it whenever someone kisses his cheek or forehead. Whether it’s from Meg or one of his moms, he loves receiving cheek and forehead kisses!

Hercules gets lost very easily, he cannot be trusted on his own.

Herc has a lisp when he speaks Greek (It’s canon, listen to the Greek dub of Go The Distance).

The Gods spoil Hercules rotten. It doesn’t matter how old he is, they will spoil him.

The Muses specifically love to spoil Herc, and they always give him the sweetest pet names. They also see him as their baby brother and will treat him as such.

Little things that I noticed in the Hercules movie + the spinoff show (out of order):

- In the Electra episode he asked for milk instead of pomegranate juice, and the waitress looked at him like he was a big baby. Give him his bottle, gosh darn it.

- Pain (at least I think it was him) mentioned in the Achilles episode that he "can't even tie his own sandals", and both the imps and Hades act like he's some helpless kid without Phil. In the same episode he also whines like a little kid because Phil won't buy him the sandals he wants.

- He pouts a lot, and acts like a curious child who is seeing the outdoors for the first time. Also, the big puppy-dog eyes.

- The Spring of Canathus episode. No explanation needed. (Also him in just a diaper but not wanting to anyone to know that he was wearing one was actually really cute.)

- In the episode where we first meet Tempest, him acting like he can use a regular javelin just fine was so cute. He doesn't want to accept that he's just a little guy. Also Tempest called him a child at least once.

- Him having nightmares in the episode about Morpheus's conflict with his brother, and Phil trying to get him to sleep by singing to him. Hercules honestly just looked like a cranky baby the whole time, and I wanted to cuddle him so bad.

- Him trying to be super well-behaved in the movie, especially after he started training with Phil. He's so precious.

- Him wearing that deer costume in the episode where he ends up having to learn how to dance, and getting chin scratches. Again, absolutely adorable.

- Medusa holding his head in her lap in her episode, and protecting him for a few minutes.

Summary: bunch of headcanons and prompts based on how I think Hercules would behave in certain situations.

• Will blow little raspberries randomly

"Oh honey, where did you put your paci?" Meg asked as she looked around, searching inside a few boxes to find his pacifier. It's not that she minded him sucking on his thumb, but he was stubbornly decided to suck on it as he painted.

Hercules didn't answer, and instead blew a little raspberry at her, giggling. Meg looked up and couldn't help the fond chuckle that scaped her lips, reaching to ruffle his red hair.

"What was that, mh? Did you just blew a raspberry at mama?" She asked with a soft smile. Hercules seemed a little confused, and instead of answering blew another one, laughing at the noise it made. Meg chuckled fondly and caressed his cheek, patting it as she slipped his pacifier between his lips.

"There you are, no more sucking on your icky hands" she hummed, sitting down next to him.

• Will coo and demand to be held as he's being fed a bottle

Hercules whined and whimpered as he shook his head, lips pursed to prevent Phil from pushing the bottle between his lips.

"C'mon little champ, stop fussin' and and take the bottle before it gets cold" Phil groaned patiently, not knowing what could have caused Herc to be so fussy. He had been fine just a few seconds before!

"N-Nu" the redhead demigod pouted stubbornly as he crossed his arms and looking down.

"Champ, you gotta tell Phil what's wrong if you want help" the satyr said, trying his best to be patient. He knew better than to yell at Herc while he was so little.

Finally, the demigod seemed willing to cooperate. He pointed at Phil, then at himself, and made a rocking motion with his arms.

"Uh... You want some cuddles? A nap?" Phil tried his best to guess, each word he said just made Hercules pout even more. He looked around and picked one of his stuffed toys, picking him up in his arms and doing as if he were feeding it a bottle. And this finally seemed to make Phil realize it.

"Oh... You just wanted to be held, mh?" He asked, gaze softening as he ruffled his hair, making Hercules coo as he nodded and smiled. "Okay champ, here ya go."

