I love setting up my 12 different photos which rotate on my phone's wallpaper. Then giggling a little as my favourites come up. Feel like I'm about to start twirling my hair and kicking my feet. God help me if anyone ever looks over at my phone screen.

I have so many thoughts and feelings towards the Emperors of the Gladiator series. It's... this awkward want to soothe them... and also ride them to high hell.

I really want to make more Commodus stuff, I think he's interesting with his need for control, his insecurities which seem to drive him more than any grand dream and his own self inflicted hatred.

The twins are interesting with the codependent fractured relationship they have. How Caracalla is both dependent on Geta to rule and struggles with the lack of control both politically and emotionally. Geta, who would be a horrible tyrannical ruler, is by contrast a sense of stability almost when compared to Caracalla. If Geta, himself, was on his own then he would be horrible but with them together it is a balancing act of ruling: Geta must stabilise Caracalla but is also the same brand of childish, impulsive and sadistic so really it is all for naught.

I acc could write a decent analysis but I am lazy and this is a weird rant. Anyhoo, I want more Commodus stuff and I feel like majority of it is on FF.net or some other medium rather than on Archive but maybe there's lots on Tumblr I just need to start digging. If anyone has any fics which they like (no carageta mind you) then feel free to link them.

Maybe I'll finally get round to writing some fics.

I'm thinking whiny ass Commodus and moody Caracalla. Geta I love you but you don't need more love from the fandom at all.

On a side note, I watched Gladiator 2 in a language I'm not fully fluent in yet so when I do watch it in English I cannot wait to understand all the dialogue.

I am 22 years old.

I am non-binary and go by them/them. I don't mind being called she/her but it is a toss up on some days and can hurt.

I am a lesbian but I mostly post about men. I find comfort in it... perhaps I am bi but men irl put me way off. So really, I think I just like the male form but do not emotionally connect well with men romantically.

I am trying to become fluent in German and am interested in learning Italian. I am a fan of history (mainly in late modern stuff, y'all in the ancient fields are amazing to me and I love it. I just never had the chance in school to study it properly and thus my interest lie elsewhere).

I am a dreaded English person, terrible...

Favourites

My favourite actor is Cillian Murphy, I think he's a fantastic cameleon actor.

My favourite movie is Fantastic Mr Fox, it brings me lots of comfort and is an easy watch which I think is important.

I don't have a favourite singer or band really.

My favourite genre is horror, I have a Leatherface tattoo and will always hold a space in my heart for horror but right now it is not what I'm obsessing about.

Anyway, I think I'm in love with young Joaquin Phoenix. He has such a cute face and a softness to him.
