Window Of The Soul.
I have surrendered into a great love for our lounge windowsill. From the cloudy blue of old age to the conversations it has silently listened upon, only to keep each woman secrets and lust of life and love hidden deep within the wood like bees honey in a beehive. Our windowsill has come to accommodate my morning coffee and cigarettes, pre-warning of visitors entering below and the best attribute to provide us as of yet, luminescent afternoon sunshine.
Occasionally I have come to think (while sitting upon this windowsill) of grabbing the camera and capturing pictures of by-standers and countless dog walkers below as they voyage to their own personal purpose. My mind then feels obliged to grant me with a short film of a officer arriving at my door inquiring if I am the woman sitting high above the sidewalk with a decently large camera gathering images of pedestrians walking below which is then followed by an abrupt reply of yes without wilfully knowing as my mind is still in the presence of an officer standing at my door and has not yet registered to the question I have just been summoned upon. Which is then followed by a awkward conversation of explanation in attempt to convince a stranger that I am indeed not physiologically insane, but that I happen to just find beauty within a humans face who is unknowingly being photographed. The more I speak, the more this robot of injustice is convinced I am mentally unbalanced. Ending to my train of thought with a conclusion and agreement with my mind and impulse to not take photographs of the strangers below, but those faces of my beautiful friends instead.
For the time being I sit here contempt with the windowsill, as it reads over my shoulder like any right human does when they pass some description of reflection, looking long enough to gain ones acceptance of whether they behold enough beauty on the outside for someone to stop and take notice of the inside, but quick enough for no one other than the victim to catch this movement in action, in threat of others seeing their own self doubt. The windowsill also helps me string together stories of my enjoyment in Spain, of the thunderous laughs among friends, of the people I have met and shared my windowsill with, in return for stories of their own and most efficiently, words larger than five letters.
As I sit rested upon the Window of the soul I send my appreciation for all littlethingsgreat it has shared, for I have received a job in France and is now time for me to embark beyond a fresh, new adventure. Lucky for me, all my adventures consist of windowsills.

Two Hour Plane Ride
It's quite great when you can jump on a plane and have a smorgasbord of countries to visit within a two hour plane ride. It's even more great when you have a friend alongside and come across a golden 1L tequila bottle for 12Euros.
Last Thursday on our plate we choose Spain, and who would not? Over 8000Km of beaches, they have the highest number of bars in all EU and according to 69 Fun Facts about Spain, the name Spain diverged from the word Ispania, which means the land of rabbits. A week and a half down, the beaches are clear turquoise, the bars are every 10 steps and Spain is crawling with adorably cute rabbits.
Currently I am galavanting the country side and streets of Palma de Mallorca, a beautifully landscaped island off Barcelona. During exploring and work finding I have managed to set myself up in a beautiful down town apartment with three truly classy kiwi friends; Maxine, Phoebe and Jamie. Lately my eyes have been preoccupied upon a new novel I have been recommended to read: For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway which is set back in the Spanish Civil War. This book is so sublime it makes my toes tingle like when I see the drop from tall buildings.
I am captivated with Palma. The communal friendliness shared between close and mutual friends. The golden warm sun which wraps arounds an individual in the way syrup is poured onto pancakes from an elevated level, leaving you golden and luminous. It's also the only place where you will come across a circular castle fixed upon the hills. In a common context I would say "well that's not something you see everyday", however in my case it's a view from my window.
Aaaah thank you Spain, for your circular castles and admirable rabbits.

Monaco, you are a little bit weird with your marbled mirror under-ground tunnels and perfectly sealed smooth roads.

La Belle Vie
Europe. She has been doing wonders to my eyeballs (have recently brought clear eyes from the lack of blinking) and supplying sensations to my tongue. It's all been a bit great. France - oh my hat. Back home I would of liked to mention in a conversation followed by my strong debate of good woman drivers that my road crossing also was well skilled. I am now challenged daily with my new great friend; zebra crossing and unqualified, coffee high ants. Ants you may ask. Well, imagine ants on there convoys for leaves and grapes, minus their slick single-filed march lines; you are now introduced to ants on acid. Enough said. Travel has brought peace to my mind. I now find myself over analysing whether or not I have emailed my parents enough within the past three days rather than beating a dead horse over evaluating a mans mentality. Appreciation and ones demeanour is a profound importance of daily life here in France. Firstly, I love how each individual is addressed by either Monsieur, Madam or Mademoiselle. You automatically hold yourself a little higher, smile a little wider, feel a little warmer. Secondly, I have learnt to enjoy and be grateful of the food I eat. To indulge in a few petite spoons of heaven, then rest. Sip your wine, socialise with fellow company, people watch, good lord I've even managed to do the Haka to my waiter during this wee pause of world intake. I must put fourth, that beyond the sassy life of style and croissants, the French have a few littlethingsgreat going on around the walls of history and romance. As Mahata Ghandi said "live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever". Now this I AM good at.

Wanderlust ☮
I have recently embarked upon a journey of exposure. I am not yet sure on where this journey is guiding me nor the destination it will leave me to figure out the rest, but I have a pen along with some colourful pencils, paper and reassurance from a wise owl that lived in a green gypsy trailer that "I have a large imagination in addition to immense expectations and plans for myself, all which are capable of becoming reality. However, it is only in my hands to turn these visions into facts of existence", which I thought was rather self explanatory. Nevertheless, here I am; growing, learning, exposed. And making daisy chains along the way.