Of course, Phil was way too small to hold him properly, so he sat down and let Herc rest his head on his lap. "Now, that's a good baby" the satyr praised as Herc began to drink from the bottle, settling down and closing his eyes as Phil ran a hand though his hair, the other one holding the bottle.

• Always asks to sleep with someone (Meg, Phil, or even Pegasus)

Hercules found Meg sitting on the porch, her purple dress flowing around her like a pool of shadows. She looked up, her eyes softening as they met his.

"Hey, wonderbly," she greeted, her voice gentle yet teasing. "Long day?"

He nodded, sitting beside her. "Yeah, you could say that. Meg, can I... can I ask you something?"

She turned to him, sensing the seriousness in his tone. "Anything."

"Can I sleep with you tonight?" He blurted out, immediately feeling the rush of warmth to his cheeks. "I mean, not in that way. Just... I want to be close to you. It makes me feel safe."

Meg's eyes widened for a moment, then softened with understanding. "Of course, wonderboy. You never have to ask."

Later that night, after dinner and some quiet conversation, they retired to their bedroom. Hercules felt a strange sense of relief as he climbed into bed beside Meg. She wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close, and he nestled his head against her shoulder.

The next few days passed in a blur of training and heroics, but each night, Hercules found himself asking Meg if he could sleep with her. She never said no, always welcoming him with open arms and a reassuring smile. But one evening, as the sunset painted the sky, he found himself wandering towards Phil's small, cozy cottage.

Phil was busy polishing his trophies, his goat ears twitching as Hercules approached. "Hey, kid! What brings you here?"

Hercules shuffled his feet, feeling a bit awkward. "Phil, do you think... could I stay here tonight? Meg is away for the night and I didn't wanna be alone..."

Phil raised an eyebrow, but seeing the earnest look in Hercules' eyes, he nodded. "Sure thing, kid. Mi casa es tu casa, as they say."

That night, Hercules curled up on the small bed in Phil's guest room. It was a bit cramped for his large frame, but the familiarity of Phil's presence was comforting. Phil sat nearby, speaking to himself, Hercules felt his eyelids grow heavy.

"You did good today, kiddo," Phil said softly, his voice laced with pride. "Get some rest."

Hercules smiled sleepily, feeling like a child again under Phil's watchful eye. "Thanks, Phil."

A few weeks later, after a particularly grueling battle, Hercules found himself standing at the entrance of the stables. Pegasus, sensing his distress, neighed softly.

"Hey, buddy," Hercules greeted, stroking Pegasus's mane. "Mind if I bunk with you tonight?"

Pegasus nuzzled him in response, and Hercules took that as a yes. He spread out a blanket in the straw-filled stall and lay down, feeling the gentle warmth of Pegasus beside him. The rhythmic rise and fall of Pegasus's breath lulled him into a state of calm, and as he drifted off, he felt the weight of his responsibilities lift, if only for a little while.

• If he's wearing a diaper, he'll not be able to tell when he needs to be changed so Meg and Phil have to keep an eye on him regularly unless he's taking a nap

This new chapter of his life, the one that came with his regression, included a change that required a bit more attention: wearing diapers.

It had taken a while for him to accept this need, but Meg and Phil had been incredibly supportive. They understood that, despite his strength and heroism, even Hercules needed moments where he could let go and feel protected.

One sunny afternoon, Meg and Phil were discussing the day's plans in the kitchen while Hercules played with Pegasus in the garden. Meg glanced out the window, smiling as she watched Hercules and Pegasus race each other.

"He looks so happy," Meg remarked, a hint of warmth in her voice.

Phil nodded, but his brow furrowed slightly. "We need to keep an eye on him, though. Remember, he can't tell when he needs to be changed."

Meg sighed softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I know. We'll just have to check on him regularly."

As the afternoon sun climbed higher, Meg brought a pitcher of lemonade out to the garden. She approached Hercules, who was laughing as Pegasus playfully nudged him with his nose.

