Friday the 5th of May held the opening of Little Establishment’s 3rd Exhibition which hosted a massive evening full of Art, Live music beers, love and laughter! Thanks to everyone who came along, all of the artists involved and anyone else who helped us with such a great night. Reflecting on Remembered Death Forgotten Youth

a recent solo exhibition present by artist Matt O’Brien. His extensive effort and thought that runs so deep into his artwork never ceases to impress. 

The incredible amount of intricate detail in the works of his, really show how much time he spends to make something really speak to you. If you don’t know Matto yet, I hope you do get to meet him one day. He never fails to lift the spirit in a room and always makes life super fun when he’s around.

Little Establishment is celebrating its second show. Series II will be opening on the evening of Thursday the 8th of September and run for three days at the Enough Space Gallery tucked away in the Chapel Street Precinct in Prahran. In true form of our concept where a collection of Melbourne artists hand paint onto fine leather and denim jackets, Little Establishment will be shedding light onto the ever present loom of anxiety and depression with a new capsule of all white Jackets. On Friday the 17th of June Little Establishment had it’s official launch event, which was held at the Daisylegs Gallery in Richmond, Melbourne.

The Gallery was full of a collection of our jackets sourced and hand picked by Little Establishment and given to 12 different Melbourne based artists to paint on for the show. These one of pieces were all for sale and displayed over the whole weekend.

Thanks to all who came to our launch event! And thanks to all who helped make it happen! We had a great turn out on the Friday night and over the weekend. Vibes were high and thanks to Sailor Jerry’s Spiced Rum for keeping us cheery and warm on the Friday evening.

His fascination for the dark arts is most intriguing where he seems to celebrate symbols of death with the use of bright colours. Gareth’s craft is down to a tee where he doesn’t miss a beat.
