Y’all I watched Public Enemies (2009) again last week and there’s a certain line that WILL NOT LEAVE ME BE.

Now this was said by Johnny’s character, John Dillinger, to Billie, the girl he was with. I’m not looking up whether or not John Dillinger had one of those piercings bc my search history is already questionable as it is.

HOWEVER. It does have me wondering things.

Was it just said for the movie?

Why was that line said in the first place?

My birthday has come and gone once again and my lovely husband took me out to dinner. My brainrot didn’t let me have the day off so… here you go.

Imagine if you will reader going to a Japanese restaurant for their birthday where they seat multiple parties together at random. They call readers party of one, and two or three more since about 10 people can be seated at the same table. Reader hears a highly familiar last name (one of his characters like Hanson, Crane, Todd, Rainey, ect.) but doesn’t think anything of it. Someone takes a seat next to reader and by habit they look over seeing the person which that familiar last name belongs to. They try not to draw attention to the fact that they know who they have sitting next to them but their face is completely red. Johnny notices, pulls this face 👇🏻 and decides to have some fun.

“I know you know who I am sweetheart. If you keep it between us I’ll give you a reward after everything’s done here.”

What follows I have no idea but I also thought of him giving reader one of his earrings (the safety pin ones) kinda like Claire did with John Bender in The Breakfast Club.

This one isn’t as great as my last post and certainly isn’t as coherent but I couldn’t let it stay in my brain.

I was at the Science Center today and with my brainrot I was just thinking about Tom Hanson taking reader on a date to a museum/science center/zoo kinda thing. It makes reader feel a bit childish since most of the patrons there *are* kids with their parents or school but they have fun regardless. Smiling like a kid at Christmas when they see their favorite subject/animal/etc, getting excited to do like an animal interaction/touch tank. Him watching readers eyes light up and them getting all excited and he just looks at them like this. 👇🏻

At the end of the date he sneakily buys them a plush of their favorite animal. After they get back home he pulls it from behind his back and gives it to reader, smiling all lovingly at them as they gush over it and gives him a kiss (first or not the kiss still happens)❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s mostly fluff in my head but hey anything can lead to smut. 😉