"Hey, wonderboy," Meg called out, catching his attention. "How about a break for some lemonade?"

Hercules smiled brightly and bounded over, nearly jumping and bouncing happily. Meg handed him a glass and subtly checked his diaper. He was still dry, but she knew they'd need to stay vigilant.

Phil joined them, bringing out a plate of fresh fruit. "Alright, champ," he said, patting Hercules on the back. "How's it going?"

"Great, Phil!" Hercules replied, taking a big gulp of lemonade. "Pegasus is faster than ever!"

They spent the next few hours enjoying the day, and every now and then, Meg or Phil would discreetly check Hercules. It wasn't an easy task, but they had grown accustomed to this new routine.

As the sun began to set, Hercules felt a wave of drowsiness wash over him. He yawned and stretched, feeling the exhaustion from the day's activities.

Meg noticed and smiled gently. "Ready for a nap, wonderboy?"

He nodded, his eyes half-closed. Meg took his hand and led him inside, with Phil and Pegasus following close behind. They made their way to Hercules' room.

Once inside, Meg checked his diaper again. "Looks like you need a change before your nap," she said softly, not wanting to embarrass him.

Hercules nodded sleepily, trusting Meg completely. She and Phil worked together quickly and efficiently, making sure he was clean and comfortable and changing him as fast as possible to avoid making him cry. Hercules sighed with relief as they tucked him into bed, the soft blankets enveloping him.

Phil sat at the edge of the bed, his gruff exterior hiding the tenderness he felt for his protégé. "Get some rest, kid. We'll be here when you wake up."

Hercules smiled, his eyes already closing. "Thanks, Phil. Thanks, Meg."

As he drifted off to sleep, he felt an overwhelming sense of peace and safety. In these moments, he didn't have to be the strong, invincible hero. He could just be Herc, surrounded by those who understood him best.

Pain & Panic CG edition!😈🧁

• At first, they'd be very hesitant about being caregivers, seeing how their last experience with a baby ended out. However once they start figuring things out and making a routine with their little, they'd slowly start to get more comfy!

• Pain would be grumpy about it but in the end he'd let the little cuddle him to sleep, instead of using a stuffed animal. Panic argued that it'd help them bond.

• Panic tends to be very overprotective over the little. He'd be constantly worried about them not getting hurt or lost, to the point of even fussing over them a bit too much. But he means good!

• If their little gets upset or hurt, Panic would freak out first and then try to calm them down. Pain would try to calm them both down, and heal any injuries the little may have gotten. Colorful band-aids make everything better!

• They would come up with all sorts of games to keep their little entertained, such as hide and seek, or dressing up and playing pretend, or simpler games like peek-a-boo if their little is smaller.

• If the little uses bottles, Panic prefers to get them ready and Pain feeds them to the little, often with them laying down on a bed or a sofa and him sitting on a cushion or armrest to be able to hold it near their mouth.

• Panic tends to insist on night lights or shiny decorations such as star stickers are a must, they don't want their little demon to get scared at night, do they?

• While they do not like being manhandled, they'll let their little play with them or even tug just a little at their tails. After all, they're a baby, are they not?

Love it when the animators add little details like him rubbing his cheek as he's scolded, makes it more authentic and gives his character more characteristic gestures!

Cg! Medusa headcanons (migraine edition)

This contains: migraines (obviously), mentions of throwing up, diapers, medicine. Enjoy!

Inspired by a post from @crybabypupper ^^

● I feel like Herc gets migraines every now and then, it isn't quite common but also not rare at all.

● When he gets one and Phil nor Meg are available to take care of him, he'll reluctantly call for Medusa. It's not that he doesn't want her to be there, but he finds it hard to be little in front of other people

● He'll be 100% non-verbal, and he'll cry at the slightest noise near him.

● He will curl up in his bed with all the lights turned off and the windows closed, using his arms to shield his face when someone opens the door.

● Medusa will try to be as quiet as possible, only humming gently sometimes or muttering things to herself.

● She'd let him rest his head on her lap, and if he's not feeling unusually pained, he'll ask her to play with his hair (gently).

● He'd be too tired to argue about medicine being icky and he'll drink or eat what he's given, no fuss unless he's full or wants to throw up.

● Since he's not moving from the bed and drinking liquids, Medusa would most likely get him into a diaper to avoid a mess (she'll have to keep an eye on him tho, we don't want any rashes!)

● Medusa would insist on carrying him around everywhere, putting him on her hip like a baby while she does anything. Hercules loves being carried around and being shown stuff or have things explained to him as if he were a baby.

● She loves putting voices as they play with his toys or for a bedtime story, and knows how to be quiet so his head doesn't hurt.

● Until she's sure he's fully recovered, she'l stay with him like a mother hen, making sure everything is okay and he's doing better.

● Sometimes, to distract him, she'll let him play with her sunglasses, or even to try them on so he can look 'cool like big sis Medusa'

Little!Hercules headcanons (sick edition)

This will contain: brief mentions of throwing up, brief mentions of diapers and a bit of anger issues. Nothing too graphic, enjoy!

● He rarely gets sick, being a demigod and all that, but when he does, he gets sick. After making sure that he is indeed sick, he goes into panic mode and starts to overthink, 'who will save the city now if there are monsters?' And stuff like that, which most of the times causes him to go little.

● He will most likely try to sleep it off. If it doesn't work, he'll wake up from his nap feeling even more tired than before, fussy and sick. Tears might appear here if he's alone.

● He tends to go non-verbal, only whining and making little distressed noises and using his hands to ask for things (beware of his pouts and puppy eyes!)

● He won't deny feeling sick if Meg or Phil finds him, but he'll be adamant about not wanting to be taken care of, feeling like he's going to burden them. He's supposed to be the strong one, isn't he?

● Meg would have a firm no-nonsense attitude, shushing him and checking for a fever or other symptoms, while the poor baby just whines, teary eyed and wanting Meg to make it better.

● Phil would definitely be similar, although at first he'd try not to show how worried he is about his wonderboy. He'd act a bit more firm at first, and when Hercules starts to cry he'd instantly go into soft mode, reassuring him and wiping his tears.

● He's clingy, very clingy. He starts crying as soon as one of his caregivers leaves his sight, and will insist on being cuddled (as he knows nor Meg or Phil are strong enough to pick him up).

● He will eventually eat the medicine he's given, he just likes to fuss a bit. Since he's sick, and usually a sweetheart, they both let him complain or whine for as long as he needs to (he has to let things out too).

● If he's really really sick and has had lots of water and juice, he won't object to Phil or Meg putting him in a diaper when he takes a nap or is more hazy. Better to change a wet diaper than wet bedsheets!

● Pegasus will most likely sneak in to cheer him up a bit, being as gentle as he can and using his wing as a blanket if he's cold or wants to snuggle. When he gets sad about his pegasus having to leave, Phil might allow him to stay to avoid making him cry. "Well he was already inside, and the kid gave me the puppy eyes!"

● The only ones who know about his regression are: Alcmene and Amphitrion, Phil, Meg, Pegasus, Cassandra and Icarus (I feel like Medusa would be totally fine with it too).

● He absolutely hates puking. He cries non-stop while, and after, and won't calm down until the bitter feeling is gone from his mouth. If he gets sick at night, he'll just want to go back to bed and will cry about being utterly exhausted.

● He doesn't like getting colds, as his nose is runny and he can't breathe properly, meaning he cannot suck on his paci (as he needs his mouth to breathe)

● Apollo may drop by to check on him, giving him back rubs and maybe even letting the poor dear nap on his chest, since he can pick him up.

● As he recovers, he might go in and out of his headspace, which makes him confused and a bit fussy too, until he finally gets better.
